"Who the hell do you think you are?"
Chaehyun briefly glanced up from his phone only to roll his eyes when he saw his best friend, Lucas stomping into the room with a deadly look in his eyes. Lucas' hand came in contact with Chaehyun's knee causing the boy to scream out dramatically as he clutched the spot that he hit, upon seeing the reaction, Lucas made a face and patted his knee softly as if to make it better.
"Who do you think you are coming up in here and harassing me? I could get you done for that. I could get a restraining order because i no longer feel safe with you in my presence. If you don't want me to take legal action then I accept a few bills as your way of a sorry and I will think about it."
Lucas scoffed, "don't be dramatic. We both know I'm broke. Anyway, why the hell am I being told that you're not coming to prom? You're Kim Chaehyun, you have to be at prom! how the hell do you expect girls to notice me if the king of the social hierarchy isn't by my side! I'm hot, Chaehyun but sometimes a pretty face doesn't work all that well. I need you there and you're abandoning me! Gosh, since when did you become so selfish?"
It had always been Lucas and Chaehyun since the very first day of High School. They are the type of friends you'd see in those cheesy high school movies. Lucas had bumped into Chaehyun during the second year of High School, he had just moved to Korea and was mumbling in what sounded like ninety different languages when he tripped and landed straight into Chaehyun, somehow from that small run in they had become friends and soon, Lucas filled in the spot of Chaehyun's best friend, though they thought of each other more like brothers.
Chaehyun was labelled 'the king of the school', because of just his outgoing personality. He was known and loved by everybody. His mean nature never failed to intimidate people but soon confuse them when he would crack a smile and walk away. He was a confusing guy that left people wondering if he liked them or not. He kept people on their toes and Lucas was always by his side, wherever Chaehyun was then Lucas wouldn't be too far away. It's like they had a non-existent umbilical cord keeping them attached.
"Yeri found a date, there's no need for me to go anymore." He shrugged.
To anyone else, he would've looked unbothered but Lucas knew Chaehyun like the back of his hand and there was no way in hell that he was unbothered by it. Lucas knew he was slowly plotting the death of Yeri's date in his brain and he also knows that he was pitying himself whilst doing so.
