DISCLAIMER: This Chapter is based on the episode above. I have cut it up into different parts and also added my own bits. This is my first time writing something like this so, i cannot promise that it will be good. Can I just say how much i love variety shows, I will literally sit for hours just watching them and never get bored, i don't know why i haven't done a chapter like this before.
Beneath this mini disclaimer will be the outfit which you can imagine Chaehyun wearing or just imagine him in whatever you want.
Let me appreciate my bias: MARK LOOKS FUDGING GREAT AND I WATCHED IT THREE TIMES AFTER THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED IT AND THEN I WATCHED IT TWICE WHILST WRITING THIS AND I AM STILl BREATHTAKEN, THEY ALL LOOK AMAZING. okay im done, proceed.

"NCT 127!"
The song Regular blasted throughout the studio and the camera panned towards the eleven members. They began their walk, each doing a mini dance to their song as they did so but of course, Chaehyun being Chaehyun had to just scream. That's right, he didn't dance, he screamed and jumped with his arms waving above his head. The hosts cheered as he appeared before them and Chaehyun sent a wink towards the camera. Yuta reached out and grabbed the younger boy, pulling him back into the line as the group introduced themselves with their usual introduction.
"Let's have each of the members introduce himself to the viewers." Chaehyun nodded along with every word, keeping his eyes on the hosts but he briefly turned and smiled at the camera.
"The weather got cold so suddenly. NCT 127 must not catch a cold, so I want you to do a warm introduction. We want you to a warmhearted boy version." Chaehyun's nose scrunched up and no one really knew if he was confused, cringing or simple constipated, however, the boys guessed that he was just cringing as the words 'oh gosh no', escaped his mouth. He sighed to himself and prepared his introduction as Johnny began.
"I'm Johnny, I will hug you like a warm blanket." A loud squeak came from Chaehyun amongst the multiple 'oohs'.
The hosts laughed but failed to mention anything about the reaction as the line went down, finally, it was Chaehyun's turn. The boy took a deep breath and looked directly into the camera lens causing the members to slap each other and cringe, knowing that what's about to come would either get thousands of people swooning or cringing.
"I am as warm as the steaming hot chocolate I would make you on a frosty evening, I am Lachlan." Chaehyun winked and proudly threw an arm around Taeil who shook his head whilst everyone else complimented Chaehyun's introduction. Taeil threw his arm off and shook his head before introducing himself.
As time went by, Chaehyun found that he was enjoying himself a lot more than he had in the past, he felt more relaxed and able to show off his personality more without feeling bad about it, for the members, it was a nice change to see him out of his shell. Johnny was explaining how he has a talent at losing Rock, Paper Scissors and of course, Chaehyun jumped at the opportunity to insult his member.
"To make himself feel better, he calls me a cheat but the thing is, even if i knew how to cheat during the game then I still wouldn't need to...he's that bad." Haechan burst out laughing, jumping up to high five his Hyung who was smirking smugly at Johnny who glared at him.
Johnny raised himself off of his seat and turned his back to the members, Chaehyun moved over and lifted his hand at the same time as Johnny. Chewing on his bottom lip, he wasn't about to let Johnny win. Chaehyun watched Johnny's movements carefully and eventually, the game came to an end with Johnny winning. Chaehyun laughed at the sight of Johnny's face.
"You let him win!"
Chaehyun shrugged. "I mustn't have been paying attention."
"Yah! Lachlan! You let him win!" The host screamed causing Chaehyun's giggles to increase, his body fell into Haechan's as the two switched seats.
"So next up is, Lachlan or Chaehyun, you can speak English, Korean and Italian correct?"
"Correct."
"Where did you learn Italian?"
Chaehyun grinned proudly, "My Grandmother is actually Italian. Growing up I was taught to speak both English and Korean and I lived in London, but when I moved to live with my grandparents in Korea, my grandmother taught me the language in my spare time."
"Have you ever been to Italy?" The hosts pressed.
Chaehyun nodded his head. "Multiple times, really pretty place. Really pretty. I would love to live there." Chaehyun's dream had always been to move to Italy and of course, he couldn't but he hoped that someday in the future he could move there with his family and live a peaceful life without the stress of anything on his shoulders.
The show went on with Chaehyun speaking a little bit of Italian, impressing the hosts, he even managed to make Jungwoo blush by wrapping his arm around the older member and whispering 'Ur adorable, i love you' in Jungwoo's ear in Italian. Of course, this gained a reaction from the group.
"So, Lachlan you have a close friendship with a member who isn't currently present but, Lucas? He's your best friend." The mention of Lucas caused the edges of Chaehyun's lips to curl up happily and he nodded eagerly. "Oh, you seem very happy. Sweet, sweet. Do you miss him when he's away?"
"As much as Chaehyun pretends that he dislikes the attention from Lucas, if they aren't together for a long period of time then Chaehyun will become so sulky and moody. Like, he has to see Lucas at least twice a day to be happy," Mark spoke up.
Chaehyun's cheeks flushed, though the information wasn't false, he didn't want the entire nation to know, Chaehyun was now certain that this moment would get added into a 'Luchlan is real' compilation.
And to be honest, he wasn't opposed to it either.

I cannot stand this chapter and if this is published then I have spent hours on it and then fifteen minutes debating on deleting it, I think i will publish it as I took so long to write but I just idk im just not in the right mind frame and it just seems really badly written like even more so than usual, but yeah i guess I hope you enjoyed.
