Midoriya Izuku: Leap of Faith

Start from the beginning

"Hello there," you greeted, putting a hand behind your back, giving the surprised villain a small bow. The villain scoffed, eyeing you down like a piece of trash.

"So, you're just a puny brat," he laughed, mocking you. "You've got guts to try and play a prank on me."

"Oh, that wasn't a prank," you replied casually. "It's my quirk, see?" you waved your hand, the villain's shadow imitating your movement.

"Wha-quit messing around, you little shit!" he lunged himself forward towards you. "I don't care what your quirk is! I'll kill you first for messing up my-"

"Woah, that's no good," you stepped aside as the villain swung his fist, the impact of his attack strong enough to blow dust around. He smirked, confident that he did quite a punch at you. Only, as the dust had cleared, his eyes widened as he was only met with a trash bin, the metal dented and pieces of trash coming out.

"What the hell?"

"Quite a strong attack there, sir," you spoke, coming out from the shadow in the wall. "Now it's my turn."

You stretched your arms forward, the villain suddenly letting out a gasp as he felt his body freeze. He struggled to move, only to find out what was binding him was actually his shadow that you controlled.

"What-let go of me, you damn brat!" he yelled, struggling to break free of quite a strong grip from a shadow figure.

"No, wait. I'm not done yet," you stepped forward, lips curling into a smile behind the mask. "I'll have to teach you a lesson~"

You tossed the villain out into the alley, all beaten up and exposed to the people. A note stuck on his forehead, with a message that you wrote: 'This guy just tried to assault a woman here in the alley. Please bring him to the police. Thank you!'

With no signature of your name, the people who read the note had no clue where it came from. Still, they had done as told, reporting the villain to the nearby police.

You sighed patting your fingerless-gloved hand of any dust. The woman had now regained her composure after you had calmed her down. And as she looked at her rather young savior, she couldn't help but be grateful.

"Um, miss?" you turned to face the woman. "Thank you for saving me."

You gave her a curt nod as a reply. The woman smiled.

"Um, is it alright if I ask for your name? Just so I could know who my savior is."

You stepped back, now feeling your hidden fear as you were now looking at the expectant woman. When she noticed your alarmed reaction, she tried to question you about it; but before she could, you put your hand up in a stop sign, halting her attempt. You gave her a quick bow before running off out in the alley.

"Hey, wait!" the woman called out, trying to run after you. But as she went out of the alley, there wasn't a single trace of you anymore.

The sun was beginning to set, the sky being painted with shades of yellow, orange, and pink. You scaled up a ladder onto the roof of a small building, admiring the view of the city and the sunset. You sighed, pulling your hood down and mask off, revealing your face. It was the right time and place where you could take off your other personality and be at peace with yourself.

You sat on the edge of the rooftop, looking down at the people below. You couldn't help but smile as you thought of your current achievent of defeating a villain.
