Special Chapter 3 (END)

Tasha's P.O.V

Pinindot ko ang 'lobby' sa control panel ng elevator at naghintay hanggang makaabot ako rito. Nang bumukas ito ay tumambad sa akin ang napakalawak na lobby. May mahigit 5 chandelier na kumikintab mula sa ceiling at naghalo ang iba't ibang lahi. Namangha ako sa engrandeng lobby at hindi ko napansin ang lalakeng nakatayo sa harap ko.

"Excuse me, Ms. Roblez. I am your chauffer for today. Mr. Ahn has instructed me to deliver you safely to your destination." May Korean accent ang pagkabigkas niya. Nginitian ko siya at saka sinundan patungo sa labas. Nang makalabas kami ay agad kong naramadaman ang malamig na temperatura. Mabuti nalang at pinagbihis ako ni Korean Boy nang isang makapal na coat.

"Just wait here for me Ms. Roblez." Paalam niya at madaling umalis. I observed my surroundings. Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na nakapunta ako rito sa Korea pero ito ang unang pagkakataong kasama ko si Korean Boy. Just the thought of that made me flush and giddy.

Now, where is that Korean boy and what is he planning?

Maya maya lang ay may humintong itim at magarang kotse sa harap ko. Lumabas ang chauffer at nagmadali akong pinagbuksan ng pinto. Pinasalamatan ko siya at umupo na sa loob ng mamahaling sasakyan. Nagsimula na siyang magmaneho at hindi ko napigilang magtanong.

"Umm, Mr?"

"You can call me Hoseok, Ms. Roblez."

"Then you can call me Jul, Hoseok." Tumango siya habang nakangiti.

"Where are we going Hoseok?" Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili kong magtanong. I think I'm going to die from my curiosity.

"I'm afraid I'm not allowed to say, Jul. Orders from Mr. Ahn." Matipid niyang sagot. I pouted. I love surprises but being an inquisitive girl was one of my downfalls. Napatingin ako sa labas at sinundan ng mga mata ko ang snow na nagsisimula nang mag-ipon. I love Korea but nothing beats the  warmth of the Philippines and its people. Sa L.A. pa rin ako kasalukuyang nakatira pero sinusubukan kong umuwi sa Pilipinas nang mas madalas. 

Matapos ang ilang minuto ay pansamantalang tumigil ang kotse sa harap ng isang napakataas at malawak na gate. Sinubukan kong silipin kung ano ang nasa likod nito pero nagsisilbi paring harang ang gate. May inilabas na phone si Hoseok at bigla namang nagbukas ang gate. 

Napanganga ako sa nakita ko. Isang napakalaking mansyon na sa tingin ko ay aabot sa 4 na palapag ang tumambad sa akin. Dumaan kami sa isang courtyard na nakapabilog at nasa gitna naman ang isang fountain na may statue na anghel. 

Where is this place?

Pinagbuksan ako ng pinto ni Hoseok at inalalayan ako papasok sa mansyon. Patuloy parin akong namangha sa karangyaan ng paligid. Inihatid niya ako sa isang garden. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa aking nakita. I couldn't stop the gasp that escaped me.

It was so beautiful. The fairy lights glittered everywhere I looked and a fountain was lit up by different lights. I turned around and there was a piece of cloth covering something. I was brought out of my amazement when I saw my parents standing in front of me.

"Mommy? Papa? Ano pong ginagawa niyo rito?"

"We love you so much. Gusto naming maging bahagi sa isang napakaespesyal na pagkakataong ito. We are so happy for you." Niyakap nila ako nang mahigpit. Di ko napigilang mas maguluhan sa mga nangyayari. Nang pumunta na sa gilid si mommy at papa ay pumalit naman ang mga magulang ni Korean Boy. 

"I know you're going to make him the happiest guy out there. We love you already." Nagbeso si tita sa akin at binigyan naman ako nang malaking ngiti ni Mr. Ahn. Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko nang makita ang lolo ni Korean Boy. Lumapit siya sa akin at niyakap ako.

"Gajog, nae sonnyeoe osin geos-eul hwan-yeonghabnida." Napabend ang ulo ko sa gilid dahil sa sinabi niya. Humiwalay na siya sa akin at saka bumalik sa kinauupuan niya. (Welcome to the family, my granddaughter)

Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyayari pero punong puno ng kasiyahan at pagmamahal ang mga taong nasa paligid ko. Umikot ako para hanapin ang taong pinakahihintay ko. This would be perfect if he's here. 

Isang tunog ang kumuha ng atensyon ko at di ko napigilang mapaluha sa saya. In front of me was a sign illuminated by lights. Marry me? Mas bumilis ang patak ng luha ko nang biglang nagpakita ang taong kukumpleto ng gabing ito.

Daniel's P.O.V 

I tried to calm myself down. I looked at all of the people who were currently conversing with one another. A smile overtook my face as I've never been so sure of anything in my life. This was it. Suddenly the doubts started to settle in me. What if she said no?

"Calm down, my son. I know how you feel right now. Remove all those doubts. I have a feeling that this will be one of the best nights you'll ever have." My  father clipped my shoulder. He gave me a warm smile. I returned his smile and tapped his hand on my shoulder. He laughed and went on his way towards my mother who was currently sharing stories with my angel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roblez.

I slid my hand inside my pocket and felt around the velvet box. I took a deep breath. Suddenly, my phone vibrated inside my other pocket. I pulled it out and read that my cute bunny is here. I began to walk towards my hiding place and the people settled themselves. 

I watched as an angel entered the gardens. She graciously greeted and hugged all of the people here. I was surprised when my own grandfather greeted her with such warmth. I mean why wouldn't he? She was perfect. I noticed her looking for me. I contained my happiness and decided that it was time. 

I instructed the operator to turn the sign on and I removed the cloth covering it. I watched as her tears fell from her bright eyes. I didn't want to waste any moment and I made my way towards her. She looked at me like I was the best thing that ever happened to her. Little did she know that she became my world; my everything.

I caressed her soft cheek and placed a kiss on her forehead. I looked at her intently and it still baffles me how beautiful my girlfriend is but I intend to make her more than that. I distanced myself from her and dropped down on my knees. I heard her adorable gasp and looked her straight in the eyes. I asked her the question that would become my savior or my demise.

"Will you marry me, baby?"

She full on sobbed and I can't stop myself from chuckling. She looked so cute. There was a tense moment as I waited for her answer. She went down to my level and placed both of her hands on my face. 

"Yes. I love you." I felt my world spin when she kissed me and I returned it with much passion. I was on cloud nine and didn't want to come down. I pulled away and placed the ring on her finger. She smiled at me and I saw her cheeks take their red color. 

"I love you my soon to be wife." 

And as I kissed her again I felt that everything was where they were supposed to be. Her in my arms as I give her all of the love that I could give while she's doing the same thing.
