It's after 7th period and the afternoon announcements are on.
"Students, there will be a Christmas Dance this Friday, December 7th. It is going to be a casual dance. Girls may wear jeans but no short shorts or spaghetti straps. That's all for your announcements. Everyone is dismissed, have a great rest of your day!"
As I left the classroom to go to my car, the entire school was buzzing with excitement about the dance. I overheard some guys talk about how they were going to ask their girlfriends. I overheard some girls talking about how they imagined how their boyfriends would ask them.
Seth walks up to me and pats me on the back. "So, how are you asking my sister?" he asks. I shrug. "I don't know," I tell him. "I'm still thinking. How are you going to ask Sasha?" Seth shrugs as well.
Sami walks up to us. "Hey Sami. How are you asking Becky to the dance?" Seth asks. He shrugs as well. "I don't know, but you guys can come to my house to plan it. I have no sisters, so we can easily plan there."
I nod and go to my car and drive to Sami's house.
When I get there I park the car and walk inside, where Sami has poster board and markers. We search up some ideas on the internet. Our final products look good.

We go to school the next day and I bring my poster and walk towards Bayley. I just hope she says yes.
I show her the poster. She smiles and looks into my eyes. "Of course I'll go to the dance with you Finn!" She hugs me and I hug her back, giving her the poster. I wish this moment would never end.
