Just Go With It. (Editing of Minor Errors!)

Chapter Seven

Jack goes into the bathroom and comes out around 15 minutes later, clean and shirtless.

“Geez! Do you ever wear shirts?” I ask pretending to be disgusted and he laughs.

“Well considering my bag is in here, and I forgot to bring in a clean shirt, then yes” He says and I roll my eyes.

“Yeah yeah, excuses. So are you ready for tonight?”

“Uhh no not really. Does your dad know I’m here?”

“Yeah….about that….” I say smiling “It kind of slipped my mind?”

“JESS! How could that slip your mind?! He’s going to kill me!”

I bit my lip, holding back a laugh. “Yeah, well if you die tonight, you’ll die in a nice outfit.” I say smiling.

“You completely suck, Jess” He says and I smile

“Just move so I can get ready” I say and I get up and I grab my curling iron and makeup bag and I walk into the bathroom. “I’ll be done in like an hour” I say smiling and I lock the door. About an hour later, I walk out of the bathroom, hair curled and makeup subtle and perfect.

“Okay, bathrooms all yours” I say smiling. “Jack?” I ask waving a hand in his face “Are you okay?” He shakes his head

“Oh uh yeah, I’m fine. It’s just,…..never mind” He says and walks into the bathroom to get ready. I knock on the door.

“Hey, I need your help with something” I say and he opens the door.

“Can you zip me up?” I ask turning around and moving my hair, exposing my back. He zips my dress up and kisses me shoulder, and I shudder under his touch.

“You. Look. Beautiful.” He whispers in my ear and I smile and turn around, letting my hair fall back in its place.

“Thank-You.” I say smiling.

“Can you help me with my tie?” He asks and I smile

“Sure” I say and I re-adjust it and tie it perfectly. He puts his vest on and puts his suit jacket on a hanger.

“Well are you ready?” I ask as I pick up my silver heels and silver clutch, putting my phone and hotel key in it.

“I’m ready” He says smiling and we walk to the elevator. We get in his car and drive over to the church, to meet my family. We get to the church and I step out of the car.

“Come on!” I yell pulling him out of the car. We walk hand in hand over to my family.

“Hey guys” I say hesitantly. “You remember Jack, right?”

“Nice to see you, Jack” my mom says smiling and my dad looks at you and then at me and shakes his head.

“Yes, nice to see you” He says and I roll my eyes.

“PICTURES!” My mom yells, breaking the awkward daggers my dad is shooting at Jack. I pull him over to my brother.

“Jon this is Jack, Jack this is Jon”

“Hey, congratz dude” Jack says shaking his hand and I smile.

We all take a few nice pictures and a few crazy pictures. It’s about 6:00 pm and Jack and I take a seat in the church. I sit next to my mom, for a bit since I’m one of the bridesmaids. Jack is next to me, I’m holding one of his hands with both of mine on my lap. The weddings about to start, I hug my mom and I look at Jack, and smile.

“Please behave” I whisper to him and he laughs a little, and everyone looks over at us. And I laugh “Wow my family is just loving you.” I say and he shakes his head

“Just go, have fun” He says and I walk out to wear the other bridesmaids and groomsmen’s are waiting.

Jon walks down the aisle after the priest. He is followed by the best man, who is Landon and the maid of honor who is Selena’s sister.  Next is Me and one of Jon’s best friends, Tyler. Him and I walk down the aisle, smiling. We get to the end and he whispers something to me and I laugh a little and walk over to Selena’s side. Everyone finishes walking in and the wedding starts.

About 40 minutes later, after the vows and such the priest announces “Jonathan Thomas Hogan and Selena Grace O’Brien, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Jonathan, you may now kiss the bride” The kiss and everyone claps. My mom is crying and my dad comforts her. We all begin walking out of the church. We stop to take a few pictures of the bridesmaids, groomsmen and the bride and groom. We finally finish and I walk over to Jack.

“So, did you behave?” I ask smiling and he nods.

“Yes, mom”

“So are you ready to party?!” I ask a little excited and he laughs

“Hell yeah I’m ready to party!”

Reception Hall 8:00 pm

 

Jack and I pull up to the reception hall.

“Let’s go old man!” I yell walking in front of him

“Stop calling me that! I’m not old, I’m 24!” I laugh a little

“Could have fooled me” I say smiling and he looks at me

“You’re going to regret saying that” He says and I laugh

“Yeah yeah, you ready? Let’s go, everyone’s already inside dancing the night away and we are out here babbling!” We walk inside and everyone’s awkwardly sitting down. Selena gets up and has her father daughter dance. And Jon gets up and has his mother son dance. They all sit down, and we have toasts.

After toasts, I grab Jack’s hand. “We are dancing, let’s go” I say laughing and I pull him out onto the dance floor. I take off my heels and run over to the DJ

“Hi, can you play Whistle by Flo Rida please” I ask and I walk over to Jack.

He looks at me, lust and happiness fill his gorgeous blue eyes, and I laugh a little.

“Ready?” I ask and I take both his hands in mine and we start dancing like complete idiots, keeping it PG since there are kids around. We literally dance the night away. I walk over to the bar, sweaty and out of breathe

“Hi can I have water please?” I get my water and take a sip just as a warm pair of arms wrap around my waist and his chin on my shoulder

“Can I have a sip?” Jack asks and I smile

“Ewww, no you have germs” I say smiling and I turn around still in his arms and I hand him my glass of water, and he drinks all of it.

“Hey! You asked for a sip! Not the whole thing!” I say pretending to be upset and he laughs and kisses my forehead, sending fireworks through my body. The photographer comes over and he tells us to kiss and I laugh and look up at Jack.

“Oh uh we are just friends” I choke out and Jack forces a smile.

“Yeah, just uh friends” He says and the photographer rolls his eyes.

“Oh please you should see the way you two look at each other when the other’s not looking” He says “Just kiss for the camera”

I look at him and then up at Jack, and I blush. Jack laughs.

“We should do what the guy with the camera wants” Jack says smiling down at me, his crystal blue eyes looking down at me and I nod. He leans down, one hand on my small of my back and the other on my cheek. I stand up on my tippy toes and we kiss.
