Chapter 10. My Girl. My Girl. My Girl.

_____________________________________________________________________________

“I was about to say…before I was so rudely interrupted that, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girl?” Jack asks.

I look up at him and I smile. “I mean, I guess that’s cool.” I say even though I am like dying inside. Jack however sees right through me and he smiles and nods.

“So… yeah?” He asks eagerly; blushing a little

I smile and nod, pulling his lips down to mine quickly. I pull away, biting my lower lip. “Does that answer your question?” I ask smiling and he blushes again and nods. The ride comes to an end and Jack gets off first holding my hand in his.

“Have a good night, man” Jack says to the ride attendant. He throws his arm over my shoulder, never letting go of my hand.

“So what now? We can play some games, watch the sunset, uhh ride rides?”

“How about we play some games. And I’ll show you my manly man skills” Jack says and I laugh and shake my head

“If you say soo. But I guarantee that I will kick your old man ass at any of these basketball games.” I say smiling and Jack looks down at me.

“You’re ganna regret that, little girl” Jack says in his teacher voice. I smile and laugh, running over to the basketball games.

“Let me pay” I say to Jack and he looks at me.

“Now what kind of boyfriend would I be if I let you pay?”

“Uhh a normal one?”

“Well I don’t want to be just some normal boyfriend. I am paying, and will always pay. And that’s final. Got it?” Jack asks, trying to keep a straight face.

I laugh “Yes, Mr. Morris” I whisper in his ear and I kiss his cheek.

“Hey! Mr. Morris is my father. Call me Jack.”

“Uhh, no thanks. I’m ganna stick with Mr. Morris. Does that bother you?” I ask smiling, I turn my back to him and I pick up one of the basketballs. As I am about to shoot, Jack wraps his arms around my waist, putting his chin on my shoulder.

“Excuse me, Mr. Morris?” I say laughing “ I am a little busy here buddy boy”

“Oh I’m sorry.  I did not know my dad was here.” Jack says looking around. I roll my eyes and laugh a little.
