Chapter 19    When The Sun Shines, We’ll Shine Together

Jess P.O.V.

We both get in the shower. Me in my black lace bra and black panties and him in a pair of dark green, Calvin Klein boxers.

“You have mud all in your hair” I say laughing as Jack cleans off his face.

“Can you help me a bit?”

I nod and I take his Axe shampoo and I rub it in his hair. Jack starts singing Umbrella by Rihanna, and by singing I mean singing poorly.

"When the sun shines, we'll shine together

Told you I'll be here forever

Said I'll always be a friend

Took an oath, I'ma stick it out till the end"

I smile and sing the next verse along with Jack

“Now that it’s raining more than ever

Know that we’ll still have eachother

You can stand under my umbrella

You can stand under my umbrella”

“Ella ella eh eh eh

Under my umbrella

Ella ella eh eh eh

Under my umbrella

Ella ella eh eh eh

Under my umbrella

Ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh”

Jack and I sing over and over until the water turns cold. We step out of the shower and he changes in his room and I get dressed in the bathroom.

“Hey Jack?”

“Yeah?”

“Can I borrow some clothes?”

“Yeah sure uh what do you want?”

“Can I have a pair of sweatpants?”

“Yup, hold on one second.”

I put on my a pink and white polka dot bra matching panties and a white cami with mismatches socks, along with Jack’s pair of grey sweatpants. I throw my hair in a messy braid and walk out to his room.

“I didn’t know you wore glasses?” I ask as Jack looks up at me.

“Yeah, I hate them so I don’t wear them much.”

“Why?”

“Why do I hate them?”

“No why don’t you wear them? You look hot with them on” I say and he blushes a little

“Oh really?”

“Yes really, but don’t wear them to school”

“And why not Ms. Hogan?”

“I don’t think I would be able to concentrate.”

“Well that’s not a terrible thing.”

“It is too. I need to pass your class to graduate.”

“Hmm, maybe I’ll fail you on purpose then” Jack mutters as he leans down and kisses me gently.

“Jack? Jess? Do you guys want some hot chocolate?”
