Trust Issues Princess Peach X Female Knight Reader

Author's Note: This request is for Crunchycat 123 who wanted a Princess Peach X Female Knight Reader Friendship One Shot Story!! This takes place in a Alternate Universe!! As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block!! Thank you and enjoy!! Italics: Thoughts Bold: Information/Authoress

~Third Person Point of View~

We find two people walking through Toad Town, one is the beautiful ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom the other is the loyal knight (Your Name). Though Peach is happy to have her by her side to protect the knight tends to get... overprotective. Whenever Peach walks (Your Name) makes sure that there's no rocks, sticks, and other debris in her way making sure Peach doesn't trip and fall. If a citizen or reporter moves closer to Peach's personal space (Your Name) will bring out her (Favorite Weapon) in case they're a spy for King Bowser. Even before Peach could enjoy her afternoon tea and cake (Your Name) would make sure it's not 'poisonous'!! Sure Peach can be a patient woman but it's starting to wear thin.

~Peach's Point of View~ The Next Day

"(Your Name) do you wonder why I wanted to talk to you alone?" I asked. "Do you need something Princess?" She questioned me. "Not now I just want to talk to you." I replied as (Your Name) listens. "Look I really appreciate everything you've done for me, but as of lately you're being overprotective." I stated. "Overprotective? I'm just doing my duty as a knight Princess." She responded. "Yes I know (Your Name) but you're treating me like I'm some fragile doll, I can take care of myself remember? I've been in three Smash Bros tournaments." I I reminded her. "I-I know.." (Your Name) said lowering her head in shame. "I'm just afraid of losing you Princess, you're like a older sister to me ever since we're children." She spoke. 

~(Your Name) Point of View~

"Do not worry (Your Name)." Peach spoke as she hugged me. "I can't help it Princess." I replied with worry. "I can take care of myself, and if Bowser comes I know you and the Mario Bros will save me." Peach explained. "That is true..." I said. Toadsworth appeared and not far behind the elderly Toad are the Mario Bros, the five of us went to the tea room for some refreshments and snacks. Things were going great until Bowser came with Kamek and Bowser Jr eager to capture Princess Peach. Not on our watch you evil koopas!! I thought as I brought out (Favorite Weapon). But I wasn't the only one ready to fight as the Bros took out their hammers while Princess Peach took out her frying pan!!

~Third Person Point of View~

While Mario and Luigi were fighting Bowser Jr. and Kamek we see Princess Peach and (Your Name) against Bowser.  "Soon you'll be my wife Peach and this kingdom will be Mine!!" Bowser declared but the two females weren't going down without a fight. (Your Name) distracted the Koopa King by attacking him with her (Favorite Weapon. Meanwhile Princess Peach began using her magic to attack her enemies and support The Bros and (Your Name). (In Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars Toadstool/Peach uses magic like Psych Bomb for damage while Group Hug is a healing spell). Sure the battle was tough and there were some injuries, but in the end Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Kamek were defeated and sent back to Dark Lands. One thing's for sure Princess Peach and her loyal knight (Your Name)'s trust became unbreakable after this incident.
