Scotland x Fem!Dragon!Reader-Escape

I shake my head as a 'no' and he nods understandingly.

"Me neither, I left when was really young to find a better life," He explains "Allistor Kirkland."

He extends a rough hand for me to shake and I do, lightly.

"(Y/n) (L/n)." I reply shyly, still feeling pain in my leg

He begins to apply pressure to my leg and clean it with water.

"So how did the dragon get away?" Allistor asks

"I guess it heard you coming and flew away." I says

'I better have, but not to far." He mumbles "I'm a hunter and killing it would get me a lot of money, enough to move into the big city and live there."

I become nervous and my heart is beating fast. If I try to fly away now he'll kill me, I can't let him know I'm the dragon. After my leg is fixed up he lets me lay back down in the bed and covers me with the blankets.

"I'm going to see if I can find that dragon, stay here and rest lass." He says and walks out the house

Wow he's really handsome, and sweet WAIT NO! He wants to kill me, I need to escape, but only when I can walk and fly. Who knows how long that's going to take?p

*Time skip to the next morning*

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
I wake up to the smell of cooking eggs and bread over a fire. Allistor is cooking breakfast so it seems.

"Good morning." I say quietly

Mornin' lass, breakfast will be up soon and then I'll re-wrap your bandage." He says gruffly "I found your case close by and brought it with me,"

"Why are you being so nice and helpful?" I ask confused

"I guess because I've never been able to help anyone else, just make lives worse." Allistor sighs "And I feel drawn to you, like we were meant to meet."

I feel a stab of guilt for lying to him but I try to ignore the feeling, he wants to kill me. He hands me my breakfast and begins to bandage my leg again.

"So why where you in the forest lass?" He asks "There isn't a village around for a few days walk."

Oh right, flying is faster than walking. So once I get out of here I'll officially have lost all the people trying to kill me.

"I don't want to talk about it." I mumble quietly

He nods and wraps his arms around me tightly,

"I understand, only tell me if you're ok with it." He whispers

I nod and finish eating my food while he bandages my leg. I guess I need to stick around here a bit longer or else I could get more injured in my human form and revert back into my dragon one.

*Time skip to a month later*

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
I've made a mistake, I fell in love with Allistor. He was just so sweet, kind and amazing to me despite being a little tough around the edges and having some family issues. I don't know how he feels about me but if he says he loves me too, leaving will be harder.

I'm sitting down on a chair, looking at the forest outside. I hear footsteps and it's Allistor, who's smiling a little bit.

"Hey (Y/n), can I talk to you?" He asks

"Yes of course."I reply feeling nervous

I turn to look at him and he is blushing lightly.

"Well lass, lately I've been feeling something towards you." Allistor says "I don't want to be just friends with you, I love you."

"No you don't." I say quickly

"What? Yes I do love you, so much." He replies

"No, you don't love me, you couldn't love me." I sigh "You don't know the real me."

"Then show me lass, I'll love you no matter what." Allistor says

I look into his green eyes which seem desperate for me to say yes. I love him, I can't do this to him... I need to show him my true form or else he will spend his entire life wondering why he couldnt love me.

"Fine, follow me." I say leading him out of the house and into a clearing

"I want you to know I love you too, and the only think I ask is please don't kill me." I say before taking a few steps back

I look at him one more time, thinking this is the last time I see him and I transform into my dragon form, still looking into his eyes,

His mouth drips open and he gasps, but doesn't reach for his sword or dagger.

"H-How?" He asks

"I'm half dragon," I say, even in my dragon form I can talk "There was a spell cast on my parents, making me half dragon. I understand if you hate me now."

'No, I don't hate you lass, I'm just surprised is all." He says and places a hand on my scaly leg "I've never seen a dragon this close... well alive that is."

I look down to him and still feel his hand on my leg.

"I still love you lass." He says confirming his love

I revert back into my human form and jump onto his arms. Kissing him on the lips excitedly. He kisses me back, holding me tightly.

"I'll never hunt dragons again, I love you to much lass." He whispers

"I love you too." I reply kissing him again

"Hey can you take me flying?" He asks eyeing me up and down

"Maybe one day." I giggle, excited for the future

He presses another rough kiss to my lips, smiling happily after. Then stopping like he suddenly realised something.

"Sorry for shooting you down." He mumbles

I laugh and kiss his cheek.

"It's alright, I know you still love me." I say happily
