"Decline," Virgil muttered, pressing the red button and sending a quick text. A minute later, he got a notification.

Virgil growled, then hit the accept button angrily.

"Listen, Princey, I'm not in the talking mood. Now stop calling me."

"Virgil, what is troubling you? Is it that dragonwitch? I shall slay it for you!"

"No, there's no dragonwitch." Virgil slowly moved his finger, the one that hovered over the "end call" button. It wavered, then he finally rested it on the side of his phone. Maybe he would talk a little bit.

"Then what is it? You know you can tell me."

Virgil leaned against the side of his bed. He was sitting on the floor of his room, a blanket wrapped around himself like a cocoon.

"I'm not doing so well," he admitted. "Thomas has an audition for that musical he's been wanting to do for years coming up, and I've been really worried that he's going to mess up. I'm just nervous about the whole thing."

The other end of line was silent, and Virgil thought Roman had hung up, until he seen it still said the call was still on. Then, he heard the creative side's voice.

"Virgil, where are you?"

"I'm in my room. Why?"

The other didn't say anything else. This time, Princey really did hang up.

Virgil hugged his knees to his chest, pulling the blanket around him tighter. After a minute, there was a knock on his door.

"Come in," he said, a bit confused. No one ever visited him.

The door opened, and Anxiety was surprised to see Princey. The creative side looked down at Virgil, then sat down next to him.

"What are you doing here?" Anxiety asked. Roman was quiet at first, then wrapped his arms around Virgil. The other froze up, but didn't make an effort to pull away.

"You said you weren't feeling well, so I came here to make you feel better." Roman tapped the blanket with a finger. "May I?"

Virgil, understanding what he meant, lifted the blanket, allowing Roman to slip in with him. Virgil's face heated up, not used to the closeness of someone else. But he didn't mind it. In fact, he enjoyed it. Anxiety even leaned into Roman, feeling the warmth the other radiated.

"What do you say we watch a movie to get your mind off of things?" Roman suggested. The other nodded, and Roman snapped his fingers, the TV in the room lighting up with the opening scene of Black Cauldron. Virgil's eyes lit up in recognition of his favorite Disney movie, and he turned to smile at Roman.

"Thank you."

Roman smiled. "You're welcome," he said, making it sound like the Moana song. Typical Princey. Roman hesitated, then pressed a kiss against Anxiety's forehead. His face and ears turned pink, but the creative side seen a smile slowly curve on his lips.

*Two hours later*

Patton looked around every room in the mind, trying to find Roman for, er, advice. Every room except for Virgil's.

Patton figured he wouldn't be in there, but he eased the door open anyway. His eyes took in the scene in front of him, and he stifled a squeal. It was officially the cutest thing he'd ever seen.

The two sides were sitting on the floor together, Virgil curled up against Roman, and Roman had his head resting on top of the other's. To add to the adorableness, they were both wrapped in a blanket. Patton looked at the two again before slowly closing the door, a grin on his face.

Another chapter done! I know it's shorter, but I had the idea a while back and finally had some more inspiration for it!

Enjoy, ~Kirs
