You Are My Sunshine

Driving down the country road, the two smiled and laughed as they joked around. The couple were on their way to a beautiful beach house for a birthday party for their friend Lachlan, but the drive was a long one.

"That is so funny!" Preston exclaimed as he giggled.

"Vikk's reaction was the best." Rob told the younger as he kept his eyes on the road.

"I wish I was there to witness that prank man. It wouldve been awesome to see." Preston said as he looked at Rob.

"Well at least you get to see the guys now!" Rob said, looking at the younger with a smile.

"Yeah." Preston said happily before his face turned to one of horror. "Rob look ou-"

He was cut off as a large semi truck, whose driver seemed to be drunk, smashed into the front of their car; sending them flying off the side and into a tree just by the road.

Preston groaned as he looked over at Rob's side, nearly panicking when he saw he wasnt there.

"R-robbie?" Preston asked as he painfully unbuckled his seatbelt and climbed out of the car; to find a bruised and bleeding Rob lying on the ground. "R-ROB!"

Preston quickly crawled over to Rob and turned him over; nearly fainting at the blood pouring out of Rob's chest where a glass shard had broke through his skin.

"P-preston?..." Rob whispered almost innaudibly.

"H-hey Robbie... it'll b-be okay... just stay a-awake..." Preston told his lover as he looked up at the people who had stopped their cars. "SOMEONE C-CALL AN A-AMBULANCE! PLEASE!"

"P-preston..." Rob quietly murmered, gaining the younger's attention.

"Y-yes Robbie?"

"C-can you s-sing m-me that s-song you w-would always s-sing to m-me?"

"O-of course Robbie..." Preston replied sadly as he began to sing.
