Chapter Thirty-Nine

“Uh, yeah it is hun” I say and we both laugh

“Good morning, ladies” Ja….I mean Mr. Thomas says.

“Morning” I say and I look at Liv as she just looks up at him. He chuckles a bit

“Good morning, Olivia.”

“M-Morning, Mr. Thomas” She says, blushing like crazy.

“Well I’m going to head out, but you two try to keep your hands off each other” I say and the two of them look at me. “Hey, I’m just looking out for both of you.” I say and I walk down the hall.

I start rushing to class not wanting to be late for science with the devil herself when I run into Ms. Talty and both of our books and papers go everywhere.

“I’m so sorry!” I say and I look up and she glares at me

“You did that on purpose.”

“You’re kidding right?!”

“Does it look like I’m kidding, you little brat?!”

“Chill out, it was an accident.” I say

“Well, what are you waiting for? Pick up my stuff!”

I look at her “What?”

“Are you deaf? I said, get down on the floor and pick up my stuff or else I’m telling everyone your little secret.”

I look at her and smirk. “Go for it, Principal Tim already knows and he doesn’t care.”

“He may not care, but the board of education may care a lot.”

“Why do you hate me so much?”

“You took Jack from me.”

“No I didn’t. You’re the one who broke it up.”

“Oh so he told you?”

“Yeah he also said that you cheated on him with a 50 year old man and faked a pregnancy! Who the hell does that?!” I ask

“Don’t you dare talk to me like that you little bitch” She warns

“Or what? Are you going to hit me too? Too late honey, been there done that” I say and I look up at her

“Break up with him”

“No.”

“Did he also tell you about our agreement?”

“You’re what?”

Lisa smiles and looks at me “Oh honey.” She says and places a hand on my shoulder.

I push it off and look up at her

“Don’t oh honey me. What are you talking about?!”

“We made an agreement that if neither of us was married by the time we are 26, then we’ll marry each other.”

“That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard!”

“Sorry to tell ya, but it’s true sweetie.”

I roll my eyes and shake my head “That’s not possible.”

“Look.” She says and she holds up a document that is signed by what it looks like both her and Jack. “We both signed it.”

“You’re not taking Jack from me.”

“Watch me” She whispers and starts laughing. The bell rings and I walk to English, oh this should be a fun class.
