Shellington walked into the Launch bay, seeing Dashi looking at Barnacles and Tweak working on a gup... Barnacles was sitting by the launch bay Pool, looking at the water...
Shellington hurried to the launch bay after receiving Dashi's call. As he entered, he saw Dashi watching Barnacles and Tweak working on a GUP. Barnacles was sitting by the launch bay pool, staring into the water, lost in thought.
Shellington approached Barnacles cautiously. "Barnacles, can we talk? I know things have been tough, but we need to figure this out together."
Barnacles barely acknowledged him, his gaze fixed on the rippling water. "There's nothing to talk about, Shellington," he muttered, his voice distant.
Shellington sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. "Please, Barnacles. We care about you. We just want to help."
Dashi, noticing the tension, walked over to check on them. "Is everything alright here?" she asked, her eyes filled with concern.
Barnacles stood up, his movements unsteady. "I'm fine," he insisted, but as he took a step, he suddenly lost his balance. With a startled gasp, he fell into the launch bay pool.
"Barnacles!" Shellington and Dashi shouted in unison, rushing to the edge of the pool. Tweak quickly joined them, her eyes wide with worry.
Barnacles surfaced, coughing and sputtering. Shellington reached out to help him, pulling him to the side. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.
Barnacles nodded weakly, still trying to catch his breath. "I'm fine," he repeated, though his voice lacked conviction.
The team exchanged worried glances, realizing that Barnacles was far from fine. They knew they had to find a way to support him and uncover the truth behind the mysterious threats before it was too late.
Barnacles got up, and walked out of the Launch bay...
Barnacles got up, water dripping from his fur, and walked out of the launch bay without a word. Dashi watched him go, her concern growing. She decided to follow him, keeping a respectful distance. She saw him enter his room and close the door behind him.
The next day, the Octonauts went about their morning routines, but something felt off. Barnacles, who was usually the first or second to wake up, was nowhere to be seen. The team exchanged puzzled glances, their worry deepening.
"Has anyone seen Barnacles this morning?" Shellington asked, his voice tinged with concern.
"No, and it's not like him to sleep in," Tweak replied, frowning.
Dashi decided to check on him. She walked to Barnacles' room and knocked gently on the door. "Barnacles? Are you alright?"
There was no response. Dashi hesitated for a moment before opening the door slightly. She saw Barnacles still in bed, looking unusually pale and exhausted.
"Barnacles, it's time to get up," Dashi said softly, stepping into the room.
Barnacles stirred, blinking groggily. "What time is it?" he mumbled, his voice weak.
"It's already late morning," Dashi replied, her worry evident. "Are you feeling okay?"
Barnacles sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes. "I don't know. I just feel... off."
Dashi nodded, her concern deepening. "Let's get you to the med bay. We need to make sure you're alright."
Barnacles reluctantly agreed, and Dashi helped him to his feet. As they made their way to the med bay, the rest of the team watched with growing concern, realizing that something was seriously wrong with their former captain.
