Chapter 6

Third person POV

Gautam and Maurvi are going to Malhotra's mansion.

" Gautam, drive slow. What is wrong with you? " Maurvi said.

" I don't know, I have never felt so helpless in my life. I don't want Shaurya and Gauravi to be together but ... I don't like his way of living. He is even worse than Sahil. I don't know how this happened, I mean they always used to fight, complaining about each other... " Gautam said.

" Hmm, even I didn't ever feel that they could ever be together. Maybe I could imagine her with Shlok, but not Shaurya. They are quite mismatched, both short-tempered and impulsive. Gauravi needs someone like Mihir, or maybe Shlok, or Sujal. But what can be done now? Let's hope, everything goes well. But please be calm there, let me talk, you know that I am better in these matters. " Maurvi said. Gautam nodded reluctantly.

" Now don't look like a grumpy uncle. " Maurvi said and he rolled his eyes.

" I swear if you yell at Shaurya or misbehave with him there, I will not talk to you. " Maurvi said.

" I will try, but if he will not accept he is in a relationship with our daughter, I will punch him right there. " He said.

" You will not do such a thing or you will lose your friends. Do you remember, how Rahul and Mehul had a problem? " Maurvi said. He nodded.

At Malhotra mansion...

Sagar and Damini were waiting for Gautam and Maurvi.

" I don't know what is the matter, as Gautam sounded very serious which is quite unusual. I told him that they could come in the evening for dinner and we could have a good time, but he said that they wanted to come right away. There must be something very important and urgent. " Sagar said.

" I know... I hope everything is alright. Usually, Shaurya and Gauravi fight over something and as Gautam is very protective about his daughter, he gets angry with them, especially Shaurya. I hope it is not that. It gets very awkward. " Damini said.

" Hmmm... But both our kids have not been at home for more than a month, so how can he have a problem with them during this month? " Sagar said, Damini nodded. Just then the doorbell rang, and Damini went to open the door.

As she opened the door she saw their friends standing there.

" Good morning, it is so good to see you for so long, I think it is almost two months... " Damini said but felt a bit uneasy as Gautam was trying to smile but failed miserably, though Maurvi gave a beautiful smile to her as usual.

" Hi, Gautam! How are you? " Sagar asked with excitement.

" I don't know... " Gautam tried to smile again but his face mirrored his state of mind.

" What happened?? " Sagar got serious immediately and asked.

" Er... Umm... I don't know how to say this. " He said.

" Gautam, what is the matter?? Tell me, you are looking very tense. Tell me what happened ?" Sagar held his hand and asked.

" Sagar ji, actually we are here to talk about something serious. We want to talk about Gauravi and Shaurya. " Maurvi said.

" About Gauravi and Shaurya? What about them? Did Shaurya do anything... But he has not been in the city for more than one month. " Damini said.

" I know, but it seems that he has not told you anything till now. Even we came to know recently and we were shocked." Maurvi said.

" What has he not told us, Maurvi? Please tell us. " Sagar asked.

" They are in a relationship. " Maurvi said.
