Chapter 83 Reunions

-with Davis and Shino-

Shino put Davis on the sofa since moving around was painful.

"I'm gonna get us both a drink, and then look for Arti"

Davis nodded.

Shino glanced at Davis' sleeve before leaving the room, he could see dark stains that looked like blood. He got himself and Davis a bottle of water, he set Davis' one on the coffee table in front of him then left to see if Arti was home.
He looked in Artis, room then his own and the spare, he wasn't anywhere.

"He's not here" Shino said coming back into the room and sitting near Davis.

*He mustve hurt you a lot for you to ask for help..* Shino thought to himself as he took a few small gulps of water.

-with Ronin and Avian, this is happening at the same time as Davis and Shino-

"God I've missed home" Avian said getting comfortable on his sofa.

"Fair enough" Ronin said looking at a picture of Venus, him and Database on the wall.

"Hey, do you know how long we were down there..?"

"A few days I think, a week max" Ronin turned around facing where Avian was.

"How did Davis survive months at a time, jeezus" Avian muttered, getting up to get some food. Ronin heard him and sighed as Avian walked past him.
Ronins phone rang. He picked it up, it was Venus.

Venus: Hey Ronin
Ronin: Hey
Venus: Where did you go after the fake funeral.
Ronin: Davis had made a bad deal so we had to go after him.
Venus: oh okay.
Venus: hey Ronin?
Ronin: yeah?
Venus: Do you think Avian and the others are okay
Ronin: we went through with Plan B you know V.
Avian looked up from what he was eating.
Venus: and??
Ronin: everyone's safe. You might wanna come home.
Venus: you saved everyone?!
Ronin: I didn't do anything. Davis was actually the one who saved everyone.
Venus: I'll remember to thank him.
Ronin: and heal him too
Venus: of course he got injured. Yeah I'm on my way home right now.

Venus chuckled through his tears of joy and hung up.
Avian looked at Ronin's shocked expression on his face.

"Venus is on his way"

"Thanks"

"I'm gonna call Davis, make sure he's okay"
"You can use my office"

"Thanks" Ronin left the room to Avian's office.

-times have caught up with each other-

Ronin called Davis.

Ronin: hey kid.
Davis: hey dad..
Ronin: you alright. You still coughing a shit ton
Davis: it..calmed..down..a little
Ronin: did you end up actually going through with your end of the deal?
Davis: no... actually.
Ronin sighed in relief.
Ronin: what did you actually do with them then?
Davis: we left...them..to. the wolves
Ronin: good on you Davis. Get some rest okay you really need it. We'll tell everyone the truth tomorrow.
Davis: okay...

They hung up just as Venus ran in the door and into Avian's arms.

"Oh thank the gods you're okay"

"I'm okay, everything's okay now Stardust, and I'm not leaving again" Avian comforted him while returning the hug.

"Sorry to interrupt your reunion but can I use your computer?"

"Yeah of course. Go ahead."

Ronin sat down at Avian's desk and went on his computer. He was looking for something. He searched and searched through a lot of area codes and CCTV footage for a specific tape. He had to hack a couple of times but he eventually found what he was searching for. It took a while but it worked. Venus and Avian had stopped hugging each other to look at what Ronin was doing. They stood behind him looking at the screen.
