Lincoln's new life

Dear Diary

It is Friday, March 17th. Akari is visiting Lincoln's home so they can study. They are in the living room. "So, you have to use y=mx+b for that." Akari said. "Oh, ok..." Lincoln said as he tried figuring out the problem, putting it in the calculator, "47." Lincoln said. "Correct!" Akari said. 

Suziko then walks into the room with two cups of tea. "Thank you, Mama." Lincoln said. "Thank you, Ms. Weber." Akari said. "You're very welcome." Suziko said. They both took the drinks, and both took a sip. "So, what do you kids think?" Suziko asked. "This is wonderful!" Akari said. "Good tea making runs in this family." Lincoln said. "That's right, honey." Suziko said, "If you kids need anything, I will be in my room. Just knock on my door.". She then walked away. 

"So, Akari, I was thinking about introducing you to my mother's side of my family." Lincoln said. "Really? Like who?" Akari asked. "Well, some of my cousins, Leni, Lucy and Lily. And my grandparents." Lincoln said. "Oh, ok. I was also thinking about introducing you to my grandparents. They would like you and think you would be perfect for me." Akari said. "Really?" Lincoln asked. "Oh, yeah." Akari said. "It makes me wonder, how come your dad always glares at me every time I'm over at your house?" Lincoln asked. "He's like that with every boy I bring over. I don't know why. I guess he's just overprotective. He's extremely conservative. My mom though? She loves you. She thinks you'd be a great son-in-law." Akari said. Lincoln smiled.

In Ema's house, Albert has been with her for the past few days. He was deciding whether to move in with her or not. He enjoyed spending some time with her and he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. He was also wondering about Leni. Next year, she will be graduating. When she's gone, will Lucy and Lily stay with Ema or should Suziko take custody of them? That was another thing he had on his mind.

In Leni's room, she is writing in her diary.

Dear Diary, these past few weeks in my life have been chaotic for me. I kind of miss my family, but then I think about what happened and I hate them again. I have discovered new things about me that I never knew until now. Like finding out that I'm 1/4th Japanese, finding out about my grandma Ema, etc. 

It was wonderful seeing Lincoln again. I missed him. Seeing him at school today and yesterday was nice. Meeting new friends like Shikimori and Izumi. They are great friends to me. I do miss Jackie, Mandee, Fiona and Miguel though. But after I saw them throwing things at Lincoln when he was in his squirrel suit and making fun of him that one time, I cut off all contact. 

Lucy will have a great life living here. Lily, she won't have to worry at all living with them. She will have almost no memories there. She's only 2. I graduate next year, and I wonder if Grandma Ema will keep them, or Aunt Suziko will take custody of them. I do expect Pop-Pop and Grandma Ema to be together again and they're both old and retired now. I don't know if they can handle raising two young girls. They did it once, I don't know if they can do it again, though. Only time will tell what happens. 

In the meantime, I'm glad to be here. I'm glad Shikimori and Izumi have my back. I'm glad Lincoln has my back. I'm glad Lucy has my back. I'm glad Aunt Suziko has my back. I'm just glad to be "back" to my old self. 

Did I also notice that I feel like I'm... getting smarter? Recently, I felt like I'm not ditzy anymore. I feel... smarter... I feel like something has been holding me back while I was in Royal Woods, but in Sakura No Hana, I feel smart and intelligent. I guess it's just me though.

She sighed as she put her diary away and went to the living room. She saw Ema and Albert slow dancing together on Albert's old war radio playing classical music. This made Leni smile. Apparently, her grandparents used to slow dance a lot before they had Suziko or Rita. There was a lot of things that they had to give up on so they could raise their daughters. She then went back to her room to call Shikimori and talk to her.
