Ashlee's POV:

It was finally my birthday.

I couldn't help but smile at the thought.
I went downstairs to inhale the smell of pancakes, only to find mom in the kitchen cooking them.
"Goodmorning, honey. Happy 17th." Mom smiles, handing me a plate of pancakes with icing and sprinkles.
"Thanks." I say to her, beginning to smile. I sat across the dinner table from Dad, who was actually here for my birthday morning.
"So, are you going to Disneyland with Bradley today?" Dad asked me.
"Yes, we already made plans. We are staying at Disney for twenty four hours." I told them, and they have shocked looks on their faces.
"Twenty four hours?" Mom asked.
"Yes. Its Disney24 didn't you hear about that,Mom?" I wondered.
"Yes, but really twenty four hours?"
"Yes?" I couldn't help but laugh. Parents had such a different point of view from teens like us. Back then they couldn't survive staying at Disneyland for twenty four hours like our generation now. There hasn't been as much challenges to face back then. Now, there is. Sadly, I guess life has became harder and more struggling since there is more teen pregnancies, along with a lot more problems.
"Anyway, I forgot to ask you before you leave, but could you please go downstairs in the basement to get a giant card board box for me?" Mom asks me.
"Um, okay, sure mom." I say, weirded out by the order.
"Thanks."
I headed downstairs like she ordered, trying to find the cardboard box.
Boy, it was awfully dark in here. Where was the light?

Oh, there it was.

"Surprise! Happy Birthday!" I heard the sound of people exclaim. I even heard a party horn.
I turn around to see Bradley, and all my friends here. I even recognized Lizzie,Amber,Hanna,and Kyra.
"Oh my gosh guys. Thank you so much." I thanked them.
"It was all Bradley's idea, he woke us up at 4 in the morning to set all this up." Piper said.
"Aww, thank you Bradley," I give him a hug, then turning to my old friends,"Lizzie,Amber,Hanna,and Kyra..thank you so much for showing up."
"No problem. We arrived here yesterday just for you!" Hanna exclaimed. I hugged all of my old friends, happy to see them. Maddy even joined in too. I pull away from them, wondering how long they were staying.
"About a week. Then we're going back. Thanks to Bradley, we wouldn't have even been here if it wasn't for him. I'm jelly Ash, he's a really good boyfriend." Amber complimented me. I blush.
"He is." I go give him a kiss, then pull him in a hug. I heard aww's from everyone in the room.
"Where's Ashlee's cake?" Bradley asked. Just then, Austin came with an Oreo ice cream cake.
"Mmm.. Oreos." I murmured.
It said,"happy sweet seventeenth birthday Ashlee. We love you!" I noticed the cake had the art emoji on it too. (🎨)
"Aww. You really didn't have to do all this guys." I insisted, a big smile spreading across my face.
"You kidding? Of course we did." Peyton Clark says.
"Before you eat that cake, we need the birthday candles!" Mom calls as she goes downstairs. She put a seventeen candle on the cake, then lighting it up.
"Make a wish!" Sabrina insisted.
I looked around the room, seeing everyone look up at me. I close my eyes, and blew out my candles. My wish was made. I opened them, and winked at Bradley. He smiled at me, then turned his attention back to the cake. His mom and my mom helped cut the cake into tiny pieces, but saved a big piece for me. After eating the most delicious cake I've probably have ever tasted, then: It was gift time.
"Time for presents!" Olivia Holt exclaimed.
For the presents, what I really gotten from everyone was new clothes, jewelry,and makeup. I was surprised I got an iPod 6.
I noticed I didn't receive a gift from Bradley yet, which I remembered: He wanted to give the gift to me in private.
"Thanks for such a wonderful birthday party,guys." I smile.
"No problem,Ashlee." Sarah(Gilman) responded.
Just then,Austin got his drum set out, and before we played, he had a speech to say.
"This drum cover is for Ashlee. Hope you have the best birthday ever!" He started to play ,"The Only Reason," for the drum cover, which turned out really good. Sadly, after that, the drum cover was over. Boy,Austin was talented at playing the drums.
"Again, thank you guys for coming." I pointed out to Lizzie,Amber,Hanna,and Kyra.
"Of course,Ashlee. We missed you!" Kyra exclaimed. We hugged once again, then they left. The only ones who really stayed was Bradley,Dylan,and Kat.
"So.. We have news. Me and Dylan are dating." Kat informed, a big smile on her face.
"Really? That's great news. Congrats." I congratulated them, and the lovely couple had shared a kiss.
"Cute." Bradley complimented them.
"Have a wonderful birthday, Ashlee. You'll always be like a sister to me." Dylan gave me a friendly hug.
"Thanks,Dylan." I smile at him. It felt great at least being best friends with him. Usually he was best friends with his exes.
"Happy Birthday,Ashlee." Kat said to me, and I nod in thanks. They leave, only leaving me and Bradley downstairs to clean up the rest of the basement. After we were done cleaning,I met with Bradley upstairs. Of course, Bradley's parents and mine were planning on having a night out.
"We gotta get going,Mom." Bradley insisted.
"Alright you two lovebirds, have a good time. And Ashlee, have a wonderful birthday." Bradley's mom ordered, giving me a hug.
"Thank you,Mrs.-"
"No. Call me Mom." She corrected.
"Thank you...Mom." I smile.
"Let's get going." Bradley nudged my shoulder. He had a hold of my hand as we walked out, and opened the car door for me.
"For the birthday princess." Bradley laughs.
"Well thank you, my prince." I laugh too.
Bradley got in, and started to play 5SOS music from his phone. The song,"If You Don't Know," starts playing, and I begin to almost cry.
"I love this song,Bradley." I cried.
"I knew you would love it if I played this song." Bradley grinned. I couldn't help but sing along to the lyrics. There was this certain part that always reminded me of Bradley. Almost two years ago I signed up for this Bradley contest. Luckily for me, I actually won. It was a blue, buttoned up shirt Bradley wore under his letterman's jacket for Pants On Fire. Boy, I was so happy I won it. Still do this day I have it, and Bradley probably doesn't even know about it. Funny,right?
As Bradley parked in the parking lot at Disneyland, my whole body filled with excitement.
