Ashlee's POV:
That morning I had decided to upload another video of me singing, "Everything Has Changed," by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. It was such a good song; one of my favorites. It had took me a while to learn the cords for it, but after a while, I had gotten the hang of it. New Year's Day was in only a few more days. Bradley and I had told every single one of our friends where we'd be for New Year's, making us decide we'd have an early New Year's party in Austin's basement. I decided to help decorate for the party along with Bradley,Piper, and Austin. We put up streamers, New Year's themed balloons, set the snacks on the tables, and had other party stuff out too. At around Five Thirty, we were finished with setting up the party.
"Looks great," Bradley commented, smiling.
"It does." I agreed.
"Doesn't start for another hour, though so.." Piper said, looking over at me. Piper and I had planned to both put on really cute outfits for Bradley and Austin.
"Looks like something's planned between you two, now spill." Austin insisted.
"Oh, nothing. How about we just say the plan has something with you in it?" Piper flirted towards Austin hugging him.
"Yeah. Something..special." I added, holding Bradley.
"Alright, alright. We'll go a long with this,'plan' you two have." Bradley says softly, smirking. Boy,I loved that smirk.
After decorating for the party,Piper and I gotten ready with Lauren North in her room upstairs.
"So,you excited for New York,Ashlee?" Lauren asked me, doing her makeup. I was already done with mine, I was just waiting for Piper and Lauren.
"Yeah,I am." I smiled. To be honest, this was probably one of the first times I had talked to Lauren, except maybe once or twice at Bradley's birthday party.
"That's good. I wish I had a boyfriend who'd take me out to trips like yours." Lauren sighed.
"You'll get one, don't worry. I know you will,Lauren." I promised her, and she lets out a smile on her face.
"Thanks Ashlee." Finally, they were done with putting on their makeup. I already heard music blasting downstairs, and I instantly thought:

The party just started.

Before I went down, I had gotten really nervous. I don't know why, but I just did. Even if all my friends were there.
"Aww,Ashlee. You look pale." Piper pointed out.
"Just nervous," I had admitted.
"You always get nervous, don't you? Don't worry, you'll be fine. You always are!" Piper reassured.
"Thanks." I smiled, looking down at my outfit. I had put on a red dress with straps, and a black cardigan over it. Usually, I wasn't a fan of showing off outfits too much unlike other girls at parties. When I had seen Bradley with his friends, I tapped his back, making him turn around.
"Ashlee! You look beautiful." Bradley smiled, giving me a kiss.
"Thank you. You look handsome yourself." I complimented.
"Thank you." Bradley replied. When we went to our group of friends,Bradley had his arm wrapped around my waist the entire time when we were sitting down on the couch.
"How long will you be in New York for?" Maddy wondered, cuddling with Jake.
"For a few days." I had answered her.
"Sounds like fun." Jake smiles, then giving Maddy a kiss.
"It is." Bradley agreed, looking into my eyes. He kisses me too, then looks back into my eyes.
"Let's come out on the porch." Bradley says, taking a hold of my hand. He had lead me outside to the porch like he promised, so we could have a private conversation. He had took a hold of my hands, looking into my eyes again.
"Your eyes look beautiful tonight. I mean, I see my own reflection in them. That's one of the beautiful things I love about you." Bradley complimented, and I couldn't help but blush. Been dating for half a year and I was still blushing around Bradley.
"Your eyes are beautiful too." I complimented him. He gave me a nose kiss, then an actual kiss.
We gotten back in, then that's when someone had bumped into me, their drink pouring onto my dress.
"Um,can you like watch out?" He insisted, almost pushy with me.
"Um, how about you watch out?" Bradley had said protectively, almost wanting to punch him.
"How about you-"
"Hey.. dude. Bradley's cool, now chill." Austin insisted.
"Fine." The person replied harshly, then pushing his way through crowds.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Oh, that's Rodney. He's kind of a jerk, but Peyton(Clark) invited him." Austin answered, looking back over to where Rodney had went.
"Kind of? That guy was worse than a jerk. He was a... Yeah. You could finish that sentence." Bradley said.
"Well, don't worry about him anyway. It's not like you'll see him again." Austin said.
"Right." I agreed. Just then, it was time for a little karaoke. I heard Austin was doing a drum cover, playing a cover of Uptown Funk.
Before he started, he had gotten up the mic to say something.
"I would like to dedicate this song to Bradley and Ashlee. They are going to be leaving in a few days, and just want to thank them for always supporting me. Everyone cheer for Bradlee!" Everyone had cheered when he started playing, the crowd going wild and crazy. Boy, he sure was amazing.
"Isn't he good?" Bradley asked me, trying to speak loudly over the roaring of the crowds. All I did was nodded in response, focusing on cheering for Austin. I had always remembered watching Austin's drum covers on YouTube, thinking instantly he was good. It also had made me want to play the drums, but I never really got to that talent. When Austin was finished with the cover, Piper had insisted for me to do a cover myself.
"I don't want to steal the spotlight from Aust-" That's when Bradley started to cheer for me.
"Ashlee! Ashlee!" Everyone was cheering. I couldn't help but be influenced by the crowds, so I had gotten up there to think of a good song to cover.
"Austin, can you play She Looks So Perfect very well?" I asked.
"Yeah, I can! It's easy!" Austin exclaimed, getting his drums ready. He had requested a few guitar players to come up on stage so that way we could perform,"She Looks So Perfect," by 5SOS.
When I gotten ready to perform, I was nervous.
"Hi,um, I'm Ashlee, obviously, and we are going to do a cover of She Looks So Perfect, but my version. I hope you like it." I had said, making everyone cheer louder. As I tried to look over for Bradley, I had noticed he was staring up at me,smiling. Of course, he was supporting me through the beginning of the performance. Then thats when I started singing.
