Setting Free
Haiku by Ivy Y. Fule
Sun is setting down,
It's time to get hold of break,
To set free our minds.
From the author:
The essence of the poem lies in portraying the sunset as a poignant reminder of the promise of a new day, a beacon of hope. It signifies a pledge of renewal, urging us to grant ourselves respite without succumbing to stress or overthinking. The captivating hues and beauty that grace our vision serve as a testament to our achievements, prompting us to rest and unburden our minds from the weight they bear.
This realization emphasizes the importance of holding onto hope, even in challenging times. The sunset becomes a symbolic marker, signifying the conclusion of the day and urging us to pause, allowing for a mental reset. As we prepare to face a new dawn, this interlude ensures we awaken with renewed energy and determination to confront the day ahead.
