"Missing her?"
"No."
"Hmm...... it's okay I guess. We fight
with our partner's but we cannot stretch it, right?"
"I don't know what to say!" Raman chose to ignore this particular topic knowing well he has no words to answer when it comes on Ishita. Samaira knows about his and Ishita but just in the bits and pieces rest he don't want to share with her. From the day he arrived Zurich, he is just mad on his wife and according to him he had so many reasons to be pissed on her. Whatever has happened today is the consequences of the decision she took ignoring his warnings. She is not a wife he always wished, a momentary anger is enough to destroy your life. Raman never realised same when he started to give Samaira space in his personal life.
"I am not stretching it, I just realised we are poles apart." Raman replied, keeping an empty cup back. "Leave it! You tell me how's your husband doing now?"
"Better! That's all I can say. Thanks for helping me with the bills Raman otherwise I don't know what would I have done." Samaira bowed down her head, Raman gave a light but assuring squeeze on her shoulder and retreat his hand back.
"You shouldn't work here Samaira, you're well qualified to do a job."
"I have no job experiences, firms are not ready to hire me without any experience." Raman drew a sharp breath looking at his friend fallen face before he averted his eyes away from her.
"You could have wait."
"I have given my resume in the agency but all I got random jobs. I was in the desparate need of the money hence I picked whatever job I got. My parents were ready to help me but I don't want to burden them with my responsibility."
"But why you didn't worked Samaira?"
"It was never my choice Raman, I never wanted to work. All I wished to get marry once I finish my degree and look after my family and Vikram was one such man I wish to have as my life partner."
Raman remained mum looking nowhere particular while listening to Samaira, deep in his heart even he wished to have such wife who would loved to look after him and his family, maybe the complications arised today would be lessened. Often we fail to see our own faults, Raman Kumar Bhalla is one of such perosns who prefer to put entire blame on his wife rather than analysing his own faults.
"You did right by choosing your husband over anything and don't worry about the job. I will do something for you and yes I will try to do something for Vikram treatment as well." Raman squeezed Samaira shoulder and they shared a smile. An anger blinded Raman Kumar Bhalla started to assume Samaira as a perfect woman to be someone's wife clearly fail to see her intentions she was holding behind approaching him.
Samaira Khanna, always been ambitious and opportunist was done with her bankrupt husband who is also partially paralysed now. Raman Kumar Bhalla was just an ordinary name in her college but that man was never ordinary for her. There was something about him which always attracted her, especially his rare onyx grey orbs, it was not wrong to say Samaira had a huge attraction towards Raman Kumar Bhalla but she had no guts to approach him. There were various reasons why she never approached him, she knew Raman belonged from middle class family and he would never be able to provide her the luxury and comfort she wishes. Her attraction towards Raman Kumar Bhalla was a mere flame which never picked but it never died as well. The undying flame of crush turned into obsession for Samaira Khanna and this time she was adamant to turn this flame into fire.
