Jennie froze and stopped in her tracks when she heard Lisa's voice.

It was strange to hear it because the time hadn't even struck 5 a.m. Lisa was supposed to be still sleeping soundly. The only people that should be awake already are the people that have business to do early in the morning and Lisa didn't belong to that group.

Jennie carefully walked towards the ajar door and peeked outside to check if she was right in assuming that Lisa was already awake.

She frowned when she saw Lisa and Mino just outside the front door. It seemed like Lisa ran to catch up with Mino as she tried to catch her breath while standing in front of him.

While Mino, who was probably preparing to leave and just waiting for Jennie, Leo, and Luca, was also surprised to find Lisa.

"Lisa." He called, surprised as his brows arched up.

Jennie frowned. She couldn't help but overthink the scene she was witnessing. Her mind couldn't help but think of possible reasons why Lisa would wake up this early and meet with Mino.

Are they perhaps in a secret relationship?

Jennie shook her head to get that thought out of her head. She refused to believe it. She refused to admit that it was possible. Her mind tried to search for reasons why that would never be possible.

Mino isn't interested in girls. That was the reason why he was here in the first place. So there was no way she would have a secret relationship with Lisa.

Jennie is sure trying so hard to convince herself.

The brunette girl gets back to her senses when she hears Mino speak again.

"Is there any problem, Lisa? Do you need something?" Mino asked curiously.

Lisa looked nervous for some reason. Her other hand was hiding behind her back while the other was tightly gripping the sides of her dress. She first took a deep breath before she finally spills, "I have a favor to ask."

Mino nodded his head, encouraging Lisa to continue.

A small sad smile made its way to Lisa's lips before she continued, "Actually, today was my father's birthday."

Lisa's hand that was previously on her back moved to her front, holding something.

Jennie squinted her eyes to get a better look at it. One of her brows arched in confusion when she saw that it was paper.

"I wrote a letter that was addressed to my father because I knew that he was worried about me. After all, it's been almost 9 months since I last saw him. I just wanted to assure him that I was fine and doing well. A-And I really want to ask you if you perhaps have spare time. Could you perhaps hand this to him?"

Lisa lifted her hand that was holding the letter as she looked at Mino.

Mino didn't say anything and just stared at Lisa for several seconds.

"Y-You can read it if you perhaps doubt my intention." Lisa said again, praying so hard that Mino would be willing to help her.
