August

"Momma ya really okay with this?"

"Why not August? She's a grown woman and has been focused on these girls all her life. Let her live a little son."

Letting out a sigh, she was right. Though it's weird knowing Chandra and Jamal were dating, anyone could see that she was happy.

"Son, you know Mel would want her to be happy and she is."

"I want her to be happy too but its just weird to me."

"Why? Because she's with Misty's ex?"

"Yes. Doesn't that bother you?"

"Why should it? Misty was the one who hooked them up. Clearly there aren't any feelings there between the both of them so why should it be bothering you."

"Ion know, but she's happy so I guess that's what matters."

"Exactly. Now about this wedding thats a month away."

"What about it?" I smiled.

"Are you ready for it?"

"I've been ready since we began talking."

"Well look at that." She teased. "My baby isn't a baby anymore."

"Thanks momma." I laughed.

"Where is she by the way?"

"She upstairs laying down."

"Is she ok?"

"She got a slight back ache but she good."

"Okay. Just making sure. Anyway, let me leave you to it. I love you and I'll see you soon."

"Love ya too momma."

Taking the sandwich I had initially made for her, I went to her room only to see her laying on her belly.

"Baybeh!"

"Yes?"

"I made you something to eat."

"Ramen?"

"No." I laughed.

"I don't want it if it isn't ramen."

"Misty quit playing and come eat ya sandwich." I laughed.

"Shut up and come rub my back for me."

"Ya gonna eat afterwards?"

"Yes Aug." She sighed.

Placing the plate down, I sat next to her and messaged her back like she asked. Lately her back been acting up a lot and it was beginning to bother me.

"That feels so good."

"Yeah?"

"Mhmm."

"Is it that time of the month?"
