"Ready for this trip?" I kissed her on the back of her neck.
"Babe?" She flinched as she was startled.
"I know damn well you heard me walk into this room."
"Now I didn't. Stop sneaking up on me."
"It ain't sneaking unless you hiding something."
"Well I'm not." She turned to walk off.
"You're lying. What are you hiding?"
"Nothing. Are you finishes packing?"
"Yes I am and I'm waiting on you to wish me a happy birthday."
"Oh wait? That's today?" She turned to me.
"You must have lost your mind." I stared at her.
"What today is?" She pulled out her phone. "Oh shit." She looked up at me with her mouth open.
"Misty! I know you're not serious?"
"Babe I'm so sorry." She approached me.
"Nah. Ion wanna hear that shit. How you gonna forget its my birthday. Yours is in three damn days!"
"I know and I'm sorry to say this, but Happy Birthday." She smiled as she pulled out a gift from behind her back.
"How the hell?"
"You really thought I would have forgotten."
"You convinced me." I shook my head.
"Never babe." She kissed me.
"Thank ya sweetface."
Opening the bag, I took out the black box. When I saw the logo on it, I looked at her.
"You got Rolex money ma?" I smirked.
"I got a lah something. I mean its not like your others but."
"I love it either way."

"Let's go see what maw made for breakfast." I smiles as I put it on.
Taking her bag, she left the room with it. Like the last time we celebrated our birthdays, we decided to take a trip. We were both under some stress and needed to relax so it was only right.
"Aye peanut head! Happy Birthday."
"Thanks maw." I laughed.
"May God continue to bless you." She hugged and kissed me on my cheek.
