Saying 'What's that got to do with you', was indeed childish, and Wong Xue Guo, who liked being seen as a mature person, would never say that even if it would be fun doing so.

Kang Xunsu slowly eased the tight grip on his crutch and continue to remain silent and totally leaving everything to her since she did say not to stop her. Plus, it was not that he completely understood what they were saying.

"Yes. Your church and Duljjae's mall are known to be enemies that are afraid of making the first move."

"As if. That rapist is just a coward," Woojin sneered. "You are a woman. Aren't you afraid?"

Wong Xue Guo chuckled, looking at Woojin as if he was being silly. "May I ask who was the one that strangled you just now?"

The guard immediately closed the door and locked it, preventing Woojin's any chance of chasing after her.

"Sorry, but you might need to replace a new handcuff for the guy inside," Kang Xunsu informed the guard. The little princess was lucky that Woojin's strength from being an Awaken failed to completely break him out from his handcuff during the strangulation moment.

"Again? I will need to get one. Mind waiting for me?"

"Sure," Kang Xunsu agreed lazily.

"Oh, Woojin should have super strength as an Awaken," Wong Xue Guo finally realized. "Strange, he did not stop me when I tossed him over the railing before, and also when I strangled him just now."

As one of the witnesses, Beom Seok was forced to retell what happened in the church by the Wong couple. Kang Xunsu was not there when Beom Seok shared his story, but L.L kindly shared the incident with him when he was in a better mind to listen.

"My princess, you have grown up," Kang Xunsu congratulated solemnly as if she had done a great achievement.

"I'm eighteen," Wong Xue Guo said as if it was obvious she would be. But that does not answer why Woojin does not seem to be strong. "Anyway, what happened to Duljjae's team? Did they arrive in time to help us?"

"The greedy Duljjae wants to take the opportunity to end us too when we fought with the church. But he still failed," Kang Xunsu remarked in disdain and rested his back against the wall, letting his weight be supported by it.

"You killed him?"

"Lan Yan thinks he will be useful after whipping him into shape."

Oh, I really want to be a fly on the wall to see that.

"How about Seonmi and her friends?"

"Back to their school maybe?" Kang Xunsu shrugged uncaringly. After they checked that the other children had nothing to do with the church, they let them go, ignoring their questions on what they wanted to do to Woojin and Teacher Jang.

They fell silent when an unfamiliar person walked toward them, his eyes on Wong Xue Guo. It was clear he was either here for her, or he was a person that likes to stare at people.

"Mr Chin," Kang Xunsu greeted the handsome man in the Acacia language, at the same time informing the little princess of his identity.

Discreetly straightening her dress, she gave Chin Chun a polite nod as she greeted similarly in Acacia language, "Hello, Mr Chin."

"You may call me 'elder brother'."

Alas, she was still unclear whether her mother accepted Chin Chun as her adopted son or not, but she definitely should not disregard him. With a smile, she obediently greeted, "Elder brother."

Chin Chun's tall and slender frame truly fit his grey overcoat. If she was told he was actually her father's illegitimate son, she would have believed it even if they do not share similar physical features. Instead, it was the dangerous and intimidating bearing that immediately betrayed them to be the similar type of people.

The Big Gangster Boss.

Charles Wong was the 'hands on' type of boss that does not mind dirtying his hands to get things done. Chin Chun, on the other hand, gave Wong Xue Guo the assumption of the 'behind the scenes' big boss with a sinister mind that manipulated and controlled everything behind the force.

The former boss type have strong, oppressive looks that use his strength to silence his enemies, while the latter type boss has handsome, seductive looks that lure one willingly onto his trap.

Chin Chun took out a red velvet box from his pocket and held it out to her. "This is a meeting gift for finally meeting my younger sister for the first time. It is regrettable that I have not had the opportunity to meet you all these years, with me unable to have the time to visit Marigold."

"Elder brother is too courteous to even prepare a gift for me, when I had not done the same."

"It is appropriate for me to give you a gift as an elder. This is just a small gift, you can accept it with ease."

As Chin Chun had already said it that way, it would be impolite of her to reject the gift. Like most innocent children, when she heard she would receive a gift, naturally she would be happy and wanted to grab it from Chin Chun's hands as soon as possible. But with Suzie Yap's training, she would mask her enthusiasm and politely decline gifts at least once. Of course, she would only accept it if the giver had no problems and the present would not put her parents in trouble.

Putting on a shy facade, Wong Xue Guo accepted the gift. "Thank you, elder brother."

Judging from the weight alone, she crossed out accessories and clothing from her mind. It was quite heavy, but still much lighter than a handgun. She had thought that was the end of it, until Chin Chun said, "Have a look at it. If you dislike it, I will get something you like."

One look at his face, she could see he was quite serious, unless he had a hella good poker face she could not pierce through.

"There is no way I would dislike what my elder brother gave me," Wong Xue Guo replied with a sweet and earnest expression.

Chin Chun looked pleased with her words. "But I do want to see what my younger sister's expression will be after seeing my gift."

That was just pushing me!

With a serene smile, she promised herself that she would react appropriately once she saw her gift and pushed open the box.

The first thing that came into her mind when she saw the metal knuckle was that it would be useful. It would protect her bare fist when it comes to punching zombies or annoying people. Carrying it around was also not energy consuming and would be quite good to show it around to threaten people.

It was only after she had thought those did she cried in despair in her heart over how unlady-like she was quickly becoming.

During the times when she was not allowed to wear anything but pretty dresses, she always wanted to have a chance to wear pants and boots to run around. But now that she finally gets to wear pants every day, she started to miss wearing her pretty dresses.

Aish, no wonder the sentence, 'humans are so difficult to please' was so famous!

She came back to her senses quickly when she caught Kang Xunsu's attempt to stop his laughter over her welcoming gift.

Looking away from the metal knuckles, her eyes met Chin Chun's gaze that was intensely asking what she thought about his present. She could only see one eye as his other eye was covered by his hair long enough to frame his face. His black hair was contrasting well with his fair skin that was not exposed to the sun often.

His chin-length hair added some gentleness and mystery to him, but matched with his slightly introverted personality, he had the impression of someone that was dangerous if provoked. And possibly grudgeful too.

Wong Xue Guo was not shy in labelling Chin Chun straight out of the bat with just his appearance alone.
