(Role play you say? Hmmmm *slowly putting on Wizard hat while digging out dice*)
(Apologies to those who don't understand D&D)

(Y/c/n) = your character name

"I wanna smash the door down!" Susie barked, grinning madly as she smacked her fists to the table, cups of juice and dice rattling slightly. You puffed out your cheeks in slight frustration as your dice tower toppled over.
"Roll a Strength check." Kris replied, a hidden smile forming behind his hands as he watched Susie's d20 roll.
"..."
"You gotta say it!" Noelle giggled, seeing Susie's dice from her spot.
"Nat 1..." Susie huffed, crossing her arms.
Kris nodded, going poker face once again as he gave the narrative. "Susanna, you rush forward and slam your shoulder into the door, but it does not budge and you take... two points of bludgeoning damage."
"Ughhh..." Susie grumbled as she marked the damage down on her sheet.
"Can I cast Detect Magic to see if the door of magically sealed?" Noelle piped up, grinning widely and hopeful.
"You can."
It was a regular Friday afternoon for you four, playing D&D at home and traversing the perilous world of Darkonia, your party having to fight creatures of darkness to bring back the light.
Sometimes you wondered where Kris got such an interesting idea.
"Nina, you don't find any magical properties around or within the door." Kris replied to Noelle, causing the deer monster to hum in thought.
"There's nothing magical about the door to keep it locked." Noelle spoke in character, turning to your and Susie.
"Then why couldn't I break it down?!" Susie replied, in character as well.
"I'm gonna try to unlock the door with my Thieves' Tools." You piped up, rolling when your brother gave you the affirmative. "Natural 20."
"Oh come on!!!" Susie barked, Noelle giggling along.
"You manage to unlock the door in just under a minute, and it quietly creaks open."
"(Y/c/n), how'd you do that?!" Susie, Susanna, exclaimed.
"You can't brute force everything, Susanna!" You chirped in character, keeping up the game of letting Susanna believe your character had magically lock abilities instead of knowing you were merely using a lock pick.
"Let's go inside, shall we?" Noelle, as Nina, replied, taking the initiative of entering the room first.
"Looks like that'll be where we wrap up todays session." Kris piped up, looking up at the clock to see it was getting late.
You, Susie, and Noelle all let out playful cries of anguish, just as Toriel entered with a tray of fresh juice and freshly baked pies.
"If it's alright with your parents, Susie and Noelle, you can stay the night so you all can have a session tomorrow." Your mother smiled warmly, taking old glasses and various snack wrappers away from you all.
"Really?! Thank you so much, Miss Toriel!" Noelle cheered, Susie nodding along as she stuffed pie into her mouth.
As you and your friends are pie and spoke about things that had happened in that session, and all had tidied up the kitchen table, Kris neatly setting all the necessary papers for the campaign into his folder before carrying it off to his room. Meanwhile, you got pillows and blankets together for Susie and Noelle after they got the permission from their parents to stay.

"Hey Kris?" You piped up as you all were settled down watching a movie. Noelle and Susie had fallen asleep by now, so it was just you and Kris awake.
"Hm?"
"Where'd you get the idea for the campaign? It sounds really interesting!"
Kris hummed again, going quiet.
You'd asked this question before, usually being told it was secret, but still you were determined to get an answer eventually.
Kris smiled then. "Still a secret,"
You began to pout again, but was surprised as Kris kept speaking.
"so you can't tell Susie or Noelle, okay?"
You rapidly nodded, giving Kris your full attention.
"I've been there before."
"You've been to Darkonia?!" You whisper exclaimed, eyes wide and sparkling.
Kris grinned and nodded. "Gotta keep the secret with me though, promise?"
"I promise!"

From across the living room, Susie and Noelle, who were still awake, both knowingly smiled, opting to continue acting oblivious to Kris' obvious campaign setting.
