Y/N's POV, 2021

I've always wished for a better life, y'know? Well, not always... but the last few years definitely- it was my twenty third birthday a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't adjusted to having a birthday without my parents.

They died when I was fifteen, it was tough, I've been living with my aunt since in Manhattan, it felt like my world was ending when I lost my parents. I've always relied on music to get through my life and the stresses it brings, but I've relied on it a whole lot more since losing my mom and dad.

My main source of comfort was Mötley Crüe, their music was such a massive deal for me, I had so much love and respect for them but my heart was owned by Nikki Sixx.

I feel for him and feel for his past, he's been through a lot, more than he deserved and I now know in a way how he felt when he was abandoned by his dad and shunned by his mother, it hurts to lose parents no matter what context it's in.

Right now I was just in my bedroom in my aunts house listening to 'Theatre Of Pain' on vinyl, I was just sat on my bed with my eyes closed listening to Vince sing, wishing I could live a better life, one that can make me feel better because I need that.

Half way through the song though, I felt something happen, it was hard to explain, but I suddenly felt a wind hit me and I heard sounds, people talking, distant cars driving and my music stopped, my eyebrows furrowed and I opened my eyes to see what the fuck was going on.

When I did this I had a shock of a lifetime, I was outside, outside in the middle of the road- how the fuck? What the fuck?

My eyes widened and I froze, where the hell am I? I looked around and recognized the surroundings from somewhere but couldn't quite place where, that question was answered though when I saw a building I'd seen so much on video, it was the Rainbow... holy shit, I was in Los Angeles.

My attention was then turned the cars around, they were all old, like '80's antique... but they looked new... before I could comprehend this any further I came aware of the fact I was stood in the middle of the road and that a car was now speeding towards me, I forgot how to move- please don't say I'm going to die within seconds of me going of what looks like me going back in time.

Just as I was preparing to die I then suddenly felt someone grab me and roughly pull me out of the path of the car and onto the sidewalk, I watched the car go past and let out a sigh of relief that someone had saved me.

"Jesus, that guy wasn't gonna slow down for shit, are you okay?" The person who'd saved me spoke.

"Yeah, yeah... I'm fine, thank-" I start as I instinctively looked at the person who'd saved me and it was none other than Nikki Sixx... like early eighties, Nikki fucking Sixx.
