14. Shopping spree and a shocking spree

They all are so happy.

She blushed hearing me and hit my arm, shaking me out of my thoughts. I scrunched my nose at her confused.

I said settling down my Rajjo.

Simi asked checking my temperature with the back of her hand.

I was angry and frustrated.

I made my way towards the kitchen, where Ms.Ruby was going through my refrigerator.

"How did you both enter inside?"
I huffed and finally asked them.

"Don't you have some fruits, Nivi.
Fridge is full of such unhealthy foods."
Ruby asked.

You gave her at the time of college event. Remember?

So she could come and get your lazy ass off the bed."

"You guys should have informed me.

I explained, as we made our way back to the bedroom.

Simi was cleaning the litter I had made.

I joked taking the clothes from her hands.
Simi rolled her eyes.

"I got all these for you.
You were so busy, so I thought I should help you out.

You don't even spend any more time with us.
Did you forget I will be away after a few weeks."
Simi expressed with tears in her eyes.

Ofcourse my ignorance will affect her.

I apologized holding her shoulders, I am definitely not doing that again.

Ruby said loudly, knowing about my weakness.

I left Simi instantly and hugged Ruby instead.

We got in a group hug.
And moved to the real love of my life. My food.
We began eating.

"Where is Nimi?"
I asked.

"She is accompanying mothers' for their shopping. You know her choice is the best.
We were together, but we had decided to come here.
So she had to go back, because we were not going to."
I shook my head at their silliness.

"So,what is the progress?"
I was absent for so long.
So I must catch up.

"Well, things are going as planned. Bookings are done.
Shopping is almost complete, without just the last minute things.
Our dresses are ready. Menu is final. And Invitations are finalizing too."
Woah, they are fast.

"And only the wedding is left, you mean.
Why not do that already."
I said laughingly.

Simi narrowed her eyes at me.
And Ruby added fuel to the fire.
"Ofcourse you would say that, do you even know how stressful it has been, I have got my skin dull and stretched."
