I'm so sorry this took so long!! Writer's block hit again, I guess. Anyways, this chappie is VERY important, as you will see near the end (heehehheheheheheh XD). If you guys have any feedback or comments please please please post them! Any plotholes, out of character moments, lore breaches etc, I want to know! Lastly, I apologise in advance if my romantic epiphanies are poorly written lol. Happy reading!

Warning in advance: some sexual references in this chappie (not between y/n and Ahsoka sadly) but it's all pretty safe though

When y/n said they would be eating the best fried nuna legs in the galaxy, Ahsoka hadn't expected to chase a group of senator abducting terrorists across Coruscant.

"Heads!" she called out as one of the figures turned around in his speeder and fired a volley of blaster bolts, aiming at a group of civilians to try and slow down the Jedi.

"I've got them," y/n replied, Force pushing the panicking people out of the way. Most of the shots missed though, hitting the wall of an unfortunate corner store. "Sorry, kidnapper business!" he said over his shoulder as the owner trudged out, shaking his fist.

Their boots on the uneven stone tiled alleys rang through the air. Keeping her breath steady, Ahsoka pushed harder and sprinted faster. Her whole body worked hard to propel her forwards, steadily gaining on the fleeing criminals. The constant minutes of high intensity running was slowly beginning to take its toll on her, and she had to call on the Force for aid.

Ahead, the two figures kept looking back and forth, obviously worried about how much closer the two were getting with each glance. The speeders they were riding, although moving at a faster rate than y/n and Ahsoka could run, were less than easy to manipulate in the tight spaces of the Coruscant's Underworld passages.

The corners of the Togruta's eyes became a blur as she used a spurt of Force speed. It was actually, however, more like everything was slowing down around her, giving her more time to react and think. Looking around, Ahsoka observed her surroundings for a chance to use the environment to their advantage.

Fluorescent light after fluorescent light lined the street, walled by a dull brown-grey procession of tall buildings that stretched up until it met the next level of the Underworld. Up ahead, a bright aqua advertisement screen was suspended above the middle of the lane. Already, the civilians in the vicinity were scrambling off the street as they saw the two swiftly approaching speeders.

"I'm going to rip the screen down," Ahsoka told y/n, "And block their path or at least stop the vehicles. If we pursue on foot, we'll definitely be able to catch up to them."

He raised a brow. "It'll be a lot of damages and stuff."

"Better than Senator Tundra Dowmeia getting abducted."

Nodding, y/n turned his attention back to the speeders ahead, drawing his lightsaber from his belt and igniting the blades. A scarlet tinged wisp trailed after him and reflected his movements, like an obscuring ruby fog.

Ahsoka skidded to a stop, sweat beginning to form from the exertion, and closed her eyes. Legs in a wide stance, she braced herself and extended both her hands towards the screen. Sensing for the perfect moment to time the execution just right, she waited.

A few seconds later, with a soft grunt, she made a pushing motion with her hands and in response, a mighty creak and snap of cables filled the air. The screen was wrenched out from the overpass and crashed down on the street a few metres in front of the escaping criminals.

Unable to stop in time, both of the vehicles rammed straight into the spark spluttering heap of hardware.

One of the figures scrambled to their feet, grabbed the bundle that was the Quarren senator, and went running. y/n glanced over his shoulder at Ahsoka and offered her a grin before dashing after them.
