Ahsoka and y/n had been versing each other at Dejarik for an hour, patiently waiting for Aayla to arrive. They had been equally skilled at first, but soon she had made up a joke that was really getting under his skin, causing his patience and strategic thinking to decline.

"Alright. Now the resemblance is really visible," she chuckled, watching his piece travel forward a square. y/n thought that at last she had forgotten about it, but now she was bringing it up again, just as he was making a move.

"For the last time I do not look like a K'lor'slug!" he whined in annoyance, scowling as he waited for the Togruta to act.

Ahsoka cocked her head to look at him, his face lit up slightly by the blue light from the hologram. "Nah, come on. There's an obvious similarity with the mouth," she smirked before attacking his Kintan Strider.

y/n narrowed his eyes and groaned. At this point she was just making fun of him now. The K'lor'slug was hideous and worm like in appearance. Its mouth was a circular void ringed with concentric rows of razor sharp fangs. He bared his perfectly normal human teeth at her and rolled his eyes.

Perfect. Ahsoka's move had left her Monnok in the perfect place to attack. It was already weak with only one health point left. Quickly scanning the rest of the board y/n smirked and struck. To spite her, he did it with the K'lor'slug.

"And 'I' just defeated your lousy Monnok." With a self satisfied grin he leaned back against the wall, quite sure that at last he could win another game. The score was quite embarrassing in his favour, two to eight.

Ahsoka smiled coyly. "So you murdered a Dejarik piece. How admirable," she said, before using a special ability on her Ng'ok.

A few minutes of concentrated quiet between them, except for the patter of feet and shout from around them. The black market was still in disarray. The silence made y/n feel increasingly uncomfortable, usually that meant the Togruta had a killer plan that would end in his defeat again.

But did it really matter? He gave a little sigh. They were two Jedi Padawans lounging on the floor of a black market alleyway, playing Dejarik during a blackout, after completing a mission. y/n shook his head and smiled slightly. No, it didn't matter. He would only continue their game and teasing for the sake of it.

"Hang on," he said, breaking the silence.

"What? Before you say anything, I didn't cheat."

"I wasn't gonna say that," y/n shook his head, perplexed. "But now I'm pretty much convinced you have."

"No, I definitely didn't, I swear to the Force. Just thought you were going to say that because you were sad you're loosing."

He raised an eyebrow. "Come on Stripey. Is that really what you think of me?" y/n gave a chuckle. "It's just that I finally sense Master Secura."

At that exact moment, the silhouette of a Twi'lek appeared at the end of the alley. Aayla jogged up to them, glancing at the holographic game with a smirk. "You got him, Ahsoka. y/n's a sucker at Dejarik."

"Hey!" he grumbled, putting a hand to his heart in mock offence.

His Master smiled and chuckled. "Sorry I took so long, but I've got three pieces of good news. Number one, I located Aurra Sing's ship on my search and put a tracker on it. Although she escaped on it already, we can still keep an eye on where she's going and catch her after."

"Number two, I convinced the Council to spare a few battalions of the 327th. They've sealed all the entrances and are putting a stop to the Oba Diah black market." Suddenly the lights flashed back on, making them all shield their eyes from the sudden brightness. "And Bly's fixed the mood lighting. Good man."
