Taehyung did not speak much throughout their drive back to their dorm. His teeth still chattered even though Jungkook had turned on the heater. Well, he was wet and in the rain for too long. He just replied to Jungkook's 'Are you okay?' with a nod and his roommate knows that he is definitely not okay.
When they reach the dorm building, Jungkook parks his car and helps Taehyung get out of it and walk to their room. When the get inside the room, Jungkook sighs heavily.
He quickly locks the door and makes Taehyung sit on his bed. "Tae, I need you to get changed into comfortable, dry clothes, okay?" He says, gently cupping his cheeks to get his attention.
The scene has traumatised Taehyung. He has always hated violence. He has witnessed a lot of violence in his life and that has surely left an impact on him. Now seeing Jimin, a seemingly cute boy, shooting a person and ordering people around scared the shit out of him.
"Okay." Taehyung whispers. Jungkook nods and walks over to Taehyung's cupboard. He takes out a hoodie and trousers for his roommate.
He walks back to the shivering boy as he wants him to change his clothes as soon as possible. He doesn't want the other getting sick but when he reaches the bed, he sees the blue haired boy laying down on the mattress. His arms are crossed across his chest and legs are curled in such a way that they touch his hands that are on his chest. He looks like a ball. What concerns Jungkook more is that he is shivering badly and the chatter of his teeth are audible. His eyes are squeezed shut and he is still wet.
Jungkook puts Taehyung's clothes away and quickly climbs on the bed. He is now sitting next to the blue haired boy. He touches his hand, wanting to shake him so that he pays attention to him but he is shocked when he realises how badly Taehyung is freezing. Yes, Jungkook carried him but he did not realise how cold Taehyung was because he was wet himself. Now that they are in the room, he wonders what he should do to warm Taehyung.
"Tae! Hey, get up! You need to change, sweetie. Get up." Jungkook says softly. He is surprised at his own words. He just called Taehyung 'sweetie' but that is not something that is bothering him right now. It's Taehyung's state that is worrying him.
"Taehyung! Please get up and get changed." Jungkook shakes him but Taehyung is not even responding. He is just shivering and his eyes are rolling at the back of his head.
Jungkook is panicking. For a person who hurts people who deserve it, taking care of people is not his cup of tea. But he is willing to do it for Taehyung. After all, he has liked him for a long time now.
Jungkook suddenly remembers one incident when they went to attack the hideout of a rival mafia group. It was freezing cold at that time and Namjoon was hurt. He couldn't even defend himself because he is basically a tech guy and he is not into violence. He was freezing then, just like Taehyung is right now. He remembers what Seokjin did to help Namjoon and it turned out to be pretty effective. Maybe Jungkook should do it too. Maybe it would work on Taehyung as well.
