❝ Hey guys! This chapter is super adorable, I think you'll love it. Sad news, however. It's going to be the last chapter for a while. Lately I've been posting chapters that I wrote almost two weeks ago, since I post one a day but write several a day and therefore have been ahead of the story- though these past two weeks I haven't written anything at all, and don't have anything else to post. I'm not sure how long this will last, all I can say is that my mental health hasn't been too great, and everything is just kind of slipping. I hope that you enjoy this chapter, so it can serve as a good point to leave off for my unexpected haitus. As soon as I get my creative flow back, however, I promise this story will continue and I'll post to let my followers know when that is. Thank you for your patience :) Enjoy! ❞

Again the season shifted. Everyone, by now, was well aware of the fact Hagrid and I both carried ourselves rather gloomily. The entire school shared in our troubles with Buckbeak.

Which is why Minerva granted us a beautiful job that certainty lifted our spirits. The woman knew what she was doing. For this year's holidays, it was the duty of Hagrid and I to decorate the Great Hall however we pleased, and the corridors if we wished. Hagrid had already picked out the two largest conifers he could find in the forest, determined to make this Christmas grander than the ones prior. I shared in his determination.

We decided together that we would make the colors as stunning as possible. This included lots of glass ornaments with golden fairy dust glittering and glowing inside- these ornaments were used to temporarily replace the floating candles so that the only light fixtures in the entire hall came from these speckling attractions. The banners that adorned the room were dark lapis lazuli patterns, dark royal blues in waves with splatters of gold. I was prodigiously proud of the handiwork.
