Two weeks later...
Jennie's POV:
I woke up to sun rays hitting my face. I looked next to me to see (Y/N) still sleeping peacefully with an arm around me. I smiled at the sight and stared at her features.
"You know it's rude to stare?" (Y/N) said.
"You're awake?" I asked.
(Y/N) slowly opened her eyes and smiled at me.
"Yep. Good morning beautiful." (Y/N) said.
"Good morning" I said.
(Y/N) then kissed the tip of my nose.
"Hey, you know what today is?" (Y/N) said.
"What's today?" I asked.
"Today marks one month since I've been courting you." she said.
"It's really been a month?" I asked surprised.
"Yep" she said.
She handed me her phone and showed me the date.
"Exactly one month today, I asked to court you." (Y/N) said.
"Wow, a month went by so fast." I said.
"I know right" she said.
(Y/N) looked at the time again before sitting up on the bed.
"We should get ready for school. It's already 7:20." (Y/N) said.
"Okay" I said.
The two of us got out of bed and went to get ready for school.
After a while...
I just finished taking a shower and doing my morning routine. After checking myself in the mirror, I went downstairs to make breakfast for me and (Y/N). After a few minutes, I felt someone backhug me. I automatically smiled knowing who it is.
"Something smells good." (Y/N) said.
"Hmm, what is it?" I asked.
I giggled as I felt (Y/N) sniff my neck.
"Hey. Stop that, it tickles" I said.
"But you smell like vanilla." she said.
I turned around and pulled (Y/N) into a soft tender kiss. I soon pulled away from the kiss and smiled at her.
"You're so cute." I said.
"Same with you." (Y/N) replied.
I showed her my gummy smile and she gave me another peck on the lips.
"Hey, I was wondering, you wanna go on a picnic date with me after school?" she asked.
"I would love to." I said.
"Great" she replied.
I gave (Y/N) one more peck on the lips before going back to making breakfast.
Time skip to lunch time...
It was now lunch time and I was sitting with my friends.
"Hey Jennie. What's up with you today?" Jimin asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You've been really happy today." V said.
"Like really really happy." Jisoo added.
I smiled when I remembered the reason why I'm so happy today.
"It's nothing." I said.
"This wouldn't have anything to do with the girl that's courting you, does it?" Jungkook asked in a teasing tone.
