Why do we find it difficult to follow Sankhya Yoga?

Lord Shri Krishna explains Arjun that the important thing in Gyan yoga is to feel totally absence of the authority of Sansar independently over us while the important thing in Karma yoga is the absence of attachment. A gyan yogi thinks about remaining detached from the authority of Sansar but he finds it difficult to feel and accept 'absence of authority of Sansar over us' as he remains attached to the worldly things . Though he feels 'Absence of Sansar' while he utilizes his time in thinking about Gyan but he cannot feel 'absence of Sansar' in practical life as he sees Sansar with attachment but a karm yogi tries ti share happiness to others and his aim of life is to serve others, his attachment to Sansar turns to the 'welfare of others' and he could easily abandon all his power and strength, sources and things in the services of others but it is difficult for a Gyanyogi to abandons attachment to Sansar thinking that 'Sansar is illusion'. But karma yogi utilizes these things and sources for others hence he could easily abandon attachment to Sansar just as we have shawls with us and when we see that shaws are needed to those persons who are shivering in cold and if we utilize them by giving them to the needy, we can easily spare those shawls for others even if we are not VIRAGI or detached from Sansar as Saints and Sadhak, we can abandon our attachment to those shawls for others but parting from shawls for a Gyan yogi becomes difficult if he thinks that 'This Sansar is perishable, it is full of illusion and delusion, it is like a dream in the sleep of life, it is temporary and hence I should abandon any attachment to things 9Here shawls). When we feel that 'something' can give us happiness , it becomes difficult for us to be departed from that thing or person but if we do not feel that 'something' can give us happiness, it becomes difficult to abandon that thing. If we want to give something to anybody, we would try to give 'good things' to others as we want to remain ;good' in others' eyes .Hence it is more easier to abandon attachment to things in karma yoga compared to Gyan yoga :

SARVALOK VIRUDDHAM YAT YAD VISHVASIT GHATAKAM I
YADVIPAKSHASHCHA PUNYASYA NA VADET TADNRUTAM II

Whatever is against the opinion of people , whatever is to cheat others, whatever is against the Punya is ' un truth' and a Sadhak should abandon speaking untruth.A Gyan yogi knows sansar as untruth and perishable but only by thinking 'Sansar a unreal and illusion, un truth and temporary nobody can abandon Sansar just as we see movie in theater and knows well that 'It is untruth , an imaginary story to entertain our sences but we cant 'abondon our authority of watching movies.Though we know well that we are spoiling our character, wasting our timr and wasting our energy through our senses eyes, ears ,mind and money but we cannot give up attachment of watching movies. It proves that though we feel attachment to things, even if they have no independent authority over us.if there is no attachment to things and the thing has authority over us then also we can remain free from the attachment to things of Sansar. Hence a Sadhak's duty is to feel detachment or absence of attachment of things and persons, it does not mean that he should not accept the authority of Sansar because the things that creates bondage is ' attachment' and relation to sansar' not the authority of sansar.

YAARANYEN RODANAT SIDDHI: YA SIDDHI KLISH KOPANAT I
KRUTAGHNASEVANAT SIDDHI: SA SIDDHI: KUTABHASHANAT II

When a Sadhak speak untruth or follow it he would achieve untruth as a person's cry in the forest remains unlistened by anybody, As his making angry to Klib is useless and as serving to thankless person is in rain all his yoga sjddhi would be useless.Only knowing Sansar as untruth is not sufficient reason to abandon Sansar for a Sankhya yogi but when a Sadhak can be steady in his own Swaroop ,the real form as a part of Paramatma, he could feel 'Sansar as an untruth because when a Sadhak becomessteady in his own Swaroop, the entire situation becomes' KARAN NIRAPEKSHA but the smart intellect does not accept it as our intellect is also one type of 'untruth' .Hence when a Sadhak wants to know or abandon untruth (sansar) with the help of his intellect( the another untruth) as an instrument, how could he find truth and remain detached to Sansar by using the wrong and untruth as an instrument to know the another untruth i. e. Sansar. Hence whether truth or untruth if a Sadhak remains attached to them, it would create bondage for a Sadhak .Hence it is proved again that nothing except attachment is the cause of bondage to Sansar that is untruth and hence a Sadhak should try to be free from attachment only.

To utilize the available situation in serving others is karma yoga. Lord Shri Krishna advises Arjun about karma yoga on the battle field of KURUKSHETRA and in the notorious situation of Great War of Mahabharata. It means karma yoga can be followed by Sadhak in any situations anywhere because a karma yogi is not depends on incapable of following any karma because he just to have abandon his desires getting fruits from his karma. When a person wants something as a reward or fruits of his karma, he has to depend on other persons and situations but if he does not desire anything, he could be free himself from attachment.

To do karma and to enjoy the fruits of karma is Sansar. Both Sankhya yogi and karma yogi has to be detached from Sansar Both have to cut off their relations to Sansar hence both have to abandon 'doing karma and enjoying the fruits of karma KARTRUTVA and BHOKTRUTVA .A Sankhya yogi can abandon them by his smart and intellect and sharp Vairagya but in the absence of smart intellect and sharo Vairagya .A karma yogi too can free himself from 'enjoying body and senses' by abandoning the karma for himself and doing karma yagna only for the welfare of others selflessly. when a Sadhak can abandon KARTRUTVA he could easily abandon BHOKTRUTVA and when a Sadhak can abandon BHOKTRUTVA ,he would automatically free himself from KARTRUTVA because every karma is done to get something as a fruit but when a karm yogi remains detached from the fruits of karma FALECHCHHA , it becomes only kriya for him just as a machine does kriya no KARTRUTVA remains in KARMA YOGi.

Then what is the difference between 'a servant Jarma yogi and a person who longs to know Brahma MUMUKSHU?

Let's understand from our great God and Guru Shri Krishna...
