Forget to Remember

That Friday, after going to meet with the psychiatrist and all, Stevie would go home to be with the boys while Karen and Lindsey tag teamed the hotel room.

Lindsey would be returning home in order to pack up some more of his wife's things in order for Karen to bring back to her because with the way things were going, it wasn't really a good idea for the singer to leave the two year old again.

Just as Lindsey had predicted, the blonde would probably be staying in Greenland for the remainder of the weeks the boys had school just so that she could be there for Brandon's graduation without disturbing the baby's schedule.

As said, Lindsey didn't mind, and he knew Rhea didn't mind and even though the eldest children didn't have much to say on the topic, they were mostly relieved she was okay after the biggest scare of their life, The blonde was alive and well.

In being well, Stevie would be seeing her new doctor quite a bit and she was looking forward to seeing her throughout the week considering it would help her remember her life a little better, she would surely be back in touch with who she used to be, overall be the person she was before the crash including just a bit more baggage than before.

Lindsey did not have it in him to apologize for doubting Brian's intentions although he did come clean to his wife about having freaked out for no reason considering the psychiatrist was on their side it seemed, despite being friends with Brian. But Stevie understood and she didn't blame him.

When Stevie's first appointment rolled around on Monday, she would be alone considering Karen and Lindsey went home for the week to handle things like they normally did while she went about her normal routines as she had been the whole last year with the exception of driving; she took a taxi since she wasn't using Samantha's license anymore.

Sitting in the lobby, she went over all the possibilities of hypnosis and its benefits, but she couldn't help but be a little anxious; it was a big thing.

Soon the psychiatrist opened her office door and she looked over at the woman with a smile. "Hi, Stevie... I'm ready for you now."

"Okay," she nodded and got up, draping her coat over her arm along with her purse. She then entered the office and she let off a small sigh as the woman offered her seating. "Thanks."

"My pleasure. So, how are you doing?" Freya asked, shutting the door behind them.

"I've been better, but I'mm doing okay," she nodded.

Nodding, "I know that these sessions will benefit you well and I think some clarity will have you feeling better."

She agreed.

"Okay, so let's dive in!" she commenced, grabbing a legal pad and pencil before guiding the woman from the desk to the couch and armchair. "I want you to get comfortable, lay down if you'd like and let's start touching on things in more depth. You gave me some information and I know what's going on, but let's go into detail."

She nodded, settling her purse on the chair at the desk and her coat hanging over the back of it before walking over to lay down on the couch; all she wanted was to lay down and sleep till she could wake up being the exact person she was.

"From your point of view, where do you think you're struggling the most?" she wondered.

"I feel very disconnected from my family when I shouldn't be... And despite all that Brian has caused, all that he did and all that he said, I'm having trouble moving on from him. Really, I just..." she paused, trying to find the right words.

"I understand your frustration and that is a very good place to start... Let me ask you..." she leaned forward after taking her notes. "Did you report Brian?" she wondered.
