Everyone is stunned to speechless; everyone as in the group, not spectators. The spectators are awed by the cuteness of the child and triple that by lovely sight of lovely 'young lady embracing her child. Back to the group, they are lost and confused because no one recognizes the child at all.
"Mommy~~~ *sobbing .... sobbing*" Child cries in Shen Wei's embrace.
"Er--- little one... I think you-" Shen Wei tries to appease crying child by slowly rubbing the crying child back yet trying to clarify the misunderstanding.
"Mommy... you can't leave me alone with uncle at home. I want to go with you both too. Daddy~~~ Convince mommy to take me with you guys... *sobbing*" crying child begs while looking at shock Yunlan.
"Dad-dy..?" Zhao Yunlan shakily asks while pointing toward himself with a finger and gulps down his saliva nervously.
Thankfully for them, no one notices that awkward question from Yunlan to be suspicious thanks to the child grabbing all the attention toward him and Shen Wei.
"Little angel, what are you doing!?" Little devil hisses, still invincible but the 'supposedly crying child' gives evil smirk to the actual devil and continues his mischievous plan.
"Little Angel!?" both Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan yell at the same time making Guo, Lin, and Zhu release sighs of relief and automatically goes from feeling bewildered to amuse anticipation... okay, maybe only Lin and Zhu are excitedly anticipating next move from the little angel.
To outsiders, it seems like parents are calling their child with enduring name, but actual truth is that little angle is the real name/being of the child.
"Mommy~~ Daddy... don't leave me alone here while you go visit my sister. I want to see her too" The child continues to fake his misery.
Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei are still too confused to understand what is really going on. What is little angel's real plan or reason.
Zhu Hong being the demon she is, she is definitely not going to let this chance go by without her enjoying it to the fullest. After all, she was forced to take on a different identity for everyone's sake, so why can't she play a little prank on others too?
"Oh, my little sweetie... Your mommy and daddy are not leaving you behind because they want to. But the journey to visit your sister is rough, so they worried that you will not be able to handle it... After all, you are their precious little angel..." Zhu Hong fake sincere but inside, she is cracking up looking at both Yunlan and Wei shocked faces when she met their gazes. It's hilarious how wide their eyes widen in shock and their faces turning flush from embarrassment.
"But auntie.... You and your husband are here with uncle and my mommy and daddy. Can't you guys look after little me...?" Child innocently ask with big puppy eyes stain with tears making others look pitifully at the child.
"Young couples. It's okay to worry about your child's safety but their feelings are also important. Why don't you let the poor child come along and you five young adults can look after him? Besides, a child always listens to their mother's words." One elder woman from the next seat said to Shen Wei making Shen Wei flush again when he just literally recovered from the shock.
"Er-.. no grandma, he is not--" Shen Wei is trying to deny again but this time, Yunlan cuts him off because he finally understood the reason behind angel's mischievous plan.
Poor devil, he is lost for words just like his poor master and doesn't know how to solve the issue without creating more problems.
"Wifey... grandma is right. Why don't we make sure to keep him safe. huh? I know you were reluctant when we were leaving the house and having to leave our little angel with his uncle." Yunlan sweetly said while hugging his child and wife at the same time. Shen Wei, with all these shocks, just wishes for one thing: I must be daydreaming... yea... it must be...
"Oh~~~ look at them dear! Aren't they a sweet couple? Why can't you be sweet like him to me?" Another passenger said to her husband, making him grumble about something under his breath and glared at Yunlan who didn't care.
The still crying child just smirks at panicking devil and continues to fake cry, grabbing more attention towards them in the train.
Guo Changcheng, the only one who seems to notice Shen Wei's suffering, is feeling sad. Not only was no one listening to him, he was being accused of being a mother, a wife and now he has no choice but to play long.
Hoong who was shamelessly flirting with Shen Wei at the beginning is trapped where he was because many other passengers are surrounding the couple making his retreat impossible.
"So, who is this uncle, mommy~~? I don't like him!" Little child cries while pouting cutely making Hoong flush in embarrassment for hitting on married woman with kids in front of her own husband.
Talk about shameful traits...
"Oh, him?! Don't worry little angel. He was drawn to your mommy's beauty that he couldn't help but flirt with. I pity he even tried because we all know that your mommy is faithful to only me..." Yunlan innocently said to his child that is sitting on Wei's lap but in his embrace, both Wei and little angel.
"Uncle... you can't get my mommy from me and my daddy! ~~ *Sobbing...sobbing* Mommy is mine and my daddy's only!" Little angel yells again while clinging to Shen Wei possessively.
"Er- I-" Hoong is about to say something amidst the chaos that many eyes are glaring daggers at him. If look could kill, he would probably be already buried deep in the ground with many daggers pierce through his body.
"NO!!!~~~~ Mommy is mine and daddy!!!! I won't share with uncle, no~~ no~~" little angel is now throwing angry tantrum and shaking poor Shen Wei along with it.
"Little angel, stop. That's enough. Uncle is not going to take me away from you or you-r daddy!" Shen Wei finally speaks and chokes out his words.
I can't believe I'm playing along with them.... this is too embarrassing.... They are going to pay for this later!
"Really mommy? Mommy is not going to leave me and daddy for him?" little angel cutely asks, earning him couple awes from others and softening Shen Wei's heart from scolding him for his mischievous acts that he was planning for later.
"Yes, my little angel. I'm not leaving you guys." Wei sweetly soothes the child while wiping away the remaining tears on the child's face.
Seeing that his Xiao Wei playing along, Yunlan decides to mess with him more. After all, he knows that he is going to pay for it later anyway.
"But wifey... I don't like it that other people keep staring at you.... what shall this poor husband of yours to do in the face of such tragedy...?" Yunlan whines pitifully making Shen Wei glare at him for raising a new problem when he just mastered all his dignity to end one.
"Look little angel... you mommy is glaring at your daddy.... mommy can be so scary..." Yunlan fake whines and gets couple chuckles from spectators and Shen Wei has enough. He escapes reality by burying his flush and hot face on the crook of little angel's neck.
"Mommy... don't be mad at daddy. Daddy is just possessive of you because we love you a lot! Come now... and make up. Daddy... give mommy a kiss so mommy is not mad anymore." Little angel said innocently like teacher teaching arguing kids to make up after the fight. Shen Wei perks up suddenly with new worries when he hears that.
"Oh no. Ah Lan. Don't." Shen Wei automatically rejects while distancing himself from Yunlan but he had forgotten that he is still carrying the child on his lap while Yunlan embracing them both since long ago. Therefore, there was no escape for him.
"Little angel, seems like your mommy is shy~~" Yunlan said while chuckling and Shen Wei thought that Yunlan listen to his word but when Shen Wei is about release sighs of relief, Yunlan quickly stole a quick pack on Wei's cheek, turning him into red tomato.
"Hehehehe... mommy is so red, daddy" little child chirp happily and everyone around couldn't help but to chuckle along when Yunlan said
"Nope, wifey. Don't show your beautiful blushing face to others. You know I get jealous easily."
"Fine, then let me just bury my face in your chest." Shen Wei moaned in defeat and did just that. Yunlan couldn't help but to lovingly chuckle at his cute and shy Wei and land open mouth kiss on Wei's head and continue to stroke his hair lovingly and Shen Wei just remain cling to Yunlan's chest. He doesn't have any willpower to endure anymore embarrassment. Thank you very much.
"I'm sorry everyone. Please give us some alone time. I'm afraid I might have driven my wife a bit too far from his comfort zone." Yunlan said apologetically and everyone goes back to their seats with fond smile seeing a husband who cares about his wife, a child that loves and possessive of his mother and lovely shy mother that is loved by her family. It's quite a picture-perfect happy family.
"Little Angel! That's enough with your teasing. Look, that guy is long gone. My master is feeling uncomfortable now!" Little Devil scolds but only Wei, Yunlan and child can hear or see him.
"But how can I suddenly disappear?! Everyone here already saw me as a child. If I suddenly disappear, our masters will have to face more unwanted trouble!" The little angel protests telepathically to the little devil.
"...Fine. But don't cause any more trouble for my master!"
"Fine~~~~ Mommy and Daddy, I will go sit with Uncle Guo, so you two can hug all you want~~~" Little child chirps and went to sit down on Guo's lap.
"Thanks, little angel" Yunlan whispers to the child with a wink and the child just winks back.
