3RD PERSON'S POV
Joohee leaned back against the chair with a hand over her tummy which was threatening to burst. A burp almost escaped her mouth but she had quickly clamped a hand over it to keep the burp in. She was glad that she wore a loose shirt today instead of a tight top or dress that might show the lining of her bloating belly.
"This is not good, at this pace I'm going to get so fat because of you." Joohee told the guy who sat across from her who didn't eat much but just sit there and watch her. The reason was this bakery is the 4th eating places that they visit today on their date and he was already full at the first restaurant.
"Good, you'll look really cute!" Yoongi chuckled, showing his gummy smile.
"Cute? We'll just going to look like number 10 together. You're the number 1 and I'm number 0." She wanted to say it louder but her stomach was so full that she have no energy to do so.
"I would still love you no matter what though."
Yoongi then stood up and put out his arm, offering to lend her a hand to push her up from her seat.
"Let's go, we have one more place to go before it's getting late."
"Okay!" With the help of his hand, Joohee got on her two feet and ready walk with him outside. To her surprise, Yoongi was strong enough to pull up someone as heavy as her with only one arm.
It was quite a shock when they just realized that the sky had gone from a dark blue to completely black with in half an hour that it took them to get to their destination.
Getting in line. the two stood next to each other, hand in hand, and stared up in amazement and awe at the slowly spinning ferris wheel. Behind them was other couples, kids, teenagers and even adults. Many go somewhere else to try other rides that the amusement park offer.
Since the sky was dark, the various types of colored lights decorating the ferris wheel brightened up the place and it was just entirely beautiful. The view was absolutely breathtaking and it was so inexplicable.
"Wow..." Joohee broke out the silence amongst the two.
"This is actually my first time riding the Ferris wheel."
"Really? Well, it's not my first time but this time will be more special for sure. Since it is my first time going with my girlfriend." Yoongi smile as his grip on her hand slightly tighten.
"Oh..." Joohee stare at Yoongi in awe as she thought of how lucky she is to be the many of his 'first'.
The line is getting closer as minutes pass by. But the more closer, the more sweaty her hands become. Joohee just remember why she doesn't go on Ferris wheel or any other rides that included tall height because simply, she's scared of height. She tried hard to drown that fear away because Yoongi looked so cute and excited that she doesn't want to kill his mood with her no-fun self.
Soon, Joohee found herself sitting across Yoongi as he gazed out at the beautiful night sky outside the glass window and she stare blankly at the floor, trying not to look at the sight outside the window. The city looked small from their spot high up in the sky and it fascinated him deeply.
"Joohee~" Yoongi pinched her cheeks to catch her attention.
"Why don't you look outside? The view is beautiful."
"Haha but you're the view." Joohee looked in his eyes instead. This is a best excuse she can come up with that doesn't raise any suspicion from Yoongi of why she doesn't look outside. But she's pretty sure even if she's not afraid of height, she would still rather looking at him instead.
"Hm..." Yoongi smirked while gazing at her eyes.
"Maybe I should start charging when you look then."
"Tch, so arrogant..." She playfully scoffed.
"Then fine, I'll look at Taehyung instead! I'm sure he wouldn't charge me!"
"Yah! Stop bringing that kid to our conversation " Yoongi pinched her cheeks a little harder.
"I'll punish you if you look at other guys! Even Bts members!"
"Oww! Let go!!" Joohee pushed his hand off her cheek and then massage it ease the redness. Of course it didn't hurt much, but she thought it was cute to see his worry face looking at her.
"I'll tell Jin you bully me again!"
"Tsk such a baby. Lemme see." Yoongi grabbed her hand and pull it away before lean closer to place a peck on her cheek.
"There."
Joohee was surprised as her heart pounded against her chest. She never thought Yoongi was this type of boyfriend and she was not used to all of this at all.
"Come on now, let's look outside together!" Yoongi pulled her closer by the waist and gesture her to look at the view outside the window. Joohee bit her bottom lip, she thought of looking outside and suppressed her fear for a short while. And so she did. But unfortunately, the two were at the highest point of the wheel and it was hundred of feet off the ground.
Joohee quickly pull back to her original place as her stomach sunk, her knees go weak, and her palms are wet with sweat. It was too high for her too handle.
Surprised, Yoongi's settled on her uneasy expression and down at her hands. Yoongi saw how damp they were from his spot and at first he thought that she was only nervous to be sitting with him in a cramped place for the first time. But after a few more seconds, he finally realize it.
"You're scared of height?" Yoongi asked with a soft and gentle voice.
Her face turned crimson red in embarrassement and she slowly answered, "Y-yeah."
"Pabo..." Yoongi scoot over next her as he tried to calm her down.
"Why didn't you tell me beforehand?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't thought it would be this high!" Joohee frowned while her gaze never left her hands that was settled on her lap.
"This girl...always hiding things to yourself." Yoongi's hand reach over to the other side of her head then slightly push her head down until it lies on his shoulder.
"Close your eyes."
Joohee did as she was told and it was as if he was casting a spell on her, Joohee felt comforted and protected by just some mere words and actions.
And for the rest of the ride, the two shared a neutral silence as they both enjoyed the sweetness of their warmth together.
By the time they two got home, it was 9:50 p.m. at night and they were both exhausted from their long date today. However, it seems the date wasn't enough, they want to spend more time with each other.
Yoongi is currently in the living room of her apartment, waiting for her to get snacks from the kitchen so they can chill while watching a movie maybe.
Joohee looked deliberately through her fridge and drawers but she couldn't find any popcorn or other snacks. She knows exactly the reason behind it, Joohee didn't bother buy much because of her perfect personal chef-boyfriend living next door.
Of course Joohee's moment of being alone would somehow have its end. But instead of feeling chock when she felt a pair of arms sliding down her waist from behind and resting gently around her, all she did was divert her attention from the drawers and smiled knowingly in pure bliss.
"What's taking you so long?"
Yoongi sank his chin into her right shoulder and she naturally tilted to the other side.
"I couldn't find anything..."
"It's okay. Being with you is enough." Hear his voice beside her ear send chills through her whole body.
Joohee tried to glance at him and regretted doing so because the distance between them was now so close that they were literally breathing in each other's breath. But it was too late to turn away, they both know what they needed right now more than anything else. A kiss-
"JOOHEE!! YOUR HOPE IS HERE-" Hobi quickly barged into the unlocked door and dash his way to the back to find his cousin.
"HYUNG?!"
Joohee immediately pull away from Yoongi while giving Hoseok a widen smile.
"Oh hello! Didn't expect you to be here... haha"
"I KNEW IT!" Hobi exclaimed while approach then stand between the two, facing Yoongi.
"I knew you would be here alone with my Joohee. I knew I wouldn't trust you, go home hyung it's already late!"
"Why should I listen to you, brat?" Yoongi asked irritated expression on his face as he looked at Hobi who also have a serious and heated expression.
"And why are you here anyway?"
"Because I didn't trust you being next door with her yet so I decided to sleep here tonight!" Hobi strongly claimed.
"What??" Joohee yelped.
"But I only have one room!"
"I'll sleep on the sofa tonight so don't worry, and hyung go to your apartment it's passed 10 we need our beauty sleep." Hobi smiled and it showed his dimples.
"You-"
"Yoongi..." Joohee called and gestured him not to argue with Hobi anymore.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then, goodnight..." Joohee pouted.
"Yeah..." Yoongi sighed in defeat while Hobi smile in victory.
"Goodnight Joohee, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight to you hyung, and you'll also be seeing here me tomorrow!!" Hobi exclaimed.
