Clementine Pov:
We made our way out of the bell tower and met the others in the yard. I made eye contact with Sarah and she smirked as she watched Violet and I step into the yard.
I glanced over at Violet and sighed.
Clementine: I'll talk to you later.
I said. She nodded with a smile.
Violet: See ya, Clem.
She said as I turned and walked over to Sarah. Marlon stood in front of her with his back pressed to one of the pillars on the wall.
Sarah: Hey Clem. Did you have fun?
She asked as I approached her. Marlon looked up and cleared his throat.
Marlon: I'm gonna let you two talk.
He said before walking away from us.
Sarah: How was your... date?
Sarah giggled causing me to roll my eyes and cross my arms.
Clementine: It wasn't a date. And what about you and Marlon. You've been spending an awful lot of time together. I've noticed you not coming to bed some nights. I assume you're sleeping somewhere.
I teased causing her to chuckle.
Sarah: I've been open about who I like... It's you that's been keeping secrets. Now spill it, you like Violet.
She crossed her arms waiting for my response.
I sighed and shook my head.
Clementine: Fine, okay, I like Violet.
Sarah chuckled and clapped her hands.
Sarah: I knew it. I will admit, I almost thought you'd end up with Louis. You can't tell me you haven't noticed the way he looks at you.
She raised an eyebrow at me.
Clementine: Louis is sweet, but...I don't know. The night we all found out about Marlon, I saw in his eyes that he didn't want to believe what we were saying. I feel like if Brody hadn't been there to vouch for us, he definitely would have believed Marlon over me.
I shook my head.
Sarah: But didn't Kenny say Violet was dating Minerva before Marlon gave her and her sister away? Do you really think she would be able to see her and not have those feelings again? Louis and Marlon are best friends. I mean... Would you believe someone who just came into the group if they told you I or Lee had been lying to you this whole time?
She questioned.
I sighed.
Clementine: No, probably not. Because I trust you.
I shook my head.
Sarah: Who knows, Violet could still have feelings for Minerva? I'm not telling you what to do, Clem. But I think you should make sure this is truly what she wants before you decide.
Sarah suggested.
I nodded.
Clementine: I hear you. Thank's for the advice. It's my turn for lookout. Wanna join me?
I questioned.
Sarah: Duh. We haven't really had much time to talk since we got here.
Sarah smiled as she followed me to the lookout.
Sarah: This place is... Amazing. Everything feels normal again.
Sarah said as she leaned on the boards surrounding the lookout, staring out at the walkers that lingered around the front gate.
Clementine: It is a nice place. And we'll make it even nicer once we deal with the raiders.
I smiled standing next to her.
Sarah was quiet for a second before glancing over at me.
Sarah: You're like a sister to me. And your opinion matters the most in my eyes... I wanted to ask you a question.
I turned to look at her with a raised eyebrow.
Clementine: Okay? Shoot.
I motioned for her to speak.
She looked back out at the walkers thinking for a second before she spoke up.
Sarah: I've never had a boyfriend... I've never even had a crush on a guy before. Untill I met Marlon. He's sweet, funny...Does that make me sound stupid? After what he did?
She questioned.
I chuckled and shook my head.
Clementine: No of course not. I may not have done what he did... But he's also never been though what we have. Fear will make people do really crazy things sometimes. If you like Marlon that much, I'd say go for it. If he makes you happy, then I'm happy.
I replied with a smile.
A grin spread across Sarah's face as she turned away from me looking out into the woods. Her smile slowly dropped as she squinted her eyes.
She pulled out a pare of binoculars and looked through them.
Sarah: They definitely aren't walkers. They have horses. Look.
She handed the binoculars to me and I lifted them to my face watching as a group of people with horses and carriages slowly crept through the woods.
Clementine: Shit, that must be them. We need to warn the others now.
I said quickly as we both hurried down from the lookout.
Clementine: Dad! The raiders are here. We need to get ready!
I said as I ran over to Lee. Sam's ears perked up as he stood straight as if he were ready to attack.
Louis: We're ready, Clem.
Louis nodded smiling at me.
Kenny: Good, We got this, okay? Nobody has anything to worry about.
Kenny nodded as he wrapped his arm around Willy's shoulder.
Lee: Kenny's right, we can do this.
Lee agreed.
Clementine: They've got at least 4 more people with them, all carrying guns. And carts, probably to carry people away.
Yhwach emerged from the library, his stoic expression betraying none of the thoughts swirling within his mind
Clementine: Yhwach, the raiders are here. They've got horses, carts, and at least four more people with guns. We need to get ready.
I explained.
Yhwach nodded, his gaze piercing as he assessed the situation.
Aizen: (intrigued) A raid, you say? How fascinating. It seems the stage is set for another conflict. How do you plan to handle this, Yhwach?
Yhwach: (calmly) We will face them head-on, defend our home, and ensure the safety of everyone here.
Aizen: (teasingly) Such a straightforward approach. Perhaps there's room for a bit of finesse, a strategic touch to outsmart these raiders.
Yhwach: (firmly) Finesse has its place, but in the face of imminent danger, decisive action is paramount.
Mitch: Fuckin assholes.
Mitch glared angrily.
Ruby: I just can't believe they're really here.
Ruby chimed in with a scared look on her face.
Clementine: Don't worry, if they get inside, I'll keep them focused on me. That should give Willy and Mitch enough time to set up the bomb. They want to try to ambush us? Well we are gonna beat them at their own game.
I said causing Yhwach, Lee and Kenny to nod along with everyone else.
Mitch: We'll set it up on one of the carts. It'll work, I promise.
Mitch informed me.
Kenny: I'll help out Willy and Mitch. Lee, You and Louis stay near the admin building just in case they get by. That way you'll be able to get inside before us and prepare to set off the traps.
Kenny instructed.
Aasim: They're in for a rude fuckin' surprise.
Aasim said smirking at Willy.
Clementine: Get to cover and remember to make those assholes regret they ever fucked with us.
I said before shooing everyone off to they're hiding spots just as a gun shot went off hitting Omar in the leg.
Clementine: Hide! Now! Sarah help me get him to safety!
I called out as everyone quickly ran for cover. Louis grabbed AJ's hand pulling him behind one of the overturned tables.
Man: Come on! Push!
I heard a man voice grunt from the other side of the gate as Sarah and I ducked behind the picnic table.
Lilly: Clementine! Lee! I know you're in there!
Lilly's voice called from outside the wall.
Man: Open up, Kid. This doesn't have to get any uglier.
A man yelled before they tossed something over the gate setting our barricades on fire.
Sarah: Here's your bow.
Sarah whispered as she handed one of the bow and arrows to me. The front gate burst open and Lilly, Abel and two other people,stepped inside with large guns.
They looked around at our set up with scowls on they're faces.
Sarah: Is that her? Is that Lilly?
Sarah questioned as she peeked from behind the picnic table.
Clementine: That's her. Just as evil as her father.
I shook my head whispering back to her.
I looked over at Sarah and nodded before standing up and aiming the bow and arrow at the raiders.
Clementine: Lilly! Take another step, and I'll end your life where you stand!
I glared as the raiders raised their guns.
Abel: You won't get the chance!
Abel growled back.
Clementine: Fucking try me!
I dared him as I looked him in the eyes standing my ground. Lilly raised her hand up telling her friends to stand down. She stepped forward a bit causing me to aim the arrow at her.
Lilly: Where's our new recruits?
Lilly questioned causing me to scoff.
Clementine: They aren't yours. And they don't want to go with you. Leave now while you still have the chance because you aren't taking anyone!
I exclaimed, anger rushing through my body.
Lilly: Search the yard. And if Clementine moves shoot her.
She ordered looking back at her people.
I smirked as I glanced over spotting Kenny, Willy, and Mitch hiding behind a bush, Abel walked towards it, oblivious to who he might find if he got closer.
Lilly: We'll find them ,Clementine. And then we'll take them, and you, and your little boy. I know Lee's not far, if we have to kill him to get what we want then so be it. But all of you are coming with us or die trying to avoid it.
Lilly spoke confidently.
Clementine: You have no idea what you're in for. You're not taking anyone else from this group. I'll kill you before I let you turn them into monsters like you and your people. Soon you'll realize that trying to be like your father will only get you killed.
I shook my head glaring at her.
Lilly: I'm better than my father!
Lilly snapped causing me to scoff out a chuckle.
Clementine: Wrong. You're worse.
I spat angrily.
Lilly: Shut up!
She demanded causing Abel to turn facing her. This gave Kenny, Willy and Mitch time to slip passed him.
Clementine: You know it's the truth. You're 10 times worse than Larry. You're evil! You're a fucking Monster!
I growled.
Lilly sighed placing her hand on her hip as she stared at me for a second.
Lilly: You've changed.
She pointed out.
Clementine: I grew up. What? You thought you were gonna get that scared little girl from 7 years ago? Well you were wrong once again. I'm not that little girl anymore, and I'm certainly not afraid of you.
I chuckled rolling my eyes.
Lilly: Yeah... I can see that.
Lilly nodded with a glare. I smirked and glared back ready to let the arrow fly if they made a move.
Lilly: God... You're just like him. Lee should be heartbroken... Knowing he taught you all the wrong things.
She taunted.
I scoffed and laughed at her irrelevance.
Clementine: Lee's a much better father than Larry ever was to you. And he's so much more than you'll ever be. Choose your words wisely when you speak about him. Because he taught me everything I know, and I survived because of him. And he's proud of the person I've become!
I snapped ready to let go of the arrow.
Lilly: Why? Because you pick fights you can't win?
She scowled causing me to chuckle.
Clementine: Wrong again, Lilly. You think you know... But you have no clue what we've got in store for you and your raider friends. It'd be wise of you to take this chance to leave... Because most if not all of you are going to die tonight.
I winked with a smirk.
Sarah snickered from behind the table causing me to laugh a little. I watched as Kenny gave me a thumbs up signaling that the bomb was in place.
Lilly: You think so?
Lilly raised her eyebrows in amusement.
Clementine: Leave now, Lilly! Last warning.
I smirked.
Lilly's face scrunched up as she spoke.
Lilly: If you won't help me find the others, I'll find someone who will. We've recruited from this school before.
She smirked as she turned looking around.
Lilly: Minnie wanted to come along tonight. To tell you how well she's adjusted to our life. How happy she is. She said she had a girlfriend back here.
She called out causing my heart to drop as I glanced down at Sarah who gave me a knowing look.
Lilly: Her friends that she misses so much. One guy, he could always make her laugh, no matter what. And her little brother, she missed him the most.
At that moment I hoped that AJ was near him.
I knew for a fact he would be able to keep him there. When no one came out, I sighed with relief and smirked.
Clementine: Give it up, Lilly. They aren't stupid. You've lost. Just go home.
I shook my head.
Aizen's voice echoed within Yhwach's mind, a subtle but persistent presence that seemed to revel in the unfolding drama.
Aizen: (teasingly) My, my, Yhwach. It seems your little protege has quite the flair for the dramatic. Deception, manipulation—these are arts I've mastered. But it seems she's trying her hand at them now.
Yhwach, maintaining his composure, responded with an internal sigh.
Yhwach: (stoically) Aizen, this is not the time for your jests. We face a threat, and Clementine is doing what needs to be done to protect our own.
Aizen: (smirking) Oh, but what a fascinating display of emotions she's putting on. The anger, the defiance. It's almost poetic.
Yhwach: (sternly) Enough, Aizen. Your self-indulgent commentary is neither helpful nor appreciated. This situation requires focus.
Aizen: (chuckling) But Yhwach, I can't help but admire the way she plays her role. It's almost as if she's learned from the best.
Yhwach: (irritated) Now is not the time for your ego, Aizen. We must concentrate on the matter at hand.
Aizen's laughter echoed in Yhwach's mind, persisting despite Yhwach's attempts to silence it.
Aizen: (sarcastically) Very well, Yhwach. I'll withhold my insightful commentary for now. But do keep in mind that I'm the master of deception, and Clementine is but an apprentice.
Yhwach: (firmly) Your arrogance is insufferable, Aizen. Focus on the task at hand, or remain silent.
Lilly glared at me before raising her hand. Just as she did, Kenny lit the gas trail to the bomb and the cart exploded sending them all crashing to the ground.
Clementine: Now!! Attack!
I yelled as the others pulled out their bows and began sending arrows flying at the raiders. AJ and Tenn rushed passed me with Sam close by as they ran towards the admin building.
Sarah glanced up and aimed her arrow towards the trees. When she let the arrow go, I watched as someone came falling down landing behind the wall where we couldn't see them anymore.
Clementine: Nice shot, Sarah. Good eye!
I commended her as I looked over to see Lilly slowly trying to get up from the ground. I raised my bow and sent an arrow towards her. She rolled over quickly and the arrow hit her shoulder.
Lilly: ah! Fuck!
She gritted out as someone shot a gun at me, I saw it coming and ducked quickly rolling behind Sarah as she sent an arrow into the raiders head.
Clementine: Fall back! Now!
I yelled. Kenny ran over to us grabbing Omar and rushing him towards the admin building as Sarah and I worked to get everyone else inside.
Lilly: Kill who you have to! Take the rest!
Lilly commanded causing the raiders to start shooting towards where the others were hiding.
I raised my arrow and shot one guy in the neck, as Sarah shot the other guy in the back of the head.
Clementine: Go now!
I yelled to them. Everyone rushed towards the building and inside. Sarah and I ran in behind them quickly closing the door. Everyone else rushed off to the piano room and we barricaded the door before Sarah and I ran up the stairs meeting Kenny, Lee, Yhwach, Willy, and Aasim at the top.
Willy: The traps are ready.
Willy whispered and I nodded.
Clementine: They're coming.
I informed them as we hid silently behind the railing of the stairs. The doors burst open and I took my knife out.
I looked over at Lee who was standing by the other trap and nodded.
Clementine: When I give the signal, cut the rope.
I said causing him to nod. I peeked around the rails seeing Abel with two new people. One person stepped right under my trap and I cut the rope sending a sack of bricks falling on top of one of the raiders.
The other raider shrieked in surprise as the bricks crushed his friend.
Abel: Kill that one. The girl!
Abel demanded as he pointed towards me.
The man raised his gun and shot it towards me. I jumped back and nodded to Lee as I ran up the stairs and down the hall to the office with Sarah, Kenny, Aasim, Yhwach, and Willy behind me.
Kenny and Yhwach lead Aasim and Willy off to a good place to hide as , Sarah and I waited for Lee. Once I heard the scream of the raider and the crash of the large swinging log, Lee quickly made his way inside, slamming the door behind him.
Lee: You girls okay?
Lee asked as he stepped towards us.
Abel: Fucking bitch! I told Lilly you wouldn't cooperate.
Abel yelled from outside as we heard something smash and then smoke began coming under the door.
Lee: Get back. I'll handle this piece of shit.
Lee said pointing to us just as the door flew open.
Abel: Well, Well, Well. We meet again, Lee. Your friend Lilly isn't here, so we'll have a nice little chat. You and me, Alone.
Abel said glaring at Lee.
Lee: You'd better try your best to kill me. Because that's exactly what I'm gonna do to you.
Lee spoke as Abel charged at him.
Lee dodged Abel's swing and swung his fist connecting to the side of his face sending him to the ground. Abel kicked Lee in the leg causing him to stumble back almost losing his balance.
Abel got up from the ground just as Lee recovered, but he wasn't quick enough. Lee rushed towards him colliding into him sending them both through the balcony door of the office. Lee struggled for a second before kneeing Abel in the balls.
Abel hunched over groaning as Lee forcefully punched him in the face sending him into the railings which broke under him and sent him to the ground below.
Sarah and I rushed over to Lee and looked down seeing Abel on the ground, his leg all broken and twisted out of place as he screamed.
Lilly stepped closer to him and looked up at us. She glared angrily and aimed her gun. Marlon came out of nowhere suddenly, tackling Lilly to the ground.
Sarah: Marlon! No!
Sarah screamed as she aimed her bow towards them.
Clementine: Try to get a shot, I'm going down!
I yelled rushing towards the door. The smoke was rising and so were the flames. I moved around the clear part of the floor and jumped down the steps that were filled with fames. Once I was away from the fire, I ran the rest of the way down the stairs and burst out the front door.
Marlon and Lilly were still fighting on the ground, while Violet and Kenny rushed towards them. Lilly somehow managed to escape Marlon's grasp as she she wrapped her arm around his neck and held her gun to his head.
Lilly: Take another fucking step and I swear I'll kill him!
She breathed out heavily.
Marlon: Guys, stop... Just.... Let her take me.
Marlon pleaded.
Kenny: Shut up kid! No way I'm letting this bitch take you!
Kenny snapped.
Lilly: You son of a bitch, I should shoot you right now. But I'm gonna take him, and leave. For once, do the smart thing and back off.
Lilly glared up at Kenny.
Yhwach approached the scene with a calm and collected demeanor. Lilly's eyes widened in shock as she saw him walking towards them, alive and well. Aizen's voice echoed within Yhwach's mind
Aizen: (whispering) It seems that lilly has adapted and changed, just as we all do in this world. An interesting transformation.
Yhwach's attention remained focused on Lilly as he reached the standoff. Marlon was still held captive, and tension filled the air.
Yhwach: Release him, Lilly.
He spoke with a stern authority, his gaze piercing through her defiant demeanor.
Lilly hesitated for a moment, her eyes narrowing as she assessed the situation.
Lilly: Why should I?, and we could use someone like you, Yhwach. Join the Delta. We could use your strategic mind.
Yhwach: (firmly) I refuse. I won't align myself with your cause.
Lilly: (smirking) You're always so principled. But principles won't keep you alive in this world.
Yhwach: (stoically) Survival does not require compromising one's principles. Now, release him.
Lilly tightened her grip on Marlon, her gun still pointed at his head.
Lilly: (defiant) No. We'll take him, and We'll take everyone here aswell.
Yhwach: That won't happen.
Marlon looked up slightly as he saw Sarah standing on the broken balcony. He shook his head pleading with his eyes for her not to shoot. I could tell he felt like he deserved it. Suddenly a gun shot went off from the front gate causing us to drop.
Lilly dragged Marlon away as they loaded him onto the one cart that was still in tact and disappeared behind the flames.
As she exited with what was left of her group, walkers began to move through the fire towards us. Everyone got outside and we fought off the walkers untill the front yard was clear.
Yhwach and Kenny put the fire out and did what they could to block off the entrance. I turned noticing Abel still laying on the ground. Violet approached me as I stepped over towards Abel.
Violet: What are we gonna do with him?
She questioned.
Soon everyone was behind me waiting for my answer. I sighed and chuckled.
Clementine: This is proof that you and your group are nothing but savages. They left you here and that's something we never would have done to anyone in our group. Hurt or not, we would try to help. Lock him up and we'll deal with him once we finish getting this place cleaned up.
I shook my head turning away.
I heard Abel groan as Kenny snatched him up and dragged him to the cellar with Brody and Violets help. Sarah walked over to me with tears in her eyes.
Sarah: Why would he be so stupid? He just let Lilly take him.
She shook her head.
Tears ran down her face as her breathing increased and she crouched down covering her face. She was slipping back into her panic and I couldn't let that happen.
Clementine: Sarah, look at me.
I spoke crouching down in front of her. She continued to cover her face as she shook her head.
I grabbed her hands and gave her a stern look as her eyes met mine.
Clementine: You've come a long way from the scared girl you use to be. Remember what I taught you?
I asked.
She tried to calm her breathing as she nodded.
Clementine: Say it. What did I teach you,Sarah?
I said still holding her hands in mine.
Sarah: You taught me.... That nothing is over untill you're dead. We're still alive and we don't give up.
She breathed out taking a few deep breaths.
Clementine: Good. We're still alive, and we aren't just going to let them keep Marlon, Right? We're going to get him back, because we protect our group at all costs.
I assured her.
Sarah nodded and closed her eyes breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth before looking back into my eyes.
Sarah: We're gonna get him back. I know we will ,Clem.
She nodded.
Sam slowly made his way passed me and towards Sarah, nudging his nose to the side of her face with a slight whimper.
Sarah's breath quivered as she wrapped her arms around Sam.
Sarah: I'm okay... I'm... I'm okay
she said through deep breaths and a trembling voice.
I stood up looking around as Lee approached me.
Lee: You did it, Clem. You saved everyone.
He smiled placing his hand on my shoulder.
I shook my head.
Clementine: But I couldn't save Marlon. We just... Let him go. How am I any better than he was when he let them take the twins?
I sighed.
Lee: Marlon didn't want to be saved, Sweet Pea. There was nothing we could have done. But I know you, Clem. You're my daughter... And I know you won't let them keep him. What makes you better, is the fact that you'll actually get him back. Because you're a true leader. And you don't fear even the toughest of people.
He spoke, a hint of anger lacing his voice. I looked up at him as he lightly gripped my shoulder.
Lee: As for what Lilly said to you... Because I heard all of that. I'm proud of who you've become, I taught you how to be a leader, how to survive... How to stand your ground in any situation. Lilly knows nothing about that, because the person who raised her was a Monster, And he raised her to be an even bigger one.
He growled.
I hadn't seen Lee actually let his anger out in a long time. Even when that guy took me, he was calm. But hearing the way Lilly tried to make me out to be some stupid kid, sent him over his limit.
Kenny: Hey, Pal. We got Abel all tied up in the cellar. He's alive, but he's lights out for now.
Kenny spoke as he approached us. He looked at Lee who never took his eyes off me.
Kenny: Everything okay?
Kenny frowned looking down at me.
Clementine: Yeah.. we were just talking about what Lilly said to me. About him teaching me all the wrong things.
I sighed.
Kenny shook his head.
Kenny: Lilly ain't shit, anything that comes outta her mouth is just a bunch of bullshit.
Clementine: We'll worry about her later, right now, we should get rid of all these bodies.
I said wanting to get it off Lee's mind.
Violet: Clem, Sarah's waiting for you in the basement. She wants to get answers now. And she's not taking no for an answer. You should help, Maybe you can get more answers out of him than we did.
Violet spoke stepping towards me and taking my hand.
I looked down at our hands thinking about what Lilly said. Minerva talked about Violet... Her girlfriend.
Lee: I'm going with you.
Lee stated not waiting for me to respond as he headed to the cellar. I lightly pulled my hand away from Violets, and followed Lee.
We stepped into the dimly lit cellar and walked further inside. Rosie lay on the ground looking away from us.
I walked over to her and bent down touching the top of her head. She looked up with a sad expression and licked my arm.
Clementine: It's okay, Rosie. I know you miss Marlon. We'll get him back, don't you worry.
I promised as I scratched her ears.
Sarah: Clem? That you?
Sarah called from behind some shelves. I stood up and walked around the shelf to see Abel tied up and slumped over in a chair.
Sarah stood in front of him with a glare on her face.
Clementine: Don't worry, Sarah. We'll find out where Lilly took Marlon.
I nodded placing my hand on her shoulder and glaring over at Abel.
Lee stepped closer to Abel and back handed him across the face causing him to jump out of his sleep.
Abel: What the fuck...
he groaned looking around.
Abel: Well, that ain't no way to wake an old man from his afternoon nap.
He choked out, blood dripping from his lips and nose.
Sarah: Just be glad that's all he did.
Sarah shot back angrily.
Abel: I was having such a good dream though. Dreamt about a girl I use to know... Before all this. She also had me tied up but I wasn't her prisoner if you know what I mean.
He laughed before going into a coughing fit, spitting out blood in the process.
Clementine: How about you just shut the fuck up and listen. We want answers now. Where did Lilly take Marlon?
I questioned not wanting to listen to his nonsense.
Abel: Well that's too bad little girl. I ain't telling you shit.
He spat causing Rosie to growl from where she lay on the ground.
Lee punched Abel in the face causing him to groan in pain.
Lee: Don't make this harder than it has to be. Just answer the Goddamn question!
He snapped while Abel continued to choke on his blood.
Abel: It don't matter. Soon as she gets there she's gonna turn right back around and come right back for me. So you'd better give me the royal treatment-
Sarah gripped Abel's hair and slammed his head into the desk on the school chair he was tied to.
Sarah: We don't want to hear your bullshit! Where is Marlon!
She exclaimed her voice dripping with anger.
Abel: Jesus! The fuck is wrong with you??
Abel groaned as he glared at Sarah.
Clementine: Tell us where She took Marlon! Or it's just gonna get worse for you. You think Lilly's gonna come back?? Well if she does, we'll kill her and whoever else she brings on site. Now start talking.
I demanded slamming my hands onto the desk.
Abel: She'll never give him up. Only reason we came here was for more manpower. Losing Yonatan and me, for a weak kid like Marlon, even a dummy like me can do the math on that one.
He said through heavy breaths.
Clementine: We're gonna get him back.
I stated firmly.
Abel: You don't know what it's like out there! It's a bloodbath, one community against another, from Richmond to the coast. Lee: So because you're at war, you want to kidnap a bunch of kids and send them on a suicide mission? Fuck your war! This is your battle, Not the kids at this school, I should fucking kill you right now!
Lee snapped stepping towards Abel.
I quickly grabbed his arm and looked up at him.
Clementine: We need answers first.
I pointed out causing him to sigh in frustration nodding his head. I looked over at Abel and frowned.
Clementine: We don't give a shit about your war. Or your fucking Delta. Forcing a bunch of kids to do your dirty work, just because you were too weak to handle it yourselves, is a stupid move. You definitely fucked with the wrong kids, don't you think?
I gave him a disgusted look as I shook my head.
Abel: You think we like doing raids like this?
He questioned anger flashing in his eyes.
Clementine: I don't give a fuck what you like or don't like! You tried to force a bunch of kids to fight a battle that had nothing to do with them. The only thing we need from you right now is the location. Now tell us what we want to know.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
Lee: And that's the last warning. Start talking, or I'm gonna lose my patience.
Lee added with a warning look on his face.
Abel sighed and looked down for a second.
Abel: Alright... Left pocket. The answer to all your questions.
He finally spoke. As I stepped forward to check him, Lee stepped forward too daring Abel to make a wrong move.
I checked the pockets of his jacket before finding one of those Bible page cigarette's he was always smoking.
Abel: Read it.
He insisted as I looked down at the cigarette confused.
Clementine: Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat? What the fuck is this. Stop playing games with me!
I gritted through my teeth and I stepped towards him.
Abel: It's Leviticus. I was hoping It'd be some timely moralistic shit about turning the other cheek.
Abel: Well? What are you waiting on. That thing ain't gonna light itself.
He shook his head. Sarah took her gun out and slapped him across the face with it causing more blood to spew from his lips.
She latched her fingers around the chest part of his jacket before snatching him forward so that he was looking her in the eyes.
Sarah: I'm not fucking playing with you. I will put this bullet through your skull right now if you don't tell us where the FUCK did Lilly take Marlon!
She yelled hitting him in the head with the butt of the gun before pressing it to his temple.
Abel coughed violently causing Sarah to push him out of her face as she stepped back. He continued to cough until he was coughing up so much blood that I almost thought he would just pass out and not wake up... Only coming back as a walker.
Abel: Oh, fuck...this is not good...
Abel said trying to breath.
Abel: When you pushed me off that balcony, something must've burst inside of me. Shit... I never wanted things to end like this. Everything... It all got out of hand. Now look at me, I'm a fucking mess.
Abel spoke in a softer tone.
Lee: Girls, stay back. He might turn.
Lee said to Sarah and I causing Abel to shake his head.
Abel: No! Don't let me turn into one of those things.
He pleaded through deep breaths.
Clementine: You're already just like them. Why should I let you live when you keep playing these dumb games? You need to tell us what we want to know.
I demanded.
Abel struggled to catch his breath as he was on the verge of tears.
Abel: My whole life, everything I ever got, I got it with my own two hands and my will. For my body to turn on me...take control... I'll tell you where to find Lilly. Just promise you won't let me turn.
He begged.
I looked at Lee and he nodded.
Lee: Start talking, now... Before it's too late to put you out of your misery.
He said.
Abel: Okay... We have a boat. We're docked a few miles west of here. At an old fishing pier. Your friend is on the boat. There's your answers. Now please, don't let me become one of those things. Please... I don't wanna turn.
He whimpered begging to be put out of his misery.
Lee pulled out his gun and aimed it at Abel shooting him in the head.
Lee: We got what we needed now let's plan our attack.
He said turning and walking away. Sarah and I looked at each other and followed him out of the Cellar with Rosie close behind us.
