"The human army sure is a lot, what kingdom are they from again?" Leila asked as she stood at the top of the towering walls, gazing out at the sprawling human army as they marched towards the demon kingdom.
Squinting through her shaded lenses, Leila discerned the details of the army. Their flamboyant armor glittered in the sunlight, and they rode an array of monstrous beasts. Each soldier bore a distinct weapon and a strange large shield. While sleek airships floated above them, they had cannons on their side and on them stood robed figures wielding arcane staffs and wore black robes.
Massive golems trailed behind the human army, causing the earth to tremble with every step they took. And hovering beside the golems all were thousand sword-wielding soldiers with indifferent expressions, flying through the air on swords as if it were their natural domain. Leila clicked her tongue in displeasure. "This is going to be tough. I may not emerge from this battle unscathed."
The young man with horns at her side trembled, on the verge of tears. Leila grinned darkly, savoring the fear she inspired. "Do not weep, Melkey. I was only joking." Melkey called down a bit hearing her words.
She paused, her smile faltering. "Well, perhaps only ten percent of what I said was a joke." and Melkey froze.
He sighed as he watched Leila's white hair flutter with the wind and looked at the army ahead of them.
"I heard they came from a country called Euin," Melkey revealed, and Leila looked at him surprised.
"Oh, the kingdom of magic," Leila sneered, "The one who has allied with the Gurin Sect? They are really going all out on a bunch of demons," Leila sneered, "I won't let them have their fun, get my soldiers ready, we were stationed on the walls to protect the kingdom."
"Yes Master Leila," Melkey replied before leaping off the roof.
Leila's eyes narrowed, her gaze as cold and hard as ice. "I will not allow them to harm the Demon King, no matter the cost," she muttered.

"Marcus, is this really a good idea, I mean to fight the demons?" A fair man in white armor asked, his face etched with worry. He turned to look at the imposing figure of a middle-aged man beside him, who sat astride a large floating sword.
The man's piercing brown eyes were fixed upon him, his dark skin glistening in the sun, and his muscular frame was draped in a heavy robe that barely concealed his broad chest. He covered his chest properly and stared at the young man while stroking his brown beard.
"Are you questioning the King's authority, to engage in this battle, Noude?" He asked with a deep frightening voice that caused Noude to tremble a bit, but Noude looked at him with determined eyes, "Of course, I would, why does it seem we're all cannon fodder here?"
"What do you mean?" Marcus asked, a bit curious about what Noude meant.
Noude took in deep breaths and turned to survey the army behind him. The soldiers all fidgeted, a few having a bit of confidence but the rest, their trembling armor gave them away. He then turned to look at the demon army before him that loomed before them, "Don't you realize all of us who are participating here, were either forced to join, or we had no choice! The nobles here are outcasts from their homes, and the fighters here are mercenaries or ordinary men. And we're going against those monsters," Noude bit his lips until they bled and Marcus sighed.
"Just do your best to survive. Even if we wanted to surrender, the demons hate us too much to allow us to live. So at least pretend to fight bravely," Marcus gave a fake smile. "Let's just protect as many people as we can, our main aim is to reduce our casualties."
"So we're just sent here to weaken their army for the main unit to come after we're all dead?! Those bastards…..are so damn cruel," Noude cried under his hood, his voice tinged with anger and despair, "I just wish this meaningless war would end."
Marcus got up on his floating sword, summoning a sword of pure light that blazed with divine power in his hand and pointed it at the demons, "We fight with valor, with courage, with all the strength we can muster," he declared. "And we fight for each other, for the sake of those who cannot fight for themselves. We will not win this war alone, but we will make a difference. We will hold the line, for as long as we can. Show no fear!! And let's kill the demons!!" He yelled fiercely.
Noude nodded, his expression grim. "I understand," he said, drawing his own sword, "We may be cannon fodder, but we will not be easy prey. We will fight with all our might, and we will make them pay."
With a fierce cry, Marcus and Noude led their armies forward, swords clashing against the onslaught of the demons. The ground shook with the force of the battle, and blood flowed like a river. And though the odds were against them, the warriors fought on, their spirits unbroken, their hearts alight with the fires of hope and determination.

"We're at the gates of the demon kingdom," a group of soldiers in black armor let out a triumphant cheer as they arrived at the entrance of the demon kingdom. But their voices died out as they turned to witness the apocalyptic battle raging behind them.
The battle seemed like a hell on earth. The air crackled with magic as mages from both sides hurled deadly spells at each other, but it was evident that the demons held the upper hand.
A colossal dragon, its scaly hide made of molten lava, spewed forth a barrage of flames that rained down on the flying ships. Even the bravest cultivators who tried to engage it were swiftly reduced to ash
And then, a hulking winged beast descended from the skies, unleashing a deadly shower of razor-sharp feathers as sharp as sword, that impaled the soldiers, killing most of them.
The men in black armor trembled, but someone clicked his tongue.
"Their death was inevitable so don't waste your time mourning them, our mission is to slaughter the demon scum that resides behind these walls," declared a man with black robes a 'Z' emblazoned on his chest, his voice betraying a wide grin. He rode on a griffin and landed on the ground near the walls.
"Smash it open!" He commanded and the mages behind them were about to smash it open with a young girl around fifteen appeared before them. She wore a maid outfit and held a large great white sword.
"You humans really piss me off, I want to see your whole race burn to ashes!" Leila spoke coldly and the man in robes sneered at her.
"What is one demon woman gonna do against an army of a thousand people, all above level 50," the man asked as he looked down on Leila, not noticing her hidden smirk.
"It's the ninth battle maid of the Demon Queen, the Crying Flame!" A cultivator screamed in terror as he almost fell from his sword.
"You said what?!!" The man in black robes asked, a bit surprised by Leila's identity.
"Shit it's really the crying flame, I'd notice that hair anywhere," another person cried and the once-unified group began to fall apart.
"That blasphemous dragon that devoured others of her own race, disgusting," the man in black robes spat, eyeing Leila with contempt.
"I had to kill them, anyone who betrays my Demon King deserves nothing more than death," Leila replied calmly with a smile that sent shivers down their spines.
"General Tonwo," a man in the same robes as Tonwo called out.
"There's no need to panic among all the Demon Generals, she's the weakest," Tonwo waved his hand dismissively and unsheathed his sword.
Leila chuckled and began to take off her shades revealing her mismatched eyes. One eye of hers that was blue and the other that looked like a white crystal, "I may be weak, but you shouldn't deny one's resolve to vanquish their enemies." she warned.
"Don't look at her eyes, you'll turn into a mindless flame demon," Tonwo warned, but he was too late.
"Sir why does my body feel like @$&#-# I'm….on fireeee," a knight yelled in agony, and his body immediately burst into white flames, but he didn't die. He immediately attacked the other knights near him, forcing them to immediately open their eyes and also transform into mindless flames monsters.
"This is quite easier than I expected," Leila cackled evilly and Tonwo gritted his teeth and glared at her. Despite him staring at her, he didn't burst into flame like the others.
"Your skill can only work on those weaker than you. So, it isn't going to work on me!!" Tonwo yelled and dashed towards Leila with his two spears, and they clashed with her sword. They exchanged a barrage of blows but Tonwo seemed to get the upper hand as he landed a hard drop-kick on her gut, causing her to fly back and crash on the ground.
Leila immediately rose to her feet, brushing off the dust that clung to her garments. She eyed Tonwo with caution.
"Prepare your shields!" The knights warned each other as the flame demons were taken care of.
Leila let out a sinister chuckle, mocking the knights' efforts, "Do you really think your shields can protect you from my flames?" she taunted.
Tonwo's response was chilling. His voice was distorted and a raging aura enveloped his body, causing the very earth to tremble. "Who said the shields were meant for you?!!" he growled and the surroundings begun to crumble.
"I would show the true power of an elder in the Z sect," Tonwo raised his sword and slashed at her and the kingdom walls with unparalleled force.
In a few seconds, Leila's body was slashed in half and the walls of the demon kingdom began to slide off each other. Leila watched in horror as this happened and cursed under her breath, "Who knew they would secretly send a level 1000 here? A Berserker, your class, is always a pain in the ass, you know!! I guess I only have one choice now."
"As the price of my arm, please slaughter all my enemies, KING!!" Leila yelled as her body reattached itself together, and she tore off her arm and threw it into the sky. A large space appeared and a huge head bit on the arm and swallowed it.
Everyone was in silence as a large 500 feet distorted space appeared before the walls of the demon king. A white crystal hand emerged from within and pulled itself out of the space.
It looked down to see Leila and had a creepy smile on its face, "Your wish is my command my Diamond," He spoke and Leila gulped. King wore an armor of a King and had five swords around him, he looked down at the people below him and took out his sword, causing them to tremble.
"Shit!! To think she summoned that," the Lava dragon cursed and immediately yelled, "All demons enter the kingdom at once!!" Hearing her command, the demon soldiers who were alive immediately took a sheet of paper and tore it, and they immediately disappeared.
"What is everyone getting so frightened about? It's just a golem," Tonwo said nervously, but his hands were trembling.
King raised his sword high as a bright white light covered it, and Leila began to bleed from her eyes, ears, and nose. "Ecludburst!!" He yelled slashing the sword and unleashing a burning wave of white light into the land, and immediately turning the enemies into nothingness and destroying the surrounding areas. The demons watched in fear at the destruction caused by the being's slash, only Leila was spared. Leila floated into King's palms, and he stared at her with a frown.
"Don't summon me if you can't handle the price to pay," he warned as he placed the unconscious Leila on the kingdom walls and disappeared.
