In a spacious and elegant room, there were crystal-paneled walls with a large crystal table in the center of the floor. There was an enormous globe containing the universe on top, and a huge chandelier adorned with swirls, stars, and sparkling candles overhead. Behind the large tinted windows was a city floating in the sky, many flying vehicles passed by, and the night was beautifully illuminated by the many stars and all the blues and purples you can imagine.
In the chairs around the table sat seven people, all with different expressions on their faces. Some were calm, anxious, and ecstatic. There was one thing they all had in common, they seemed to be made of crystals. Their bodies glittered like white gems and were as smooth as jade stones.
( Assume that their names represent the gems they look like )
"I believe you know why we are gathered here today?" Moonstone spoke, and everyone in the room nodded. She was a woman who wore a green dress and had white hair styled as large pigtails that fluttered when she spoke. Her white eyes were so calm and unwavering that they almost seemed emotionless. She stared at the tablet in her hands and swiped the screen to reveal a white diamond.
"You all felt the gem's aura, right?" Natrolite, who had a bob haircut that matched her fierce eyes, asked. Looking around, she saw everyone appeared uneasy.
"I did, but it feels different. The soul is different!" Castorite answered nervously. He appeared to be younger than the others, though there was no age difference. He had short curly yellow hair and a pair of innocent-looking white eyes.
"A second generation, how marvelous," Ulexite grinned. He had white hair styled in a bun. He wore a black robe that seemed like a suit, his body was more muscular than the others, and on his head was a white hoop.
"Doesn't it mean the White Diamond of Peace and Light is truly dead?" Scolecite, a woman with white permed hair and cold green eyes, asked dryly, a hint of grief sounding in her voice. She wore a wine-red dress, she seemed to be pink or rather salmon in color, and three spheres flapped around her head.
Everyone nodded sympathetically, as a moment of silence filled the room.
"Well, she wasn't so peaceful," Moonstone stated with no remorse, and the others nodded.
"I agree, the White Diamond got fooled by the Golden Diamond and the Black Diamond, despite the fact that we warned her, she still tried to kill us," Howlite shook his head as he remembered Diamond striking him with her sword. He touched his face, causing the mask to fade and reveal the broken one that looked like shattered glass. His features couldn't be properly distinguished.
"Will our new Diamond be any different though?" Natrolite asked with an uneasy tone as everyone else wondered the same thing.
"We won't know until we meet her,' Moonstone answered calmly.
"I bet she's cute, beautiful, and ruthless," Ulexite said happily, a smile spreading across his face.
"More like them, there are two," Moonstone added, and everyone raised an eyebrow.
"Since when?" Castorite asked, confusion written all over his face.
"Probably twins," White Howlite stated, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Are they both in the same dimension?" Ulexite asked, staring at Moonstone as his eyes seemed to sparkle.
"Yes, but in different universes," Moonstone answered as she waved her hand over the globe and it expanded to reveal a dimension with two bright lights in an image that looked like a cluster of sparkling dust.
"Where did you feel their gems from?" White Howlite asked, with a hint of confusion in his voice.
"I felt it from Dimension 236; universe numbers 5 and 30," Moonstone answered as she swiped her hand again and the sphere expanded into the dimension, revealing the glowing universes that contained the two gems. The universe looked like an array of purple and green lights that illuminated the dark empty space. It was a beautiful sight to see: the two universes each coiled, making it look like a spiral hollow.
"That Regal-infested Dimension?" Natrolite spat, crossing her arms.
"Sadly, yes," Moonstone replied.
"We should definitely start searching for them immediately!" Ulexite stated, getting up from his seat.
"We need a concrete plan first!" Castorite berated, holding her scythe before Ulexite to stop him from leaving. Ulexite glared at her as she frowned at him.
"Who needs a plan? We can just bust in there and kill them all!!" Ulexite stated, crossing his arms.
"Are you forgetting we aren't the strongest beings in the universe? The Regals have more than enough strength to fight against us" Natrolite said, galling Ulexite, who looked away as though he didn't hear her. She frowned as veins appeared on her forehead.
"Natrolite is right, they may be failed experimental creations, but they grow to be extremely powerful by eating other beings and conducting mass killings." White Howlite stated, easing the tension in the room.
"Let's not forget they have a high reproduction rate, unlike Diamonds who have an extremely slim chance of having children. Us Gems can't even reproduce…" White Topaz, a woman with long, wavy hair, dressed in blue armor, added as she shook her head.
"So, what should we do? We can't find out where exactly she is and the communication line to the new Pearl isn't working either," Ulexite pouted.
"New Pearl, huh? So it means Selenite is dead too," White Howlite said in a sad tone and everyone's faces changed. They gritted their teeth as some seemed to tear up.
Silence filled the room as Moonstone closed her eyes and touched the gem on her chest.
_________
"Moonstone, you and the others should immediately leave planet Sorphus. White Diamond is coming." A beautiful crystalline woman looked up at the sky as she stood on top of a large skyscraper. She pursed her lips and looked at the space coldly. Two swords-like guns appeared in her hands as she raised them. She had long white hair that seemed like glass much like her shimmery flesh. The woman wore a robe and high heels. She was over eight feet tall.
"How did she find us so quickly?" Moonstone asked as she nervously bit her nails.
Selenite looked at Moonstone and bent down to pay her head, "You and the others should evacuate as many gems as you can! Prepare the spaceships at once," she ordered before standing up.
"You will escape with us, right?" Moonstone asked Selenite, who looked back at her and smiled.
"Well, I hope so…now quickly spread the message!" Selenite stated urgently, Moonstone immediately nodded and pressed something on the tablet in her hand.
A male voice boomed, the sound rang across the whole planet, coming from megaphones spread strategically throughout . All over the world, the same recording was played repeatedly, [ Evacuate to the escape ship. Evacuate in an orderly manner. Every gem must leave at once. Grab your weapons to defend yourself as well as others. ]
"She's here!" someone shrieked as everyone looked up to see thousands of metal spaceships that covered the sky, several Gems descended from them. Though unlike the others they were multicolored and appeared in all shapes and sizes, some grotesque others beautiful.
Selenite flew towards them and glared at a woman who slowly descended. A figure emerged from the darkness from behind the Regals, who parted ways for her. She stood tall and proud, like she owned the universe. Her armor shone brightly with the light of the gems as if it was made of diamonds themselves. It was so shiny that the gems reflected her in all her glory. The armor glittered with thousands of small crystals embedded into it, which gave it even greater beauty. She was over eleven feet tall. Her long white crystalline hair flowed down to her waist, and it almost touched her ankles. Her white eyes shined brightly under her hood, which was covering half of her face. She had a spear that was strapped to her back. She was beautiful beyond compare and intimidating as well. As Selenite scanned white, she saw streaks of black lines around her body that seemed like dark sparks. Her eyelids her dark and on her lips was a wicked grin.
Selenite pursed her lips as she thought, 'This is not the Diamond I once knew.'
The Regal could sense fear coming from the other gems so they smiled evilly, each brandishing their weapons, ready for an attack. Some of the gems backed up in terror, others just stared at her with wide-open mouths, while others fled to the ships in fear and panic.
"White Diamond, stop this at once, it's not right!" Selenite yelled at White Diamond. Several Regals gripped their guns, pointing them at Selenite, but White Diamond raised her hand, signaling them to stop.
"Do you think I would listen to an insignificant Pearl who immediately betrayed her master?" White Diamond glared down at Selenite coldly.
Selenite held her chest, her eyes wavering. Moonstone watched their conversation nervously before signaling the others on her tablet around the planet to continue the evacuation. "You would kill your own people?! Your own creation?"
White Diamond looked at her and tilted her head. "Of course, as you can see, I promised the Regals your souls in return for their battle power. You all are so weak that I can't even rely on you. Also, you had the audacity to run away when I asked you to join me. So now please die for me, my dear Pearl Selenite!" White Diamond grinned.
"White Diamond!!" Selenite yelled in rage, her massive aura falling intimidating the Regals, but it didn't intimidate White Diamond.
"Kill them all," White Diamond ordered, and the Regal dashed towards the planet.
"Let us help you Selenite," Ulexite said to Selenite telepathically, but she shook her head.
"There's no need, just focus on running away. That is our number one goal!" Selenite yelled and her voice vibrated throughout the entire planet so everyone heard her. "I'll buy you all the time to escape," she added and waved her hand, and a white protective shield covered the planet.
***
"Everyone flee to the ship and fly into the portal!!" she added as huge white portals shaped like a pearl appeared behind the ships all around the planet.
"Don't let those gems escape!!" White commanded, and the Regals stabbed their weapons into the shield and cast several explosive attacks all over the planet, but they couldn't breach the shield.
"Everyone, escape now," Antarcticite yelled as dashed around the planet, and grabbed gems who were behind, and teleported them to the ships before going for others.
"Everyone, escape at once," Moonstone yelled, jumping down from a floating skyscraper.
She pushed her way through the crowd of gems and jumped up toward the sky, landing on her with a loud thump that echoed around the spaceship station.
The gems followed her lead and leaped from the windows of buildings as quickly as they could, some of them slipping and falling in their haste to get out of the buildings. They had escaped into the city streets and were running towards the nearest ship they could find. The ships that were full took off and entered the white portals as more ships were being materialized by Castorite and White Howlite.
"There's something coming," one gem said.
They glanced back just in time to see Regals descending through a part of the shield that collapsed, which made way for them to enter.
A second later, enormous sonic blasts were fired at the gems, causing buildings to collapse and killing some gems. Some gems gripped their weapons and dashed towards the hoard of Regals, fighting them off and killing some in the process.
"Run!" Moonstone screamed and started sprinting across the skies without waiting to see if anyone else was going to follow her. Her nails grew long like swords and she immediately used them to slash down real Regals. She then grabbed a Regal and punched her in the guts and kicked her several kilometers away and she crashed into some buildings. She looked at the others and gritted her teeth before smiling, "I'm gonna make you mother fuckers pay for everything you have done!!"
Other Regals began to slaughter the gems, and they devoured their bodies. The gem's body was a feast for the Regals, as their sharp fangs pierced through their body. They ripped it apart and ate out every last drop of the gem before moving onto the next one. However, the gems didn't make things easy for them either. As others were fleeing, some stood behind and defended.
