Nats POV
So they aren't a thing and it's all been in my head. Well mostly. So Spencer is available. I wouldn't be crossing any lines by asking her out. Well, I guess I should ask Yelena first, I don't want to intrude on their friendship either.
Wait a damn minute. So all those times I thought I was crazy thinking Spencer was flirting, she was actually flirting.. right?
"So, wait. You're just friends? And there's no feelings?" I know I'm repeating myself but I want to be sure, ya, know?
They both shake their heads as Spencer responds, "there was definitely some heavy flirting at first but our relationship grew as friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. I know we may tease each other a bit now but we're just comfortable in a friendly way, ya know?"
I actually let out a breath, which earns me a smirk from Yelena. I send her a glare before turning my attention back to Spencer. "So.. were you.. actually flirting with me before?" I say a little unsure.
"Yes, love," that smirk. "Wait, so you thought I was flirting with you while dating Yelena?" She sounds kind of hurt.
"Well no, not really. I thought it was all in my head and you just had a flirty personality?" I make it into a question because it sounds kind of bad now that I'm saying it out loud.
"Ouch. Glad you think so highly of me."
"No! That's not how I meant it. I, I just thought that like.. ugh I guess I was just hoping.." I'm stumbling over my words because I don't know how to get out of this. Help me!
She laughs. "Oh, so you were hoping I was flirting with you while dating your sister?" She's full on messing with me now.
I give up, letting out a sigh. "I don't know. I wasn't sure what was happening. I thought you were together, but maybe not?"
"Hey, relax. I'm just messing. You don't really know me and didn't know the situation. No one is holding anything against you." I want to know you though, in so many ways..
"Well.." Yelena starts.
Spencer glares at her, quirking her eyebrow in a challenge.
"No we don't hold it against you. It's kind of funny. Especially since we don't think about each other like that at all."
I can breath. They don't hate me and Spencer didn't pick up on the fact I said I hoped she was flirting with me. Even though I kind of hoped she did.
Should I make a move? Yes. Nope, have to talk to Yelena first. And maybe the flirting really is just sort of her personality and I'm still just reading into this wrong. What am I going to do anyway? I leave in a week.
"So, you were hoping I was flirting with you, huh?" And that brings me right out of my thoughts.
"Uh.. maybe"

Yelenas POV
I am finding this whole interaction highly entertaining. It's clear they both want each other. Nat didn't do anything because she thought we were together, which makes sense now. I could have sworn she swooned the first time she saw her at our parents place.
Spencer.. well she was flirting the whole time. Just thought Nat didn't want to act on it. Of course it's all just harmless, right? I mean Nat will be leaving and Spencer won't risk dating another avenger.
They're both attractive so it just makes sense. And with Spencer's flirty nature and Nat probably not being laid in awhile, I was almost expecting it before they met.
Spencer is laying it on thick right now too. Nat is trying to talk to her and Spencer just keeps coming back at her, making her all tongue tied. I'm surprised Nat didn't start making the moves once she knew she wasn't actually taken. It's like she doesn't know what to do.
Not going to lie, watching Nat squirm under Spencer's teasing is hilarious. I've never seen Nat like this before. It's almost like.. wait. She's usually so confident. Usually she's the one making the moves and has the other person in the palm of her hand. It's almost like she's shy. Like.. like she.. oh shit. Does Nat actually have feelings for her?!

Spencer's POV
Nat is putty in my hand and I am loving it. What's the harm of some heavy flirting? It doesn't mean anything, she's leaving soon, and it would never happen anyway. Could never happen.
No, I am not trying to convince myself, you're trying to convince yourself. Whatever.
I have the black widow blushing like a tomato and I am soaking up every second of it. I imagine she doesn't let this happen too often. Come to think of it, I'm surprised she is. I really must be a charmer.
Hopefully Yelena doesn't mind. She is her sister. And she's Alexei and Melinas daughter.. and an avenger.. ah leave me alone. She's gorgeous and her laugh is the best sound I've ever heard. Her blushing is adorable and I can't help but want to make both continue to happen. I'm not mushy, you are.
I glance over at Yelena to try and get a read on how she feels about this right now, which I suppose I should lighten up with either way.
She is definitely holding back a laugh. She's finding the situation funny. Good, so she doesn't care. I respond to Natasha, deepening her blush once more. Then look at Yelena again, sure she's about to burst out in laughter.
She's not. She seems almost confused? Or like she's deep in thought. Her brows are furrowed and she has her left hand over her mouth. Huh, guess she was laughing at this situation?

Nats POV
Spencer has me a mumbling mess. And not in the way I'd really like her to..
Mm no, we won't go there. She ramped up the flirting times ten. I don't know what's happening to me. I am usually the one controlling these situations but I can't help it. I get caught up in the glisten in her eyes as she teases me. Or the smirk she hasn't wiped off her face yet. Or just how she lightly drums her fingers absentmindedly while talking.
I am paying attention to what she's saying. I want to hear everything she tells me, I want to know everything about her she'd tell me. But I also can't help that I'm getting distracted by her as well. She's making it very hard to focus on her.
Well you know what I mean.
"You okay there Natty?" Her flirtatious tone still very evident but the nickname is new.
"Natty?"
"Don't like it?"
"No, I didn't say that. It was just different." I almost don't care what she calls me as long as she's talking to me. That's bad right? Like I should get my shit together. Get my head back in reality?
Probably right.
"Good, I might just keep it. So, what would both of you ladies like to drink next?"
I hadn't realized we had finished the bottle of vodka, although I don't think I've taken a drink since I found out they aren't together.
"You know what I want," Yelena replies. She seems like she was almost in a bit of a daze. Weird.
"Yeah, yeah. Your wish is my command," Spencer says as she bows slightly. Then she turns to me, still close from where we had sat next to each other on the floor.
"And what would you like.." she trails off while leaning in closer to my ear growling lowly, "princess."
Oh damn. Goosebumps could be seen all over my body. If one was looking. She got me there. I'm a little disappointed in myself at how much I liked hearing her call me that. I closed my eyes for a moment so I could gather myself and respond.
"I'll have whatever Yelena is having."
"Coming right up, love. Don't talk about me too much while I'm gone." She winks at me before taking herself to the kitchen to prepare whatever the hell Yelena likes to drink.
I watched as she sauntered away, taking in how cute she was in her simple sweatpants and loose sweater.
"Need a towel for that drool, сестра?" My head snaps to Yelena to catch her smirking at my obviousness.
I try to play it off, "what are you taking about? I was just checking out your place." Yeah, I don't think I played that off well.
"Pfft. More like checking out Spencer's assets," Yelena giggles as she calls me out. Yeah maybe she doesn't need another drink. Nor do I, I'm sure.
Luckily Spencer walks back in at that moment, hopefully not hearing what Yelena said. If she did, she doesn't comment on it. So I'm guessing she didn't hear it because I feel like she would of had some kind of come back, ya know?
"Here you go Lena," she hands her a glass with clear liquid, then turns to me handing me one as well. "And for you princess," she says so low I almost don't hear it. Almost.
I swallow hard before I respond, "Uh, actually I think I should probably be cut off." I start to hand her the glass back but she just chuckles shaking her head.
"It's just water."
"Oh."
"Awe, you're no fun," Yelena huffs out, looking at the water like it was lizard about to lick her face.
I said I should stop drinking.
I retract my hand with the water back to me and take a few sips. "Thanks, Spence."
"Anytime. Can't have my girls with hangovers tomorrow."
I can tell that the smile I get from her calling me her girl takes over my whole face.
I know, she called Yelena and I her girls. But still.
"Plus, I know how bad Yelena is, I don't need to deal with two of her," Spencer playfully jokes.
We both laugh but I say, "oh, I am nothing like Yelena."
"I feel as though that was meant to be mean." Yelena tries to glare at me. She needed the water for sure. And more.
"You know I love you."
"I love you too."
"Awe, sisterly love." Spencer makes doe eyes while blinking quickly and holding her heart. What a dork.
"Now come on, drink up so we can watch a show. I also put some nuggets in the oven. Did either of you want anything?" She deadpans. I actually think she's serious.
"Spence," Yelena starts.
"Ugh, fine. I'll put some more nuggets in the oven for you two."
"Thank youuu," she sings back to her.
"Yeah, yeah." Spence waves her hand at us as she walks back to the kitchen.
We take this opportunity to get comfortable on their huge couch, starting an episode of Parks and Recreation? Hm. Don't know if I've seen this before.
A few moments in I'm laughing and don't notice that Spencer walked back in.
"Scooch." She nods her head at me as she holds plates of nuggets. Damn, how many did she make? I move over and she takes a place in between Yelena and I, but notably sitting closer to me.
She puts the food on her lap after covering herself with some of my blanket then wraps one arm around me. I smile and lay my head on her shoulder, completely content.
