Alex POV:
It was 3am. I was typing away on my computer as usual. I had to finish this essay before it's due in a month. I have to me first.
I took a big sip of my coffee mug that Thomas, my boyfriend, got for me for our 1 year-aversarry. He's so sweet despite what other people think of him.
Ever since we started dating, he stopped bullying, stopped drinking, stopped smoking, stopped doing drugs and, most importantly, stopped raping poor girls.
He is a much better human being now... or so I thought.
I get a text from Thomas at around 3:45am.
Macaroni❤: Hey, u up??
TheOther51: duh
Macaroni❤: can you come to my dorm please?
TheOther51: did something happen!? What's wrong!? Do I need to beat someone up???
Macaroni❤: you're like 4' 2" and would probably lose a fight to a 5 year old
TheOther51: I'm 5' 7" !!!!!!! I'm not smol!!!
Macaroni❤: bean
Macaroni❤: anyway just please come over

I grab my laptop and my coffee mug and leave my dorm, hoping not to wake my roommate, Hercules.
I run down the halls until I reach Thomas' dorm.
I didn't bother to knock on the door because I had a key and figured that Thomas' roommate, Samuel Seabury, was probably in "King" George's dorm.
I walked in and was unpleasantly welcomed by the smell of weed and liquor.
"Thomas...?" I asked because I didn't see him in the main living area.
I heard something break in the kitchen.
I ran to see what happened, leaving my laptop and coffee on a table.
I saw Thomas had dropped a glass of water and had collapsed on the floor.
He promised...
As I got closer I could tell he had consumed many, many bottles of alcohol and weed.
I couldn't even bare to be near him.
If this was who he was going to be then I didn't want to he with him.
I found a sticky note and wrote him a little letter.
Dear Thomas,
You promised you wouldn't drink or smoke or snort weed anymore. I know this is sudden but I can't stand when people lie to me so I have to do this now. We can't see eachother anymore. It hurts but im sorry. We're over.

I put the note over his phone where I was sure he would find it. I erased my contact from his phone then left his dorm. Ashamed I ever fell into his trap of lies.
Thomas POV:
Dear Thomas,
You promised you wouldn't drink or smoke or snort weed anymore. I know this is sudden but I can't stand when people lie to me so I have to do this now. We can't see eachother anymore. It hurts but in sorry. We're over.

That was the first thing I read after waking up.
What have I done.
It's true. You make one bad decision and your entire life falls apart. Or in my case, my entire life walked out my door.
Alex broke up with me. Why is this so hard to comprehend!?
Maybe because he is so sweet yet scary at the same time?
I already missed him but I can't go back to him. He hates me.
Great, just great.
This is why I can't have nice things. Everything goes downhill and now... my favourite person ever! Is gone for good.
