My eyes opened to the morning sun streaming in my room. I quickly sat up, checking the clock. It was only six fifteen and breakfast didn't start until seven thirty.

I scrambled to my feet, quickly gathered the clothes I would wear today, as well as the hair and makeup products I would use. Shoving it all into a backpack, I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my phone.

It was like my soul was carrying me to her. I didn't feel my feet moving. I was floating.

I softly knocked on the cabin door.

It didn't take more than ten seconds for Guidry to open the door for me.

"Good morning." I grinned at her.

"Good morning." She grunted. She was sleepy still.

"Shh— lock it back up." I nodded at her, as I moved into the room.

Guidry closed and latched the cabin, before shuffling back to her bed. She crawled in and buried herself under the blankets.

I made my way to Emily's bed, where she slept soundly. I carefully climbed on from the foot of the bed, rather than having to cross over her, allowing her to maintain her sleep state.

I slipped into the covers and found her hands. My heart slammed against my chest as soon as I made contact with her.

Her eyes opened, watching me for a moment, then her mouth spread into a small smile.

I pulled her hands into me, transferring both to one of mine, then slid the other up her arm, draping over her.

Her legs tangled with mine. Oh, how I have missed mornings with her. Her warmth burned me in the best way. My body craved her. Once she was snuggled into me, she fell back into a peaceful, light sleep.

I closed my eyes, savoring every moment with her.

This was our routine everyday of the week, besides Thursday, because that was the night I spent the night with her. It healed me. I've needed her touch, her kisses, and her cuddles. I couldn't believe the week has flown by so fast. They would be leaving first thing in the morning and I wasn't ready.

I opened my eyes once more, to watch her. She is the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on. I don't think it's possible for anyone to be nearly as perfect as she is. I studied her features. I want to wake up to this face for the rest of my life. I never want another person to know what those lips feel or taste like.

Emily's eyes finally opened, catching me staring at her. She is just so beautiful, I can't help but stare at her.

I smiled slightly at her.

"Morning." She whispered.

"Morning." I smiled, before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She stretched her neck, until her lips found mine. Although her kiss was soft and slow, my heart was racing. When she pulled away, I got engulfed by her beautiful eyes. They were deep, like the ocean, yet gentle. I couldn't move under her gaze.

"I've missed you." Her voice was raspy.

I felt my stomach twist.

"I've missed everything about you." She spoke, before kissing me again.

Her lips moved from mine, beginning to trail kisses along my skin. From my mouth, she traveled down my jaw, then to my neck.

As soon as she reached my neck, my hands flew to her arms, gripping them as if it were the only thing holding me to earth. Surely, if I had not held myself to her, I would've floated away in that moment.
