Chapter 34 : Nephew

It is one afternoon orange sky . The sun slowly moving towards the west direction slightly ,but it has still time for set . Fresh windy cool air started blowing as colourful butterflies started roaming around.

Such a peaceful evening !

After her lunch with Lee for the first time as an Empress, Edna felt happy . But sadly Emperor returned back to the imperial study room quickly. Edna don't even know if he will going to spend his night with her or not !

Edna sighed as she slowly walked around the Lotus lake. Finally she could enjoy scenery of Lotus lake as the Empress. After the previous accident, Edna feared to steps near the Lotus lake . But now she is used to it . Looking at the blooming pink lotus flowers, she felt peace . Edna took a deep breath as a strong gusts of wind started blowing towards her direction .

Sudden giggling from a child broke her peace moment quickly . That sweet but milky voice makes her curious. Suddenly she was greeted with a tiny figure , who came running towards her .

" Awoty ." A sweet voice called her name .

Feeling a slight grasp on her lower part of the dress, Edna looked down . She is greeted with her nephew , Princess Rubi's son - Gon . Sweetly smiling at her , Gon started shaking her dress .

Gon wasn't afraid of strangers and had a sharp memory. He recognised Edna instantly and ran over her direction. He was the loveliest child Edna ever seen in her life .

Looking at the chubby little nephew of her, Edna broke into a sweet smile . She only patted his head .

Gon turned Four years old already . Time surely passing through quickly. That little baby suddenly started running now ! By listening to his pleasant voice , Edna felt peace again .

Thinking about her recent awkward relationship with Princess Rubi, Edna let out a heavy sigh . Out of nowhere princess Rubi became isolated from her company . After taking care of late Concubine Nina's daughter Aimei , princess Rubi's attitude towards her changed drastically . Edna always felt strange ! After becoming the Empress , Princess Rubi had forbidden Gon to enter her golden palace. She could only meet her nephew unexpectedly for some time in outside !

Due to her work loads, Edna couldn't able to visit princess Rubi personally . And here , princess Rubi give her a kind of unfamiliarity nowadays.

" Awoty , Awoty !" Suddenly desperately Gon started calling for her name , hugging onto her leg. While his little hands also pulled her robes . It was clear that he is aiming for her attention through his cute acts . Edna end up hiding her secret smile .

" Yes ." Sweetly Edna replied .

"Hug !" Little Gon lifted his hand upwards directly . It seem he was tired from doing all his cute acts. Edna only shook her head and then quickly hold him. Very soon Gon dropped his head onto her shoulder. Edna lightly started patting his chubby back as little Gon quickly fall asleep .

Looking at his rosy chubby face, Edna know he was running . So after some work out, he will definitely feel drowsiness.

" Young master ! Where are you ?"

Two young maids started calling his name and desperately searching for him as they panted hard . Looking at Edna's shoulder , they went towards Edna's direction . Edna quickly stopped them.

" Your Highness, Princess Rubi has been searching for young master ." Quitely one of the maid spoke .

" Oh !" Edna nodded as she started walking . Looking at her , maids were dumbstruck. They felt helpless, their Empress didn't understand the meaning.
