Chapter 123 : Marriage,her trust and facade

Everyone dropped on their knees as the groom slowly started walking towards the carriage . The scene was somehow dull yet heavy. People were bowing everywhere yet she stood firmly, probably dumbstruck !

Looking at the groom, I felt numb. All I wished , to run towards him, shout and scream. But I was froze on the same place. Tears slowly escaped from my eyes continuously.... my voice struck on my throat, feeling a strange pain inside my heart.

My eyes followed him as he gracefully stepped towards the bridal carriage. Step by step as he was crossing the staircase, a lump made his way into my throat. It was quite painful and all I was becoming breathless.

Who is she ? My eyes started searching for an anwer. But heart felt numb.

With a loud gasp, following by rough hurried panting , Edna woke up. Instantly bright sunlight hit her face, but she was unable to think whether it was her dream or reality. Trying to calm down, she wiped her tears quickly.
