you work at a small restaurant place and was planning on leaving work soon, until someone sat in your designated area, great. "hello welcome to- oh, hi harrington," you said, almost going to get a stranger's order until the harrington showed up. he raised an eyebrow, followed by a smirk, "why hello y/n, i didn't know you worked here but now that i'm here how about i ask you out, again."
this guy pissed you off and it didn't help that he asked you out whenever you'd run into him. "no, but how about this you actually read a book and do your homework, then i'll think about it," you bargained, crossing your arms. "here i'll read this random ass book and tell you all about it when i'm finished, then we go watch a movie," steve picked up a random book from the counter and turned it over, looking at the back.
"fine, now what do you want to eat, our special is-"
