Chapter 84

Seth (POV)
We continuing with our journey as we explain to Edolas Lucy everything we know.
Natsu- Guess Erza is just as scary as she is back home.
Edolas Lucy- Excuse me?
Natsu- I didn't mean you. I'm talking about Erza.
Edolas- Well I don't know what she's like in your world but it's hard for us to believe she'd ever align herself with fairy tail.
Seth- For us, it's quite the opposite. We'd never expect her to not be with fairy tail.
Wendy- She seems pretty bad here.
Edolas Lucy- There's not a wizard in Edolas who isn't afraid of her. When you see her face you're as good as dead.
Natsu- Definitely don't want to run into her. She's scary enough on her own.
Seth *mind*- Yeah but if we are to ever get our friends back, our paths must cross.
Edolas Lucy- Well here we are. The town is just down there.

Natsu- Woah. Check it out Happy.
Happy- Thank goodness. It felt like we were never gonna make it here.
Mandy- Well, let's get a move on.
Wendy- Hey thanks for coming with us Lucy.
Lucy- Uh yeah. Just follow me. You're gonna need some magic weaponry or else you're not gonna make it very far.
Natsu- Thanks a lot scary Lucy.
Happy- Thanks scary Lucy.
Edolas Lucy- You guys are crusin for a brusin.
Seth- You guys never learn do ya?
With that we make into the town.
Edolas Lucy- It wasn't that long ago that you could buy and sell magic here just like anything else. But then the Royal Army started hunting down guilds and now buying and selling magic is strictly forbidden. What's even worse is that processing it is a crime.
Seth- Well ain't that some bullshit.
Wendy- What about people who's always been able to use it?
Edolas Lucy- What? Hold on. I don't know how to explain it anymore clearly. If you have magic, you just have to get rid of it or else you'll get busted or worse.
Seth *mind*- How can one just get rid of magic? I it's kind of impossible for us since we're Dragon Slayers. We can't just get rid of it? Do they even have Dragon Slayers in Edolas? What about God Slayers?
Carla explains the gist of the Edolas magic. It isn't like ours. They use magical tools instead of spells. The magic is stored in a lacrima and they combine it with an item and there you have magic.
Edolas Lucy- Well we're here. There's a black market for magic just down these stairs. Trust me, you'll need this stuff if you plan on traveling to the Royal City.
Wendy- A black market?
Natsu- Let's see it.
Seth- I'm game. This magic weapon thing has kinda peaked my interest.
We head down to the store and start checking out it's wares.
Happy- Woah look at all the stuff the got for sale.
Carla- This must be the mustiest shop I've ever been to.
Seth- Yo shopkeep, this may be a weird question for ya but do you have any holy or death magic here?
Shopkeep- That is a weird question. No I don't I'm afraid sonny boy. I do have darkness magic though. Check this little baby out.

Shopkeep- All you gotta do is pop the cartridge into the slot on the side and fire away.
Seth- Seems legit. I'll take it.
We get our things and head out. We ended stopping at some outdoor food place to grab some food.
Seth- So this form of magic that we have used to be apart of everyday life?
Edolas Lucy- Yeah pretty much. But now things have changed. The kingdom went and stole part of our culture from us.
Mandy- May I ask why?
Edolas Lucy- Because they want to keep the magic power for themselves.
Seth- Well if the Royal douchebags won't give you guys your magic back, I guess we'll just have to beat them down until they do.
Edolas Lucy- That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. There's no way we'd stand a chance against the massive Royal Army.
Natsu- If that's true, why are you tagging along with us then?
Edolas Lucy- What are you talking about? You guys said you needed an escort to the capital. I didn't come out here to fight anybody.
Natsu- Ok if you say so.
???- There's they are!! Quarter off the area.
Seth- Looks like we have baddies.
Edolas Lucy- It's the Royal Army.
Soldier 1- You're fairy tail wizards aren't ya?
Seth- Um no shit Sherlock. Peep the guild mark on my chest.
Soldier 2- Stay right where you guys are. Soldier 3- Capture them.
The charge to us.
Seth- Finally a fight that I can actually defend myself. (Aims gun) Gonna be like shooting fish in a barrel.
Natsu- Let's do this. Fire!!
Edolas Lucy- No!
Natsu and I both fire our weapons.
Natsu- Yeah we got em.
The smoke clears and they are unfazed because they have shields.
Natsu- What?! They have shields?!
Seth- Oh come on! Can't we catch a break?!
Suddenly wind picks up and I'm thrown in the air by a giant tornado with everyone else.
Seth- What did you do Wendy?!!
Wendy- I don't know?!
The tornado deposits us in a house and I crash land through a table.
Seth- (Sigh) I hate this place so much.
Edolas Lucy- Well we managed to get away but now we're stuck in the city.
Natsu- Man the magic here really blows.
Wendy- No kidding.
Seth- Mhmm.
Happy- What do we decide now?
Carla- Isn't there any other way outta here?
Edolas Lucy- Not that I know of.
Soilders- We found you fairy tail!
Seth- Oh shit.
???- Hey let go of me!
Seth- Wait a minute. Lucy?
Edolas Lucy- What?
Seth- No not you.
We crack the door open a bit and see our Lucy in the hands of some of the Royal Army soldiers.
Natsu- Lucy?
Edolas Lucy- The other me?
Happy- Hold on what's Lucy doing here?
Carla- I-I have no idea.
Mandy- This doesn't make any sense.
Natsu- We gotta save her.
Seth- Right behind ya.
We burst out the door.
Lucy- Open gate of the scorpion!
Seth *mind*- It won't work!
Lucy- Scorpio!
Suddenly Scorpio appears and he blasts the soldiers away and disappears.
Natsu- Hey Lucy.
Lucy- You guys!
She runs over to us and spots Edolas Lucy.
Lucy- Hey that's me!
Seth *mind*- Just how in the hell was she able to pull off her celestial magic when we can't even pull off our own magic. This is some weird shit.
