A/N
I'm sorry that it's been so long since my last chapter. I graduated from high school (!!!!!) and getting stuff reading for college has been pretty insane. I hope you enjoy this oneshot !

"I can't believe I'm already almost done with this class," I said, sighing.

"I know! This semester really blew right by," Brian said. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at him.

"I can't believe I survived," I laughed.

"I'm proud of you. You'll have no problem on the final." Brian started to put away his books.

"I wouldn't have a chance if it wasn't for you! Thank you so much for tutoring me." He blushed and laughed me off.

"I didn't do that much. You had it in you." Then it was my turn to blush. I brushed my hair behind my ear.

We both got our things and started to leave the library. I didn't realize how late we had been studying until we got outside. It was pitch black. The only light was from a few scattered streetlights.

"Looks like we studied straight through dinner. Do you want to get some food?" Brian asked. Him saying that made me realize how empty my stomach felt. I nodded. "Cool! How does sushi sound?"

"That sounds amazing," I gushed. Brian laughed.

He offered to drive us. His car was nice and smelled strongly of Vanilla. It wasn't too far of a drive. It was weird when we got there and were the only people in the restaurant. The server sat us at a pretty nice table. It was by one of the windows that was looking out at the campus.

Brian and I didn't hang out very often. We only ever really saw each other while he was tutoring me. He was a theater major while I was studying communications. He also was a year above me.

I really liked being with him. He somehow made economics interesting to me. He also always had a way of making me laugh. I was going to miss seeing him every week.

I knew that we didn't have to stop seeing each other. I could easily just ask him to hang out. I didn't want him to stop being in my life. Not when I was just getting these soft feelings for him.

"And then, Joe was like "I'M NOT TRYING TO FALL" and I just burst out laughing!" Brian managed to say through deep breaths. I laughed. He always got so into his stories about his theater friends. They seemed like a really funny group of people. "Nick was so mad! He was trying so hard to get us to focus."

"Sounds like a bit of a mess."

"Yeah," he said. He took a sip of his beer. I just drank more of my water. "You should come and see the show." I looked up at him. "Unless you don't want to! You shouldn't feel obligated to go." The way Brian nervously backtracked was cute. I couldn't help but chuckle lightly.

"I'd love to go," I admitted. "I love Harry Potter. I'm sure it's gonna be great." Brian looked so happy with my answer.

When the check came, Brian paid for me. I tried to fight him on it but he wouldn't budge. I just gave in and thanked him. He asked me about my family on the drive back. I appreciated the way he seemed to really care about the things he asked me about.

Brian parked his car in his usual spot in front of the theater. I asked him why he wouldn't just park at his dorm but he insisted he was at the theater more often. I decided not to question his ways.

"I guess I'll see you at the show," I said.

"Yeah. I'll see you then."

I started to walked towards my building. I barely made it a few feet before Brian called out my name. I turned around and he jogged towards me.

"Actually, do you mind if I walk you back to your dorm?" I blushed and looked down at my feet. "It's just that it's so late. I know that I'd be up all night worrying about whether or not you made it back safe."

"I'd like that. Thank you." Brian just flashed me that sweet smile of his and we began walking.

I asked him more questions about the show. He didn't want to spoil anything for me, but he did gush quite a bit. He kept stressing how proud of everyone he was. I was really excited to finally see him perform.

"I can't wait to hear you sing," I said. Brian just shrugged. "What?"

"Don't get your hopes up."

"Oh, please! I'm sure you're amazing." Brian looked at me. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes, their brown shades mesmerizing me. He was staring right back, a small smile hinting at his lips. I blinked away. "Don't be so hard on yourself. If you're half as good at singing as you are at economics, then you'll be incredible."

"Thank you."

We got to my building and I turned to face him. The slight breeze was blowing his hair lightly. I thought about how it might feel to run my hands through it.

"Thank you for tutoring me. I really don't know how I would've survived without you."

"It was no problem. I really enjoyed it." I blushed again. "You're an amazing girl. I'm really glad that I met you." My heart rose at his words.

"So am I," I said. My hair was blown a bit in my face. Brian raised a hand and brushed it behind my ear. I held my breath as his hand lingered.

"(Y/n)?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I-" he said, hesitating. "Can I kiss you?"

I couldn't speak. I just smiled and nodded. Brian smiled back at me before pressing his lips to mine. His hand held my face so delicately. He pulled away and I sighed. I couldn't hide the excitement I felt.
