Lonely Girl by tingtamtam © 2010

Alone with the desert air
Watching all the clouds go by
Without a single care
Standing at the end of the road
With two straight forks beside
Pondering the question
As I know I cannot hide
Lying on browning grass
I slowly drift away
So help me please when I cry
With the trees I sway
What's life for?
If it is not lived in joy
Sulking day for day
I learnt one must enjoy
I was but a lonely girl
Alone with the desert air
Watching all the clouds go by
Without a single care
But now I'm a happy lass
Dancing as the wind will too
Learning to smile and laugh
Life's no longer blue
