Chapter 61

A/N: I am back! my exams are over and i will now be able to post updates much more regularly now!

(Y/N)'s POV

Travelling with a 5 month old on a plane was tough, I was just glad we were able to fly on a private jet because as soon as there was any turbulence Tash would start crying. Most of the time it was calmed quickly by a game of peak a boo or her favourite toy, but when we were flying over the rocky mountains the turbulence was really bad and we were both struggling to calm her. Chris was walking up and down the jet bouncing her gently trying to soothe her but it wasn't working, "what time is it?" he asks as he passed me again. "about half 6 so, its half 3 back in boston" I say looking at my watch, "she probably wants her nap" I sigh as the jet hit another bit of turbulence. Chris nods and comes to sit down "hey little one are you tired, is that is? It the bouncy jet keeping you up?" Chris asks cuddling her. As Chris begins to calm her down again he begins to yawn himself "Chris do you want me to take her while you rest?" I offer quietly, he shakes his head slightly "no it's okay she's seems to have calmed down now, don't want to disturb her" he whispers glancing down at Tash to see she was beginning to fall asleep on him. "are you sure, you seemed tired" I ask smiling at Tash, "yeah I am, but I'm fine, I'll tag you in if I need to" he smiles. It was about an hour later when Tash woke back up from her nap "I'll take her now, have a nap Chris because you were fighting back the sleep I could tell" I say picking up Tash. Chris goes to argue but decides against it knowing I was right "okay how long until we land?" he asks with a yawn, "in about an hour or so, so get some rest while you can" I say grabbing one of Tash's toys and beginning to play with her. I look back up to see him already fast asleep "you do tire him out don't you?" I smile down at Tash, she gives a happy squeal in response "yes you do" I laugh.

We were backstage of the Ellen show, my parents had flown over a day after us to help look after Tash while we were doing press junkets together. I was holding Tash talking to my parent when Ellen walked past "hey (Y/N), how you doing?" she smiles, "oh I'm good thanks, how are you?" I ask, she smiles "I'm doing great, is this your little one?" she ask smiling at tash. "yeah this is tash, say hi tash" I smile pointing over at Ellen, Tash looks over at Ellen and waves one of her arms at her "hey she likes me" Ellen laughs, "yeah do you want to hold her?" I ask. "really? can i?" Ellen asks surprised, "yeah sure, here" I say passing Tash over Ellen, Ellen begins to make Tash laugh "you don't mind if we film this right?" she asks nodding over to one of the backstage cameras. "sure it's fine" I laugh, Ellen smiles and continues to make Tash laugh as the camera filmed "aww thank you for that, she is so sweet" Ellen says passing her back to me "I'll see you in a little bit" she adds saying goodbye. Chris then returns from getting his mic put on "they want you now" he smiles "hey little one I saw you having fun with Ellen" he says gently stroking Tash's head. Tash smile back at him and reached out for him, I passed her over to him "she is definitely a daddy's little girl" I smile watching the two of them. "oh Chris tell your mom thanks again for having Marshall as well as Dodger" my mom says for probably the 5th time "oh it was nothing, the two of them are so good together it makes sense" Chris smiles "thanks for being able to come over with us, we can't thank you enough for it" he says. My mom shakes her head "oh it's fine, bit of quality time with my granddaughter and get to go sightseeing too, it's great" she smiles. A few moments later I was taken to put my mic on before the two of us headed on stage to do our appearance. "and the stars of the upcoming captain America film, Chris and (Y/N) Evans!" Ellen says as we walk on stage, we give her a hug as we sit down "hi guys welcome back it's great to see you, you both look so fresh, must be the new parenthood glow" she smiles making to two of us laugh, "yeah the exhaustion glow" Chris laughs. "oh really is the little one keeping you up?" Ellen asks, "well she's beginning to sleep through the night but in the beginning we were sleeping almost as much as she was" I say thinking back over the last few months. "aww because how old is she now?" Ellen asks, "just gone 5 months" Chris says, Ellen then pulls up a picture of me holding Tash "because she is a beauty, now her name, Natasha was that after Scarlett's character because I know you are really close to Scarlett" Ellen asks. I shake my head "no, she's named after I friend I had back in middle school who unfortunately died of cancer first year of high school, and I loved her name so Tash is named after her" I explain making the crowd aww. "that is really sweet, now if you don't mind I'd like to ask you about this photo" she asks pulling up a photo Chris put on his twitter of me feeding Tash, "ah this photo, I got a bunch of people tweeting back about that saying that shouldn't been shown of twitter and blah blah blah" I say thinking back to when it happened "but we didn't take it down, because you can't actually see anything and if my child is hungry I am going to feed my child no matter what people think" I says getting some cheers from the audience. "very well said, and it's true people shouldn't be annoyed at that at all it's completely natural" Ellen smiles, "now I'm sorry you guys are here to talk about your newest movie and we've just been talking about Tash, who is just the sweetest I mean look at this from backstage" Ellen says playing the clip from earlier. "I'm sorry back to the movie, you guys started filming in may and finished late September early october, what was it like filming being you know pregnant?" Ellen asks making us laugh, "it was great because I wasn't getting beaten up at all, and I didn't have to wear tight clothing either, there was literally once scene where I got to wear one of Chris's actual jumpers" I say laughing, "yeah everyone was so nice about it too, marvel were really flexible about it" Chris adds. "I will say one annoying thing though, was that from christmas I had been getting back into shape learning all the choreography and then we found out and I obviously couldn't do it anymore and all the work I put it was like well this isn't gonna last" I say making Ellen and the crowd laugh. "yeah there must have been days were emotions were high and it was hard work right?" Ellen asks, both me and Chris shake our heads "not on set no, but I had to finish about 2 or so weeks after (Y/N) so I was working while (Y/N) was back in boston and at about 3pm in the afternoon I get a call from (Y/N)" Chris starts and i start laughing realising what story he was telling "and she was crying, so I panic slightly asking her what's wrong when I found out she had just watched my movie gifted and was crying at the ending of it" he continues laughing as he told it. "how could you not cry at that movie though, I cried at the trailer, I mean come on" I laugh defending myself, "it was a good movie, so you guys seemed to have a lot of fun on set filming this going by the pictures you shared" Ellen continues pulling up a couple of photo's from Instagram and twitter including the one were all the boys were wearing my mask. Me and Chris laugh at the pictures "yeah working on these movies is great, there is rarely a time where we aren't laughing, we've made so many friendships because of it" Chris says, I nod my head in agreement "yeah I mean I can't believe I'm already halfway through my contract with marvel" I say. Ellen looks at me surprised "really? are you thinking of resigning?" she asks, I shake my head "don't know really, I haven't decided since it's still a long way away, I mean these last what 4 nearly 5 years have been great but I'm really looking forward to being able doing other movies too" I explain, "yeah we both are, I have 3 movies left too it seems like a long way away so we aren't thinking of anything at this point" Chris adds. Ellen smiles "well it's been lovely to have you guys and congratulations on the movie, the next instalment of captian America comes out may 6th go see it" Ellen says ending our segment.
